Randomly deletes recent changes.
Latest version is extremely buggy. Randomly jumps back two steps in the undo queue, erasing entirely all work. Redo does not work.

Opening Illustrator files brings up the Text import options box and then a blank file after updating to the current version?
I cannot open any existing Illustrator files without the Text import options box (As shown in the screen shot) opening. If I click cancel the box goes but the file doesn't open. If I click ok it opens a blank file but with the correct file name.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times and the same happens every time? Please help!

cursor lag cc2019
Heavy cursor lag on arrow tools in cc2019. Tracking speed matches fine system wide, but is slowed / delayed in Ai.

attributes note window loses keyboard focus
os x high sierra
illustrator 2017-2019when entering a note in the attribute panel, the window loses focus and instead of typing the note illustrator execute keyboard commands.
example:
I select an object.
Type in a note in the note window
it worksselect a different object.
place cursor in the note window. the cursor blinks as it's ready for typing
start typing but nothing happens in the window, instead keyboard presses execute whatever shortcuts are pressedworkaround.
select object
hide attribute tab
reopen attribute tab
notes work again.but then select a new object and notes stops working.

23.0.1 Consistent Crash - Trying to record a transparency adjustment in an Action
I'm using an iMac with Mojave 10.14 and Illustrator 23.0.1.
I'm getting a crash while recording an action with a grouped object selected, I try to edit a transparency via the Properties menu. The crash is within one to two seconds of hitting enter on this change, consistently. Seems like it's another part of the memory leak that's happening?
I'm rolling back to 22.1 until this is resolved.

Applying Crop Filter causes illustrator to crash
Hi, I've been trying to use the crop tool from Pathfinder today and every time it's very slow, then freezes, then crashes.. I've got the latest update.. What can be the reason?

View Using GPU not available
My animated Zoom has been working and then i got a crash with the "Not enough memory" error coming up and ever since my Animated Zoom hasn't been working. Now when i've done the latest update (23.0.1) i can't select View Using GPU and the animated zoom is not working still.
iMac 27" 3.2GHz Inel i5
OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3

3d extrude and bevel problem
I am using windows 10 and Illustrator wont do a 3d extrude or bevel and says not enough memory when there us enough memory.

Can't resize text, objects, or images anymore using the selection tool
When I click on any object, text, or image and try to resize it just by clicking and dragging the anchor points, it doesn't resize anymore like it used to. It just moves the object. This is on a Mac in Illustrator CC 2019 23.0.1

Distort objects using an envelope does not work
Working on iMac with Ai 2019.
The Envelope Distort tool gives this message:
The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error.
Will not even work on a simple rectangle, or by selecting two simple rectangles.2 votes -
New update (23.0.1) shows Home screen instead of my actual file until I press F
Most of the times, when I open an AI file I can't see my actual artboard until I press F (Toggle Screen Mode). Once I switch the screen mode it shows a weird red color in the artboard (too fast to capture).

Objects behind clipping mask cannot move outside of drawing area
What is the point in a clipping mask if the objects behind it cannot fall off the drawing area? May as well use Microsoft Paint to be honest

CMYK Spectrum on color tab looks broken
On the latest Illustrator update the CMYK Spectrum looks broken on the color tab. At first I thought it was a display problem however comparing other Adobe apps and even in illustrator color picker there is nothing wrong.

Illustrator issues, SVG only?
When using CC (updated to v. 23), illustrations appear distorted when rendered with stylesheet. During troubleshooting, I open a colleague's SVG illustration in CS6 as well as CC v.23 and compare. See attachments. CC distorts both content size and artboard size. We never had this issue with CS.

"open file"
Illustrator won't open more than one file.
With version 23.0.1, Illustrator will permit to open only one single file. The first file can be opened by any method, any subsequent file can only be opened using "File/Open" command. Using Windows Explorer or Drag&Drop does not work! and will freeze Illustrator; ending the application is only possible using the Windows Task Manager.
I'm running Illustrator CC (23.0.1 64-bit) ond Windows 10 Enterprise (10.0.16299).THX for fixing this!

command+option+shift to duplicate an element crash Illustrator every time
Illustrator CC 23.0.1 R3 crash every time I use the combination of "command+option+shift" to duplicate an element :/
