  1. Artwork in Clipping mask doesn't resize

Illustrator 2019 on PC Windows 10

When I resize artwork sometimes anything that's inside a clipping mask doesn't resize. The shape I created for the mask resizes, but the artwork 'inside' stays static.

If I undo and retry a few times it will eventually work. I'm using the 'black' arrow to select the object and resize with the handles. I'm not using either of the white arrows. So I don't think it's a selection issue on my end.

  2. Objects in a clipping mask do not respect "Object Selection By Path Only".

    Reproduction steps:

    1. Draw a filled shape.
    2. Use Draw Inside to draw another filled shape inside it.
    3. In the 'Selection And Anchor Display' pane of the prefs, ensure that 'Object Selection By Path Only' is checked.
    4. Click and drag with the Selection or Direct Selection tools in a part of the first object that does not contain the second object. Note that nothing gets selected unless you drag over the first object's path.
    5. Click and drag with one of those tools in a part of the first object that does contain the second object. Do not cross any of the paths…

  3. Rasterization with clipping mask removes half of the stroke

  5. Clipping masks release

When I reopen a document with clipping masks the masks are released. It is very frustrating remaking all photos each time I open to make edits.

  7. A clip group containing a compound path that borders an artboard often gets stuck as selected

A clip group containing a compound path that borders an artboard often gets stuck as selected. Scaling the clip group (then undoing) causes the group to become unstuck as selected.

  9. Stroked Clipping Masks get unclipped on file reopening

Using a clipping mask on photos works, but when I save the file, close it and reopen it, the photos are no longer clipped, but they're grouped with the mask/path instead. I then have to ungroup and reclip them every time I open it. It's happened several times. I should also note that I'm using a stroke color on the path/masks. There's one photo that isn't following the same behavior and it's working properly, but there's no discernible difference between it and the rest of the photos I'm using, whether it be size, mode or whatever.

  10. Selecting all objects on layer via Layers panel not recognized by Intertwine

    AI 27.5
    Go to Layers panel
Click target button for Objects layer (to select all paths on that layer)
Choose Object > Intertwine... note that Make is gray
Instead, in Layers panel click to select first object and Shift + click to select last object. Object > Intertwine > Make is available

  11. When exporting an intertwined object to PDF the selection trace is preserved in the saved file

    Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400)
    Illustrator 27.0.1

The reproduction scenario is as following:
    1. Create two overlaying rings (I used pathfinder to make the hole in the middle).
    2. Select both objects
    3. Go to Object-Intertwine-Make and select the target area
    4. Save in PDF

Even if the Flatten transparency was selected (as suggested in https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/45826375-intertwine-bug-when-export-as-pdf-x4 ), the tiny selection trace in the intertwined area can be viewed (see the attached file)

This issue is fixed in the Prerelease version (available in Creative Cloud Desktop Prerelease section).

Intertwine objects now get treated differently when expanded, and an extra copy get placed underneath the stack of clipped zones to eliminate seams PDF viewers display.

  12. Measurement of a clipping path object bug on PC (Illustrator 26.0.1)

I have a logo which uses a mesh gradient inside a clipping path. On my Mac the X and Y measurements relate to the object, ignoring the elements that are outside of the clipping path. When I share this with a colleague who is using the same version of Illustrator on a PC the measurements are different and relate to all the elements in the object and not just the clipping path? Any ideas?
