Ton, Yes because they removed it... and yes you could replace 1 link and then it would auto relink any other file in that same folder that was missing in the file. Done it a thousand times up until they changed how it works..

Egor, The only check box in the next dialog is "search for missing links in this folder" when checked it still makes you go through the relink process multiple times to get them all relinked. The previous option before it was removed would only make you relink 1 file then it would auto relink everything else front same folder that was missing. This new option is an insane step backwards and a waste of everyone's time

Beta 28.6 578. There is no Apply to All checkbox. You cannot replace a missing link by another file unless you do it manually for each item.

Taryn, the team decided to move this option into the next dialog, where we choose the actual folder. At the bottom of it there should be a dedicated checkmark with a more precise description.
Can you spot it? What do you think about this change?

this is now an issue again with 28.5... Nothing like having to relink 25 links one by one.... Adobe just gets worse and worse

Illustrator used to ask if I wanted to replace all links when they are missing from a file. After the latest update it no longer asks this. We use this feature all the time and it saves us a massive amount of time every day! Please put this feature back! First image shows how it used to look, and second image shows after the new update.

@CSievers reports that the option is back in version 28.5. NO, it is not. I'm using 28.5 (see image), the option is NOT there.

En la última actualización han quitado el "Aplicar a todo" de la ventana de re-linkeo de los enlaces perdidos. Lo que dificulta el trabajo cuando se tiene un archivo matriz con varios enlaces que deben ser actrualiados.

複数個の配置したファイルを別名のファイルに置換する場合、「すべてに適用」のチェック項目がないと、配置したファイルの数だけ置換作業を繰り返さなければならず、作業効率が悪いです。

Ver28.4.1では問題ありません。改善を望みます。

バージョン 28.4.1では問題ありませんでした。

アプリの再インストールや環境設定の削除、初期化なども行いましたが改善されませんでした。

これまで一括で行えた置換作業に大変時間を取られ困っております。

早急に改善願います。

I use templates that automatically populate a page with a given linked file. When I open the template to print business cards 20x per page, it used to pop up saying it couldn't find the file and ask me to re-link the file. I could then choose the "Apply to All" checkbox, re-link the file, and it would fill the entire page with that file. With Illustrator 28.5, that option is now missing (see screen capture here). The option to "Apply to All" is completely gone.

The issue was TEMPORARILY FIXED, but now in Illustrator 28.5 the issue has returned.  The "Apply to All" checkbox is missing AGAIN.  It only gives the option to replace ONE AT A TIME, to ignore, or to ignore all.  

In Adobe Illustrator 2024 version 28.0 and later this problem is solved.

5/13の時点では正常でしたが，5/15に確認すると「すべてに適用（Replace all）」は消失していました。
v28.5の新機能「不足しているファイルを自動的に再リンクする（Relink missing files automatically）」は，ファイル名が同じ場合は十分な働きをしますが，複数の別名ファイルの一括置換を行うことができません。

バージョン28.5でまた同じ問題が起こっているようです。

28.4.1では問題ありませんでした。

早急に改善願います。

FYI Beta version 28.4 32 appears to display the dialogue box without checkbox again.

J, I believe is has been shipped in the latest one already. Please try version 27.9 and check if it was restored.
