As stated in the article linked below, Pantone’s licensing with Adobe got changed.
Due to this change, customers will need to purchase Pantone Connect licenses to access Pantone colors in Adobe Creative Cloud products.

Alas, this is the world today.

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks
YogeshAn error occurred while saving the comment RY commentedI'd rather have in Illustrator.
Especially with your comment "it may not be on cloud" does that mean it won't be included in part of grade of cloud subscription the last thing I need is to pay for another item.
An error occurred while saving the comment RY commentedLook up the opentype font Chartwell, seal the things it can do? Make illustrated to them.
Also, enable interactive elements for charts. This goes along with making illustrator SVG files compliant with the SVG standard.
An error occurred while saving the comment RY commentedI hadn't been asked to create a graph in nearly a decade. Imagine my consternation when I discovered that the chart tool had not changed at all in all that time.

Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!
Dear Illustrator Community,
I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.
While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.
Our Approach
We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.
It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…

Since vector is infinitely scalable what's wrong with working at one half or one quarter scale of the finished piece?
