1. Copy text from illustrator and paste into word pastes as image and not editable text

   Illustrator CC 22.1.
   Mack book pro MacOS high Sierra Version10.13.6.
   Microsoft Word Version16.23 (190309)

   Copy text from illustrator (Command C) and paste it into Word (Command V) using shortcuts on keyboard the text does not come in to word as editable text but as a picture that I cannot edit.

   I copy text from illustrator and past it into Word for editing and then past it back into Illustrator when I am done with the word editing. I do this for technical drawings, sketchbooks and any other 2D design and presentation work.
   Since 2011 until 2018 I was able to use my keyboard shortcuts to copy text from Illustrator and paste it into Word for editing and refining. This is a proses I do numerus times a day (sometimes hundreds) as this is part of my main workload. Like I said this used to work fine for many years. Since 2018 I have not been able to paste text into Word using the Command V shortcut. Since then the text gets pasted into Word as a picture that I cannot edit.
   I know it is possible to past the text into word by using the “paste” drop down menu and select Keep text only, but this is cumbersome and disrupts my workflow. I would like to use the keyboard shortcut (Command V) to past into word.
   Copying from word and pasting it back to Illustrator is no problem.

   Idea: make it possible to use shortcuts on keyboard to paste into word and it pastes as editable tex (Like I was Able to do before for many years)

   If you right click in word you should get a paste as text option.
   Can you please contact Microsoft support. Like most applications we do promise text in clipboard along with other formats like svg, metafile etc…
   It is for word to pick any of these clipboard formats and consume.

2. ALIGN not working correctly in Illustrator 23.0.3

   Ever since the latest update for Illustrator (23.0.3) Align does not work correctly. I've got 3 items selected; I click on the Align tab; use the "Align to" dropdown box and select "Align to Selection"; then click the "Horizontal Distribute Space" icon - but it distributes it across the page instead of just the THREE ITEMS I've selected.
   I've noticed other align issues over the last week or so but cannot give details like I did above because today I stopped my work so I can come out here an list my problem.
   There are so many bugs and issue with little things that used to work correctly. It is so frustrating for someone who spends their day working in this program. It makes my work go so much slower and just creates frustration.

4. If I have an illustrator file open, and then open a second, I can't view the 2nd file even if it's the one selected

   I am having a consistent issue that any time I open a second file in illustrator, the view is always on the first file, even if I have the 2nd file selected. I have not found a way to resolve this so I can't copy and paste between files!

5. 23.0.3 keyboard shortcuts stop working

   after roughly 15 minutes of designing, my illustrator keyboard shortcuts no long work. When I select a shortcut (eg command z, or command s), I simply get a system error sound, but no action. This is true for ALL shortcuts

   i am then forced to use the menu items, or restart illustrator to keep working normally.

7. In Variables - "Update Data set " does NOT work: NOT reacting on changing DATA from the Source File. case Number ADB-6495411-N0N4

   In Variables - "Update Data set " does NOT work: NOT reacting on changing DATA from the Source File. _ The same source file. The same location of the source file. Variable name the same. Data changed BUT "Update Data set " do not react, forcing users to reattached and re-link all variables... BIG ISSUE.
   The same for CSV or for XML data types.
   Please fix ASAP

8. AI smartobject doesn't open from Photoshop

   This is an old bug THAT IS BACK!!! Double clicking an AI smart object in photoshop opens Illuistrator but it doesn't open the object. You have to close Illustrator completely and do it over again until it works.

9. Illustrator problem

   This is not ethical. I know that. But I want to publish this video. Just explain to me why these problems are caused. I've never seen any logical explanations until this time. And that makes me sad.
   Illustrator is very clumsy, slow, has bad performance, interface bad and exhausting.
   Example, I can't easily apply effects on an object or text. Restricts me with everything. These are very simple and the features that should be. I'm sure a lot of people think that.

   Affinity is small size, more practical and user-friendly, faster and cheaper.
   Many of your competitors come up with more innovative features. I hope you don't lose leadership. Once upon a time, Nokia was a world giant

   I ended the subscription with you. I hope you won't lose any other customers.

10. No display of document when opened in ADOBE.

    Document does not display when I scan to computer and then open it. However, when I've attached to an email, I can open and view it. I have a Lenovo, so its not just a MAC issue

12. When copying/pasting an item(s) the color saturates

    BUG! When copying and pasting shapes/images/etc in illustrator the colors over saturate (see my example ) In the example its very clearly over saturating the red and yellow color as well as the images. PLEASE FIX!!!

13. copy and paste only works sporadically with Wacom tablet. All AI versions up to CC 23.0.2

    From at least version CS6 to CC 23.0.2 copy/paste when using a Wacom tablet only functions some of the time and I can't figure out a pattern to the behaviour. Using a mouse on the same system had no such problems. This is either using shortcut keys or the Edit menu commands. Problem on Win 7 Pro, although I've heard reports of it occurring on other O/S. This may be a partner to the "sticky rotate centre" issue reported elsewhere and which also occurs on my system.

14. Artboard Navigation control at bottom of screen v 23.0.2 (newest update)

    Artboard Navigation control at bottom of screen shows up in the middle of the the screen when I use my larger screen. When I drag the window to my small screen and then back to the large screen, the artboard navigation control is back at the bottom. If I open a new file, the navigation control is back in the middle of the screen. This is version 23.0.2 (dowloaded and installed 3/6/19)

16. Paste in Place gets object pasted into its original layer and not a selected one

    Copy an object (Cmd + C), then create a new layer, select it and Paste it in Place in the new layer — the object gets placed in tis original layer instead.

    The 'Paste Remembers Layers' option in the Layers panel’s flyout menu regulates this behavior. When it is checked — Illustrator will honor the original layer of a copied artwork and paste it in the same layer, ignoring the selection of a layer.

    However, if disabling this option does not help — please comment.

    Illustrator 23.0.2 does not paste into the center of the art board, despite having already centered the art board in the window.

    AMD Radeon R5 M355 driver were installed from 2016

20. Gradient tool issues

    1. Handles on on object's Gradient Annotator are difficult to adjust once a gradient has been dropped. Usually, handles simply don't respond. User needs to start from scratch and create a brand new gradient rather than make small adjustments to existing ones.

    2. Repeated but not consistent bug: adjusting one gradient causes changes to unrelated gradients on same document.

    3. Live preview of gradient tool is prohibitively slow, esp when gradient is anywhere near an existing Effect.

    FIX: Allow us to toggle the preview effect.

    1. Dropping a color onto the gradient slider, color creates a new color-point onto slider, immediately next to existing color-point, rather than dropping color onto the existing color-point, creating extra color points. Usually happens further than the desired color, usually black or white leftover from default gradient. See attachment.
