Dropbox saving issue
When I try to save a new file on, save as and choose it to save on dropbox. The folder I've selected that I want my file in, immediately start syncing all my online-only files to local.
Please see attached for visual explanation.
Does any1 know a way to work around this?

randomly shutting off and not saving
so im in a digital arts class at my school so i dont know much about the computers, i am was working on a project and i was just about finished with my outline after 1 hour 32 minutes of work and the Illustrator just shuts off randomly and i go to open the app back up again and it didn't save. This better get fixed, and if it doesn't me and my teacher aggreed we will go to something else if we have to.

Windows 10, could not open files or create new in Illustrator CC 2019 but CS6 was fine.
Updated Illustrator CC - same issue.
Uninstall / clear prefs / reinstall - same issue.
Searched forums, found this: https://community.adobe.com/t5/Illustrator/Illustrator-CC-2019-keeps-crashing-when-opening-files/td-p/10641479I JUST updated my printer driver a couple of days ago because I was having printer issues. I hadn't opened Illustrator since then. I uninstalled my printer and voila! Illustrator will open / create files now.

New Update (v 23.1) View pdf after saving error
Now when saving a pdf and the button for "view pdf after saving" is checked, acrobat opens and says "there was an error opeing the file".

CC Libraries import yields progress indicator for thumbnail
With the most recent release of Illustrator (23.1.1) on a Mac running Catalina 10.15 Beta, any time I drag an item into the Libraries panel, a thumbnail fails to appear (instead I get a persistent animated progress indicator). I'm able to see the correct thumbnail of the imported item in other Adobe apps (Photoshop and InDesign), as well as online (Libraries --> View on Website). Only after I restart Illustrator do they appear.

Panels, windows not updating or displaying correctly
Finding this bug a lot recently. Basically I will be working in a file and the tool panels won't display, you can right click and see the the pop ups but nothing appears. Likewise if you have two or more documents open and switch between them, the screen stays the same. It says I'm on the new document but it doesn't change. The only way to fix it is to close and restart the program. I also get it with photoshop. Both at work and home. "Export for Screen" default folder is one specific folder and wont change
When i use "export for screens" the default export location is one specific folder on my desktop, if i move that folder or put it in the trash, the default export location will change accordingly to "follow" the location of the folder.
This happens for all files, also if i create a new file. A screenshot of this phenomenon is attachedFor reference, im on MacOS Mojave 10.14 and (the newest) Illustrator (CC 2019) 23.0.6

Expanding compound path causes a shift in the object shape
If I call Expand on a compound path, there is a shift in the width and height of the object. This seems to only be a problem when the stroke is in the center. If the stroke is inside or outside, there isn't a problem.
2 votesIllustrator can display width and height values respecting the width of strokes and effects, if you enable Use Preview Bounds option in Preferences > General. It also makes bounding box larger to fit them visually, hence the change in dimensions.
When it’s off, only geometric shape is taken into account, ignoring stroke width or effects.
When you expand the shape, the stroke is not a stroke anymore, but a filled path, that makes the overall group geometrically larger. -

WRONG STARTING SIZES B FORMAT IN ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
B4 size is 250x353mm

B5 size is 176x250mmI was keep getting wrong printed formats because i was just pressing given model without carefully lookout.

Adobe Illustrator 23.0.6 Crashes
Adobe Illustrator 23.0.6 crashes after 2 minutes of launch. Tried reinstalling, restarting the computer but the problem still persists. Trying to install the previous version now :(

Opening and placing .psd artwork not working consistently as described in documentation.
importing images from .psd files intermittently not working as described. When opening or placing a .psd file, no option to convert layers is offered. The entire image opens right up as a single object with an opaque white background.
I have been using these packages since 1994 and this just started happening in th past few weeks. Using Windows 10, AI 23.0.6 (64-bit). PS 20.0.6 release

disappearing swatch palette
i create custom names for swatches i.e. myCoolSwatch. then create gradient swatches. all swatches disappear but a few random and a pattern. if i try to create new swatch with artwork, default name is myCoolSwatch copy. Its as if they are hiding.

Make Hide Edges shortcut work when in Dialog (Swatch Options, Transform Each, etc)
In some operations (e.g. Transform Each), we discover that the selection edges are influencing the perception of the preview. It would be nice when the Hide Edges command can be triggered while still in such an operation, in stead of leaving the function, turn off Edges, and repeat.

Fonts missing and say I need to re log in
When I open a past project from creative cloud folder It directs me to find a missing font. But the font finder doesn't sync to my library. Now Im stuck with a missing font on a logo project that just messed my whole design up. Plus when I export the project as a export safe for web... png 24 the file export look pixellated and not a vector file.

Illustrator 23.0.6 MacOS High Sierra slowdown, possible memory leak.
I have noticed over the last several versions that if I leave Illustrator running for more than a few days without quitting (with and without any files open), that my system gets less and less responsive, sometimes to the point where it seems completely locked up other than cursor movement. A quick mouse over the Illustrator Icon in the dock shows that the Application is Not Responding. I have also noticed the same thing happens in Photoshop. Artwork in Clipping mask doesn't resize
Illustrator 2019 on PC Windows 10
When I resize artwork sometimes anything that's inside a clipping mask doesn't resize. The shape I created for the mask resizes, but the artwork 'inside' stays static.
If I undo and retry a few times it will eventually work. I'm using the 'black' arrow to select the object and resize with the handles. I'm not using either of the white arrows. So I don't think it's a selection issue on my end.
