1. zoom tool?

   did something happen to the simple command + and command - zoom keyboard shortcuts? I've been using those since 1995 or 6, and now when i use them it centers me on a specific, but unselected artboard?

2. Appearance pallet, 2 top stacks always expand, after use Type Tool

   Illustrator 22.0.0 72@102345, Illustrator 21.1.0 and all previous CC versions

   Steps:
   1. Open Illustrator, new document
   2. Open Appearance Palette (Shift+F6)
   3. Collapse all stacks in Appearance Palette (if they expanded)
   4. Choose Type Tool
   5. Use Type Tool in any place of document
   6. ESC and Click any place of document

   Expected result:
   Appearance Palette Stacks remain minimized (folded)

   Actual result:
   2 top Appearance Palette Stacks are expand (unfolded)

3. Scroll wheel crash

   Logitech MX Master 2S mouse scroll wheel has stopped functioning in latest versions of AI. Currently hanging and crashing.
   Latest Windows, Latest AI. Latest nvidia driver.
   Asuswrx90, AMD7965, 256 QVL RAM, 5090Founders, Samsung 9100 m2 OS/CACHE/Storage drives
   Expected: smooth scroll
   Actual: App hangs for 2 seconds.
   GPU accelleration settings on or off make no difference.
   I suspect it is a logitech driver issue but a basic bit of mouse functionality in very very common hardware should not be happening.

4. Info boxes don’t go away when you stop hovering over the toolbar

   When you hover over the toolbar, the info boxes appear and do not go away when you take your cursor off of the tool. It covers my view too much!

5. Behavior of buttons in the character panel when automatically converted to an icon panel

   I'm using macOS Tahoe 26.2, with English system language and the Japanese version of Illustrator. This issue started with Illustrator version 30.

   1. Check "Automatically turn into icon panel" in the User Interface preferences.
   2. Click the ♥ button in the character panel or the scroll bar when selecting a font.
   3. The character panel closes.

   • This issue did not occur up to version 29 of Ai.

7. Illustrator freezing when clicking on top bar menu MacOS 15.7.2

   Currently in macOS Sequoia 15.7.2: on multiple iMac m1 24" running it, illustrator freezes sometimes when clicking the top menu bar, have to force quit. The bug is not replicable on a specific event, it just happens sometimes.

8. Share and Review Pin Function is not working

   To Whom It May Concern,

   I've encountered a translation issue in the Traditional Chinese interface of Adobe Illustrator, where two different functional panels share the same translated name, "屬性" (Properties / Attributes), which causes confusion for users.

   Properties panel:
   In Illustrator 2024, this panel was translated as "內容" . However, in Illustrator 2025, its name has been changed to "屬性".
   Its function is to dynamically display the most commonly used attributes and control options based on the currently selected object or tool.

   Attributes panel:
   This panel has consistently been named "屬性" (Attributes).
   Its primary function is to control advanced object attributes, such as Overprint settings and showing center points.
   Since both panels are now named "屬性," it's difficult for users to distinguish between the Properties panel (for common attributes) and the Attributes panel (for advanced settings).

   To avoid this confusion, I kindly request that Adobe consider re-evaluating the Traditional Chinese naming for these two panels.
   Thank you for your time and assistance. I hope this issue can be resolved soon to improve the user experience for Traditional Chinese users.

   The issue has been fixed in the latest GA 29.7.1 build.

   The older “Attributes” panel now shows as “進階屬性"(Advanced Attributes) instead of just “屬性”.

10. The Linked File dropdown does not resize correctly, often goes offscreen

    The 'Linked File' dropdown (visible when a linked file is selected) does not resize correctly.

    If the lower-right corner is dragged to resize the left edge very quickly moves offscreen, then when the handle is released the dropdown is often too large to view on the monitor, as it has scaled so wide that it is off the right hand side of the screen. It is difficult to get it to all fit on the screen at once, and if the lower-right handle goes offscreen then it requires a restart of Illustrator to try again.

    Restarting Illustrator each time this happens makes quite a dent in productivity, and it's really easy to accidentally scale it by too much due to this bug.

    If you can resize it to be wider but still staying onscreen, you can then again drag the handle in the lower-right to see how it is behaving - it resizes very rapidly using the handle as the anchor point for the transform, rather than the left edge staying fixed and the handle moving as expected.

    Uservoice won't let me attach screen recordings, I can provide as needed.

    Expected behaviour:
    Dragging the handle in the lower-right would resize the dropdown by scaling from the upper-left corner, and the window would 'stay' where the cursor was released.

    Win 11, Illustrator v 29.5.1 (but has been present for previous versions as well, I don't recall when I first encountered this bug but it's been a while).

    The 'Linked File' dropdown (visible when a linked file is selected) does not resize correctly.

11. Keyboard navigation for Save/Don't Save dialog box NOT WORKING

    Chip: Apple M2 Max
    Memory: 32 GB
    macOS Sequoia 15.4.1
    Illustrator 29.0.1

    I expect to keyboard navigate to any button, and when the desired button is highlighted, I expect to hit enter and the button action should take place.

