Latest version resolves this. Update to 25.4 and in Prefs > General, deselect "Trackpad Gesture to Rotate View".

@Roshi Kasliwal I'm pretty sure you can fix that error message by updating a Logitech driver on your system.

@Avinash Stepwise rotation will NOT work for me, it needs to be a free rotation.
Pen and type tools are a must, as are the likes of on-canvas Free Distort, Skew, etc.
I have serious doubts about Illustrator's ability to rotate and render the entire canvas instead of individual artboards. Right now, Illustrator struggles to render and display multiple artboards, so to imagine it also rotating those... I think it should be artboard specific, NOT canvas specific. An error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commented
Philip King (below) has hit the nail on the head. I would recommend that users frustrated with the lack of artboard rotation (and other useful features) try the demo of Affinity Designer to see just how much faster and better it is. Then, if you're happy to stick with Affinity, contact Adobe and tell them so.

"Picking it up shortly"... that was back in Nov 2017. It's now May 2018. Any update, @Yogesh?

@Everyone Try updating your Logitech drivers - that should hopefully resolve this problem.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

We are working towards giving preference to Photoshop for editing linked images, if Ps is installed. This may mean the label showing as ‘Edit on Photoshop’ when an linked image is selected. The change does not affect OS level file type associations.

There is no true PDF Export in Illustrator, because Illustrator allows to have editable PDFs with .ai-content stored within. Other apps does not allow that, and some users heavily rely on editable PDFs.
Attemps to solve this were made, but there is no clear solution so far. Still we hope to find one.
The intended way to get a PDF (without loosing your data) at the moment would be to use Save a Copy command that saves a separate copy of your file to PDF instead of Save As which keeps a saved file open.

Feedback: I have absolutely no use for this feature as I cannot, and will not, use Cloud Docs.
Meanwhile, Cloud Docs continue to have no background save, no support for linked images, and faulty incremental save. Please fix existing functionality before adding new functionality.
We can back-up preferences and settings via Edit > My Settings > Export Settings. We can back-up Actions via "Save Actions". But currently we cannot back-up our customised toolbars. It would be very useful if that option could be added to "Export Settings".
It would also be very useful if all settings could be backed-up to the cloud, similar to Photoshop's new "Sync Presets" option.
