1. Crash with AI Files and link broken

   When i opening a files ai who have broken links with a files on a another not connected hard drive, illustrator CC 2019 crash and i can't opening this files, but with a another pc and another version i delete the missing links and when i've try again to open it on my pc it's working again.

   so i think it's when a fils have a broken links that crash the software.

2. MacOs Mojave Free Transform Tool in Illustrator CC 2019 without panel.

   Selecting the Free Transform Tool in Illustrator CC 2019 -after drawing a rectangle with the Rectangle Tool -the panel of the Free Transform Tool fails to appear. Only shortcuts are possible (using iMac).

   Illustrator provides two tool panels now: Basic (chosen by default) and Advanced (with all the tools, including plugin ones). This change was made to make Illustrator less clumped form the beginning and ease the learning process. You can read more about this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/tools.html

   You can also access all the tools from the 'drawer' menu, by clicking the button with three dots at the bottom of any toolbar.

   As always, Ai doesn’t care much about our settings, and this time they forced this changes for everyone, not explaining the change directly in-app. Hope this gets improved.

4. CC2019 Offset Path stuck in Inches

   Offset Path seems to be stuck in Inches in 23.0. I have the preferences all set to "points", yet when I try to use Offset Path, it's still displaying the offset amount in inches. This didn't happen until the upgrade to 23.0.

5. resolution - since 2019 update illustrator's menus, tools and swatches are too big?

   It seems like it can't tell its on a 5k monitor?

   Starting CC 2019 we are scaling the user interface a little on high resolution devices. To turn that off please use the small value as described on this page to get back the behaviour of previous release.

   I'm getting an error that I can't find/change font because there is text on a locked layer. Well here's a bunch of screen shots that show not a single layer is locked. So why doesn't Adobe Fix this?

8. Fonts problem

   After upgraded from version 2018 to 2019, the Chinese fonts won't preview properly. Now all I see are squares. It was fine in AI 2018.

9. Custom scripts from CC2108 not working in CC2019

   The big power of Illustrator is its ability to run scripts. I built my workflow around some important scripts. Upgrading to 2019 made them non-functional.

   It would be great, if there was a way to update scripts as well.

10. QTWebEngine Page on MAC

    Hi,

    I have a plugin created for Adobe Illustrator CC 2017/2018.
    In the plugin I have a panel which acts as a container for a QTWebEngine page.
    The page consist of several text boxes where I can enter text.
    I can perform basic operations like cut/copy/paste/selection on windows but I am unable to perform these actions on Mac (Os El Capitan).
    What I observed is that on windows clipboard will allow saving text on pressing Ctrl+C/X/V but on MAC whenever I press Command+C/X/V on Illustrator, it is trying to invoke Edit menu for Cut Copy Paste and the control goes from my text box to Illustrator's Text frame art.

    I have tried many solutions but all fails. Only workaround is to open Edit menu and close it again, then only we can perform Cut/Copy/Paste on MAC.

    Can anyone give me a proper solution to this problem?

11. Crashes every time I open anything. Or save a new file. Completely unusable.

    Ever since the last update, Illustrator has become completely unusable. It locks up every time I try to open an existing file, or save a new file. Forcing me to force quit the application.

    System specs:
    OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
    Model Name: MacBook Pro

    Your expected result
    - to be able to use the software to open, edit, and save Illustrator files.

    Your actual result
    - cannot open, or save files. CAN edit a new file, and look at it for a while. But then need to force quit the app after clicking save, since it locks up. Basically a high tech etch-a-sketch.

12. High Sierra 10.13.6, AI 22.1 Scrolling bar and File bar not showing. Also all files will close without warning

13. Problem merging dates from CSV into graph

    When merging data into an Illustrator file to create a batch of bar graphs based on a group of CSV files, numerical dates merge into the graph data as numbers with decimals instead of dates. A 6/30/16 date merges into Illustrator as 6.00 and 12/31/16 becomes 12.00, so every date with the same month appears the same. This also messes up the graph, leaving the chart with two categories instead of one of the data columns being assigned to the x-axis.

    This includes when dates are formatted (in Excel) as text, and when the dates include hyphens or periods instead of slashes, but the process works properly when the dates are formatted (in Excel) as dates but use the spelled-out format (ex. June 30, 2017).

    We have run through a detailed discussion on the forums here, including step-by-step process with screenshots: https://forums.adobe.com/message/10573090. The end result appears to be an outside script, which is an unfortunate workaround solution to what appears to be a bug within the program.

15. Viewing files when placing an image

    For a short time recently when I choose File>place and navigate to my stock image folder, the most recently downloaded file appeared first. SUPER TIME SAVER (Using Windows 10). Now it seems this feature is gone and I have to sift through hundreds of files once again. I can set file explorer to sort by "date created" ie. date created ON MY COMPUTER, but I can't replicate this viewing option any more through Illustrator's place option. Any ideas?

    unfortunately the feature that you are referencing is provided by Windows operating system. We use the Windows system fie open dialog to enable file place on your artboard.
    Please click on sort by date created this should resolve your problem.

16. Make lines look straight again

    So, I would expect to let straight lines look or be straight and not inexact, triangeled or non-point.

18. Adobe Illustrator has found an error it can't correct

    How do I deal with the Adobe Illustrator error message "Adobe Illustrator has found an error it can't correct"? It shows up for one Illustrator file but not others. Why does it give me this pop up every time?
    I'm running Win10 64-bit.

19. New from Template...

    In version 22.1 ”New from Template...” command works just like ”Open...” command. Earlier version ”New from Template” opens always template files from Cool Extras folder.
