Problem with Simbraille Font in Illustrator when trying to Save As a PDF.
In Illustrator, I use the Type Tool to create the letter "a" using the SIMBRAILLE font. It appears correctly in Illustrator. Dot 1 is larger than dots 2,3,4,5 and 6. This is the effect I want. (I am creating special flash cards to use with a student at school). When I am done saving my file (I have the Braille cell, and the corresponding character beneath on a second layer... depicting the letter "a" is a different font (calibre regular), and the above are against my background layer (a yellow rectangle for contrast). It saves nice in Illustrator. But when I SAVE AS a PDF.... everything comes out in the PDF EXCEPT dot 6 in the PDF. this happens regardless of the letter used. It is a simple file. But I need all six dots to appear in the PDF. (For instance: the Letter A in Sim braille is depicted as follows: Dot 1 is large and prominent... while dots 2,3,4,5 and 6 are smaller. Why is dot 6 always being dropped? My illustrator is up to date as are my other products. (I have to create a whole alphabet and other words. Can you help?

Cutting out parts of the exported PNG
Exporting "saveforweb" PNG cut all the logos a few pixels in.
P.S. ever since CC was released (and started renting out your software) the quality went down, your software doesnt work well with macos catalina. BOOOOOOO Adobe. BOOOOOOOO.

UI Panels not rendering with Catalina update
The panels in the user interface for both Illustrator and Photoshop have started not rendering properly (aka disappearing) both for the document panel and for workspace panels the ever since upgrading to Catalina on Mac. This most commonly happens when pressing "F" to switch between document views. Other times when switching from another application to the Illustrator or Photoshop window, the entire document disappears despite the Window dropdown menu saying it is open.
I have contacted Adobe Customer Support and they have continually told me to delete my preference files (Illustrator) or turn on/off Legacy compositing (Photoshop). Despite doing these, neither has fixed the problem. How can this be solved for good? It's highly disruptive to my workflow.

Cannot make invisible/visible layers
Cannot manage my layers. The "eye" of the layers look like not working.
Like you can see in my capture, the layers are not visible mode but still visible.Restarting computer is a waste of time, didnt work.
I need this function to work obviusly. So fix them because I must spend my time looking for another version ( and I paid for the 2020 )

Spanish mistraslation
When you choose Object > Path > Simplify and go to advanced options, the line: "Show original path" is mistranslated to: "Mostrar ruta original". It should be: "Motrar trazado original".
"Path" could mean ruta or trazado, in this case means trazado.

Image trace distorts the image
Image trace creates a transparent line around the image so when added to swatches, the image doesn't go together. There is a transparent line around the swatch

PDF Preview not available (24.0.1)
Despite "Create compatible PDF file" option checked, the PDF preview states it wasn't.

FIX pdf file saving
Fix the fact that you receive an error when you try to save over a .pdf with the same file name. Its been a problem for Multiple Editions.

Illustrator 2020 huge problems!
Mac OS Mojave 10.14.16
Illustrator 24.0.1.
Some problems and HUGE problems:
1) The saving to server (which is where we are supposed to save) is extremaly slow even with vector based files)
2) When opening a new file while another file is open, the file name is the right one, but on the screen view there is a duplicate of the other file that is open
3) While saving the changes for file in .ai format the file that was just before first in pdf-format, the program gives "Fatal error, could not save" and the whole file disappears from the server!!!! There's nothing left. If you are fortunate the file is open on screen and you can save it again with a new name - but if you don't f.ex. notice the "Error" note and close the file the whole file just disappears!! This is a HUGE problem and has to be fixed immediately.Mac OS Mojave 10.14.16

Objects sliding when switching between outline and preview
Most of the times I'm working with quite simple graphics (preparing already existing logos and graphics for printing).
Sometimes when switching from preview to outline view, and back, I notice that some objects aren't where they are supposed to be. In outline view they are at their supposed position, but in preview they are somewhere else. It isn't a big problem when I notice it happening - the problem is when I don't and print it like that. When I notice it, moving the object, pressing unite, or several other actions will make the object pop back to their right place (like in outline view).
Interestingly the graphics will be printed at the position where its located in preview view, and not in outline view, where it is supposed to be.
I'm not sure whether I'm making any sense. Tried looking for it happening to others, but didn't find anything similar. It's been happening to me in bot Adobe illustrator 2019 and 2020 as well in the past 6 years. It doesn't occur daily, but quite often to be really annoying.
I've attached 2 screenshots depicting the issue. If I had printed the graphics like that, the output would have been the one in the preview and not the outline view.

Part of text disappears when printing upside-down
I am printing a piece of art with text. When rotating the document upside down in the print dialogue window, the printed version lacks letters. It looks like only the first letter gets printed. This is not a printer issue either, tested printing from PDF and it worked fine.
See attached for the example. The right half is how it should be, left half is what comes out - small "B" is missing.1 vote -
Save as PDF in CC2020 cannot open with CC2014
I noticed if I was to save a PDF file in CC2020, a customer using CC2014 is unable to open it. I compared the PDF files to see how it is different.
If a PDF was saved using CC2014 it generates the colors like this:
[ /Separation /ATHLETIC#20GOLD /DeviceCMYK << /C0 [ 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 ]
But If a PDF was saved using CC2020 it generates the colors like this:
[/Separation/ATHLETIC#20GOLD/DeviceCMYK<</C0[0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0]Due to this settle difference, can this be the reason why the file is unable to open in CC2014?

Cannot save
Any file I try and save is appearing with file error, I have tried restarting illustrator but this is still happening.

Illustrator fundamentals
- When panning around in mid full screen view, defect stripes keeps appearing all over the screen. Disappears when zooming one time.
- Zoom should be zooming to position of mouse, but it zooms "all over the place" when close up.
- Pathfinder substract creates unnecessary amount of anchor points + gaps. Even with setting 0,001 in Pathfinfer options
This has been going on for years, and Adobe is informed about these fundamental bugs several times. Time to fix the fundamentals and clean up the bugs.

Illustrator 24.0.1 ignoring me when I enter a new dimension for my closed path with stroke
Hi all, I'm cross-posting here from the Adobe Community forums as suggested by someone who was able to reproduce this issue. I'm running Illustrator 24.0.1 on my 2015 Macbook Pro with MacOS Catalina 10.15.1. I actually just updated to Illustrator 24.0.1 to see if this problem would go away, but it still persists.
I'm currently trying to increase the height dimension of my closed path in the Transform panel by +0.0001 inch, or .03 points (trying to transform the height from 23.157 pt to 23.16 pt, to match two other closed paths). However, whenever I click the object, input the new dimension and hit Enter, and then deselect and reselect it, the dimensions are unchanged.
Is there a limit on how small a dimension change can be for objects? I'm not sure why this is happening.
Snap to Grid, Snap to Point, and Snap to Pixel are all off
Constrain Width and Height Proportions is off
Scale Corners and Scale Strokes & Effects make no difference checked or unchecked
I apologize if Properties Panel is the wrong category for the issue! Regardless of if I try it the Properties panel or the Transform panel, the dimension change still doesn't apply.

Effect 3D Rotate perspective error
With Effects/3D Rotate, Illustrator can't render a placed image using a high perspective value. The image is all distorted. See screenshots:

Thanks for reporting this issue, Illustrator Team really appreciate this.
To adjust the perspective, enter a value between 0 and 160 in the Perspective text box. A smaller angle is similar to a telephoto camera lens; a larger lens angle is similar to a wide-angle camera lens. A lens angle that is higher than 150 may result in objects extending beyond your point of view and appearing distorted