    Save dialog box buttons do not work with keyboard navigation.

    I opened 16 PNGs, I cut or mess with the image and past what I want into my working file, the want to close all open files I am done with but not save what I did...

    (I was only grabbing what I want for new work and want line thickness consistency examples)

    When the dialog box for "do you want to save?" opens, I attempt to use the arrow key to navigate to "Don't Save" & hit return. This opens the save function - Again, the button "Don't Save" is highlighted and I hit enter and I get the save functionality.

    If i move the mouse to the button and click function works as should.

12. Paste in Front shortcut got reassigned to Contextual Task Bar

    For some reason this very important shortcut is now assigned to the Contextual Task Bar.
    Please repair that. Cmd-F goes decennia back, and is very important for experience Illustrator-users.

14. Zooming in and out is super delayed and slow. Only works fast with control + y.

    Lenovo thinkpad x1 / Illustrator v 29.5

    Whenever i try to zoom in and out, it is super delayed and laggy. It doesnt happen when I do control + y though. I checked my storage space and thats fine. It is only with illustrator.

15. Recolor window appears out of frame when in isolation mode

    When in isolation mode, the top of the Recolor window is out of frame, so I can't move it. Unfortunately, it pops up right over the artwork, so I can't use it.

    I tried moving the panel when not in isolation mode, but it still pops up over the artwork and out of frame in isolation mode.

16. Multiscreen display problem

    On Windows 11 pro. Multiscreen HP. Launching and Activating (to use), Adobe Illustrator causes multiscreen display, to reset to Landscape and also Disrupt other windows to Minimise and Maximise and change Portrait to Landscape format, without reason.

    This also occurs over one minute, which is a waste of time, when I'm regularly jumping into Adobe Illustrator.

    The layout display setup should be maintained and not be disrupted repeatedly. Please stop changing Windows display format and let the OS do the job.

    I can confirm this is a problem with Adobe Illustrator with a simple test. When I activate ALL other programs, the display returns back to normal, as I have setup. However as soon as I activate Adobe Illustrator, the multiscreen display is completely disrupted in my three(3) screen setup with one portrait view.

    Please fix. I'm unable to use Adobe Illustrator in this current state.

17. Layers palette filter grabs focus when pressing Ctrl-C

    Pressing Ctrl-C to copy something activates the focus on the filter field in the Layers palette. Using keyboard shortcuts becomes a landmine when this happens because you can inadvertently turn off layers or, in some cases, slow Illustrator way down by pasting SVG data into the field (Ctrl-V often follows pressing Ctrl-C). When the latter happens, Illustrator tries to filter by the text in the field, and it can take quite a while sometimes to regain focus enough to clear out the field. More often than not, however, I have to force quit and restart.

    A potential side effect of this has been the lack of ability to copy color or width values from their respective. When attempting to do so, the ug is randomly triggered. Sometimes the text does still copy, other times it does not.

    OS: MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 (this has happened for a while across previous OS versions)

    AI version: 29.3.1 (this has happened with previous versions of AI, going back to the introduction of the filter feature)

18. Random inverted Movement lock during Wacom Cintiq Pen and mouse usage

    I haven't used AI in awhile. I updated it today from CC. I'm on Windows 11 with a Cintiq 24. When I go to move an object or shift my workspace view, the pen motion or mouse motion will lock and invert. I won't be able to access any menu items. I was in task manager as I reproduced this. Doesn't look like it affects memory too much. Just trying to figure out if this is a bug or new setting.

19. Using scrollbars with a Wacom while editing text results in sticky cursor that will not stop scrolling

    Using the handles in the horizontal and vertical scrollbars while text is being edited results in the cursor 'sticking' to the scrollbar and not releasing. Pressing esc, alt-tabbing away all seem to have no effect, after about 30s it stops and if I have minimised everything with Win+M. Unsure if it is purely time-based or not.

    This only seems to occur when using a Wacom, the same interaction with a mouse does not suffer from the same sticky cursor.

    Steps to repro:
    - create a text object, and leave the cursor live inside the object. Doesn't seem to make a difference if any characters have been typed or not.
    - using a wacom stylus (e.g. Inutos) click and drag on either the horizontal or vertical scoll handles. This should result in the scoll handle 'sticking' to the cursor (e.g. scrolling with all cursor movement), with no obvious way to release it.
    - Clicking within the scrollbar also causes abnormal behaviour (instead of scrolling in the direction clicked relative to the handle), but this is harder to identify exactly what's going on. It locks the system up for a while, and appears to have stacked all the inputs while in the locked state.

    Expected behaviour:
    Clicking and dragging a scrollbar handle while editing text would be expected to scroll as normal, and either cancel the text edit in its current state, or keep the edit active, either would make sense.

20. Two finger mac trackpad zooming instead of panning randomly

    When panning with two fingers trackpad on mac, it sometimes zooms in randomly instead of panning. Not sure what the issue is because it does not happen in other apps with trackpad pan/zoom feature.
