  1. When group is selected the "Make pixel perfect" option is missing in the proportes panel

    The "Make pixel perfect" option for selected objects is missing when they are grouped, in the previous version it was easily accessible from the top right corner icons now have to dig in the Object menu.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.
    We are moving this under review, meanwhile what you can do is use Right Click > Make Pixel Perfect or turn on control panel from Window > Control.

  2. I have the latest Illustrator CC 2018, it Lags horribly moments after launch and then crashes, I can't get work done, I have the latest imac

    Illustrator cc 2017 was perfect, 2018 is a nightmare!

  3. Can´t save an open document

    Illustrator CC v 21.1.0 (64bit)

    When I am working a current, open document and I click Save in the File menu, Illustrator say´s it can´t save because the file is open. Well, obviously it is open, because I am working on it!

    I have to Save As... and rename the file, (I usually add the date and time).

    This is obvioulsy just a a little bug in the new update. Let me know if I can help.

    I attach the message I get.

    Actually... Now Illustrator has frozen! So I can´t attach the message.

  4. Brush edge dissapears. Can't see the shape of my brush. Randomly.

    Cannot see the outline of my brush. Randomly it dissapears. It would be great if I was into random looks to what I do. But I'm not.

    In fact, I'll hazard a guess that not many people paying close to £50/month are very into randomly varying results.

  5. Incorrect file sizes

    Importing work into After Effects adds 6 pixels to the file size — very generous. This software keeps on giving.

  6. most fonts not rendering

    I have to continually uninstall and reinstall 75% of my fonts! They show up in the panel, but do not render when selected. This is way beyond aggravating and is taking up hours of my time daily.
    These are fonts on my hard drive, not typekit or any other font service. using Windows 10 and Illustrator CC 2018 (happened intermittently with 2017, now it's everytime I open Illustrator or let it sit open for more than a few hours)

  7. Illustrator freezes all the time

    I am not able to use Illustrator at all. I have updated to the 2018 version. Every time I want to create new project or open existing one the program freezes. No matter if I have GPU Performance option on or off.

  8. Saving PDF Security override by gmail

    Dear sir or madam,

    I've noticed as i saved PDF in CS6 to send to a Client and i used password protection with no permissions (printing, copying....)

    And the thing is, if you open the email att. in this case My protected PDF in gmail preview - you can print it with no problems. And if you print to a PDF file, you get the same PD minus the Password protection.

    I think this could be a big issue.

    So i see google's gmail now as an easy fool proof password hack tool.

  9. When clicked on file>export, the menus closes.

    Operating System: MAC High Sierra

    When clicking on export under FIle menu the menu closes, This is not expected as this might happen by mistake before the sub menu has opened.

    This is also not consistent with photoshop file>export.
    In photoshop when clicked on export menu under file, the menu will not get closed.

  10. Illustrator CC 2017 crashes computer on macOS 10.13 High Sierra

    I didn't know there were serious compatibility issues between Adobe CC and macOS 10.13 High Sierra until after I upgraded.

    Within seconds of launching Illustrator it freezes my entire machine and my only option is a hard reboot.

    Please provide a status update on when this issue will be fixed. I rely on CC for my job and will have to migrate back to 10.12 Sierra in the interim.

  11. Image File open but not showing up

    When using the latest version of Illustrator cc I open vector images the image file opens however it is not visible, I do get visibility briefly when the file is shut down or resized from maximised within the program. It is only a fleeting view and disappears again when reopened or maximised?

  12. Many Many issues with Illustrator 2018

    1. Ever since I've updated to Illustrator 2018, the program is always lagging and becomes non-responsive. Something simple like selecting "T" for a new text line will stall my program. I've attached my computer specs.

    2. The alt shortcut for brush tool no longer selects color with the eye drop tool. I have to manually select the eyedropper, then switch back to the brush tool which is very frustrating when I need to do this hundreds of times a day!

    3. The startup time has increased dramatically. Showing a blank screen for a couple minutes until the illustrator home screen finally appears. Also…

  13. "Preview in Browser" resets to Safari

    "Preview in Browser" option in save for web window is resets to Safari everyday(After restart). Several times I tried selecting Google Chrome and set as default in browser menu, but chrome is getting removed from the browser menu automatically after I restart the Illustrator.

    Please contact Apple support. macOS controls the default browser setting. You can validate the default browser by double clicking any html file on your system.

  14. Effects on objects same and different colour issues

    Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
    Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

    As per video, when setting multiple objects with the same colour (Global or not) and then applying any Effect, there seems to be no Effect applied where it worked in previous versions of Illustrator. There also seems to be no effects sometimes on objects with different colours.

  15. Colour changes on Multiple Objects in Color Panel issues

    Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
    Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

    As per video, when trying to change colour of multiple objects in the Color Panel when colours aren’t set to Global, under CMYK settings I enter 0,0,0,0, hit Enter/Return on my keyboard, and nothing changes.

    When the multiple objects all have colours that are set to Global, the Color Panel has other odd issues. Selecting CMYK, greyscale brings up no settings, but RGB, HSB does, though odd settings show up.

  16. Align to Artboard: X and Y position not established within the active artboard

    Illustrator CC 22.0.1

    Align to Artboard: X and Y position not established within the active artboard but retains the global X and Y position.

    When selecting and copying the X position of vertex (A) on active artboard (A), then activating another artboard (B) and selecting vertex (B). When pasting the X position for vertex (A) from artboard (A) to vertex (B) on artboard (B) it pastes the global X position. The previous version retained the local artboard X position when align to artboard was activated. Which is very helpful in maintaining consistency between artboards.

  17. Artboard edge shows behind an object of the same size as the artboard

    1. CC 22.0.1 (32-bit)
    2. I'm creating a favicon, I started out at 164 px by 164 px and used Shift + Alt to resize it to 50 px by 50 px. Then I changed the size of the Artboard to 50 px by 50 px.
    3. I expected everything to line up and look right.
    4. A small white edge of the Artboard is visible on the right side of the drawing

  18. "CANT" ERROR

    Have updated to newest version of Illustrator and now get this warning on launch. Program does open but with no preset preferences available.

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but there is no improvement.

  19. Font name not suggested when typing in

    When I want to change a typeface to another and I start typing in the name, instead of loading a list of installed fonts related to the characters being typed, nothing happens. No suggestions loaded at all.

    Hi Love,

    sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. Can you please click on the little rectangle in the font name (below search button) and see the option selected?

    If it is “Search First Work Only”, change it to “Search Entire Font Name” and it will solve the issue.

  20. "New Document" window doesn't scale on Windows 10

    On Windows 10, the "New Document" window (reachable from the "Get Started" window by pressing "Create new...", for example) doesn't scale according to the scaling set in Windows display settings.
    Set to 250% (Windows recommendation), the window looks fine.
    Set to smaller values, the content doesn't fit in the frame. See attachment (200%).
