Illustrator 2018 Artboard Problem
Every time I try to add a new artboard or rearrange existing artboards it causes Illustrator to freeze and I have to force quit. This was not a problem in Ai2017, please fix.

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.

Having the same issue today with AI 22.0.1 on Mac OS 10.13.2 (17C88).
I can rearrange existing artboards and option-click-drag to copy, but if I click the "Create New Artboard" button, the app freezes and I have to force quit and restart.
Incidentally, this only seems to be an issue in a file that uses 0 spacing between the boards. If I start a new doc with default artboard spacing, the button seems to work normally.

Hi Andy,
You can try duplicating artboards and then arrange them with 0 spacing.

This is my problem as well. And Yes, I intentionally created artboards with zero spacing.
Nitish, I don't understand your sentence. Could you elaborate on the solution?
I assume I can create artboards another way, it's just that the "new artboard" button is broken.
But It seems like it's a confirmed bug. Can you verify that Adobe is aware of the bug and is working on a solution? -

For now I've come up with a work around where I duplicate an existing artboard by using the artboard tool docked on the left. The freezing happens when I select either "New Artboard" or "Rearrange All Artboards" from my tool palette that I have docked on the right side. Hope that gives you some more info...

It's not the file because even when I start with a blank document and try to add an artboard it freezes.

新規ドキュメントを作成する際、
アートボードの数を2以上にして間隔を0mmに設定すると
以降、そのドキュメント上で新規アートボードを追加するとフリーズします。
今の所、100％の再現率です。新規アートボードの作成される間隔は、2018から新規アートボードの間隔に影響されることになったようなので、結構不便です。。
（2017以前はアートボードの再配置をした際の間隔が、以降の新規アートボードを追加する際の間隔になってました。）
