1. Fonts fail to outline when exporting DXF file

   Windows 11, Illustrator 26.3.1
   I'm Exporting DXF files to a laser cutter. The outline font option in the export dialogue appears to be ineffective. Fonts aren't outlined and the font element doesn't appear in the exported file. All other elements are present. Outlining prior to export until I can downgrade to a previous version.
   Recent PC death forced me to upgrade from Illustrator 2015 (I think) which had no issue with outlining fonts.

2. Unable to open/paste/place images from AfterEffects generated PNG sequence.

   I'm getting error when I'm trying to open/place/paste image form After Effects (22.4.0 build 54) genereted PNG sequence. Png can be any size (tested with 1080x1920 & 640x640). Images had no transparency (solid white bg).
   Error says "Requested transformation would make some objects too large". When I press OK, png image opens in another tab with dimensions of 16383x 16383px for 640x640px picture. I can open same image in Photoshop without a problem. The DPI of the image generated by AfterEffects is 72dpi.
   Illustrator version 26.3.1.
   After Effects 22.4.0 build 54
   MacOS 12.2.1

   P.S. My colleague was able to open this image on Illustrator version 24.

5. Exporting to SVG returns different code after Illustrator updates

   I use Illustrator files as source documents for complex system maps that we export to SVGs for applications. With the most recent updates, the exports have significantly changed the output code for the SVG which is impacting the javascript interactions with those svgs. The first and most substantial issue is that in calculating the viewbox attribute parameters, Illustrator is NOW including hidden layers where it once ignored them. I use a background layer which mimics our system's background colors to more closely reflect the contrasts needed and hide that for export. But where once the svg tag exported as
   <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 1317.04 755">
   it now exports as
   <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 1407 791">
   which shifts all the other object coordinates within the svg, unless I actively delete that layer from the illustrator file.

   Keep in mind that for the above example, nothing in the Illustrator file was altered between the two exports other than the Illustrator update.

   I've also noticed that bold text once carried a font weight and now omits that.

7. Asset Export

   Illustrator 2022 - When using the asset export window with one of the file types being set to SVG, the resulting SVG MAC OS finder previews show up as empty artboards. If you open them in illustrator the art is there, but way off on the canvas and I have to manually select all then align them to the center of the artboard. Very annoying. This never happened with Illustrator 2020.

8. Cannot place or link native AI file into document if PDF compatibility is off...

   AI files cannot be placed into other AI files if PDF compatibility is off for the linked files. PDF compatibility completely negates the benefit of linked files storage savings since a complete duplicate of all artwork (included linked assets) gets embedded with the AI file - this is inefficient (at an extreme level) Illustrator should be able to place native AI files without relying on PDF and we should be able to benefit from the storage savings of linked assets.

9. SVGs are missing elements when opening with Illustrator (and PhotoShop too)

   For the last several weeks I've discovered that opening SVGs with Illustrator (and PhotoShop in fact) results in a significant portion of the artwork being missing. I've opened over 100 SVGs from multiple sources and every single one is missing elements when opened in Illustrator. When opened in Inkscape or Google Chrome the SVGs are fine. See attachments for an example SVG file from the web.

   My work is almost solely in SVG for compatibility with other devices (laser cutter, etc), and not being able to successfully open ANY SVG is incredibly disruptive. I can export from Inkscape as EPS then it will open in Illustrator, but it's not the right file type for my needs. I also shouldn't have to use a free, inferior program to work around bugs in the very expensive software I pay for.

   I'm using the newest version of Illustrator (26.3.1)

10. Bug: Export to SVG messing up illustration

    When i export an artboard or selection to svg it messes up the location of some parts of the illustration while exporting to other formats (png) works correct. I use illustrator version 26.3.1. I have like 20 other artboards with other illustrations, all messed up. Like a month ago it still worked.

11. Problem ingesting then reexporting SVG with transform attributes

    Take an SVG file with transform attribute which contains some translate(x,y) distance. Illustrator will open it fine, but if you re-export (save for screens), transforms are mangled and go outside the svg viewport.

    Please investigate, maybe it's worth to wipe the transform attributes completely when saving to a new SVG file?

    I attached the example SVG file. Disregard the fills, they were originally set to consume CSS-variables but Illustrator wiped them (which is another potential bug). For example, fill would be like: fill="var(--c-color-semantic-codsen-roundel-bg)".

12. "on your computer" button does not work in the "save" dialog when "creative cloud" is selected as the default location to save files

    I just updated to 26.3.1. Made a new file, sketched in it, and hit 'save".

    I was presented with the Creative Cloud dialogue. I am not a fan of keeping stuff in the cloud so I hit the "on my computer" button; nothing happened. I swore, aborted the dialogue, and tried again to the same result.

    A little further experimentation suggests that it works sometimes if I click on the button again. Weird.

    OSX 11.6.4, Big Sur.

14. broken: Save Variable Library

    since Ai 26.3.1

    saving variable library from the variables panels result in this error:
    'The filter cannot complete because of an unknown error.'

    Also a related issue is that scripts using 'exportVariables' function will fail

15. dxfデータ・dwgデータを読み込むと形が崩れる

    Auto CAD LT2023で作成したdxfデータ・dwgデータをillustrator2022（バージョン26.3.1）で開くと形が崩れてしまいます。

    添付画像のように，一部のスプライン端点（恐らく閉じている部分）がillustratorで読み込むとアートボード左下部分に集まってしまい，大きく形が崩れます。

16. Adobe Illustrator: can't save the illustration, ID: -54.

    Same issue with some members here but I couldn't find solution. Can't save existing illustration file (in .pdf), have to "save as" new file. Really hope to get helps in detail showing how to fix this.

    1. Windows 10 Home - version 21H2, installed on this new computer on Apr. 8th 2022.
    2. Ai version 26.3.1 (latest version on Adobe Creative Cloud).
    3. The step: Saving an existing file (in .pdf). have to save as new file after even 01 modification in the file.
    4. Expected everything back to normal, can open file, make change(s) and just save it.
    5. File & video uploaded.

17. White lines added around exported JPGs

    When I'm exporting images from Illustrator using 'Export Assets', often white lines or lighter lines are added on random edges of the images.

18. SVG opening don't work anymore correctly

20. Illustrator 26.2.1 unable to save as .ai or .pdf

    Save blank Artboard OK, but when with text, it is not saving/responding... hang
