  1. Gradient panel - Angle tab flashing and temporarily freezing program

    This is a new problem today - I have restarted Adobe and my mac and no fix.

    Summary -

    I have my panels displayed on my UI - The gradient angle tab (even when no gradient is applied) begins to flash repeatedly and quickly - This causes the program to freeze for the second it is flashing.

    Further, once it has completed flashing it changes my tool randomly - I have had it change from move to artboard, from shape to pen, it seems random. Also the I have tried a different keyboard so it is not a bug in…

  2. 23.0.1 Windows 10: Toggle leading up and down in Character Palette unexpected behaviour

    When the leading is set to (Auto), using the up/down arrow UI buttons in the character palette to change the leading results in weird leading sizes. Toggling up from Auto using the up arrow in the UI produces a leading of 1 pt. Toggling down from Auto produces a leading of 1295 pts!

  3. font finder/Missing font box keeps loading and unable to activate missing fonts

    Find Font box not working. Example i am missing fonts and when i open that menu it shows the fonts used in the document but the missing ones just have a loading circle next to it and it never stops.

    Also the Missing font box. When i do have the fonts and want to Activate them they will never activate, It just loads for 10mins and stops with out loading the fonts.

    We are not able to reproduce this issue at our end. Can you please let us know if you are still facing this issue? Also, is the Creative Cloud running fine on your machine when this issue happens?

  4. Leading bug (Character panel)

    There seems to be a leading bug in the latest version. The leading automatically created is usually too spaced vertically, or creating a text area creates pseudo-Latin lines of text that are on top of each other.

  5. Uneven stroke

    Newest version of Illustrator has now changed my .001 cut size of a stroke in some places from a clean thin line to a jagged mess. Some of the former .001 lines are still unchanged? These are shared with clients and look horrible!
    Running on Windows 10.

  6. Zoomed in Home Screen? Why

    The home screen in my Adobe Illustrator is 'zoomed-in' and it's not the same size as other Adobe apps. I've attached a screen shot of Illustrator vs photoshop.

  7. Unable to save to Illustrator 8 legacy format

    Illustrator 23.0.1 (64-bit)
    Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64

    File saved as Illustrator 8 cannot be reopened by Illustrator CC 2019 or earlier versions.

    Create simple file (can be blank, but this doesn't show the full problem.
    Save as Illustrator 8 format.
    Attempt to ope.
    Error message (see screenshot) is displayed.
    Click OK.
    File then opens, but has no content.

  8. Adjustment of a gradient in Live Paint Bucket (K)

    In Illustrator CC2019 the Adjustment of a gradient in Live Painting Bucket (K) does not work.
    When in Live Painting Bucket (K) i apply the gradient, then i can not adjust it manually.

  9. Guides dissapear when selected

    In a new document (CC2019) with multiple artboards, the guides dissapear when I select them. They reappear when unselected.

  10. Illustrator wont show correct color of png imported

    Since I have updated to the newest version I can't seem to upload pngs into Illustrator. They show as if they are negative. I run on a MacBook Pro Mac OS Mojave Version 10.14.1. Illustrator 23.0.1

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  11. Randomly deletes recent changes.

    Latest version is extremely buggy. Randomly jumps back two steps in the undo queue, erasing entirely all work. Redo does not work.

  12. Opening Illustrator files brings up the Text import options box and then a blank file after updating to the current version?

    I cannot open any existing Illustrator files without the Text import options box (As shown in the screen shot) opening. If I click cancel the box goes but the file doesn't open. If I click ok it opens a blank file but with the correct file name.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times and the same happens every time? Please help!

    Heavy cursor lag on arrow tools in cc2019. Tracking speed matches fine system wide, but is slowed / delayed in Ai.

  14. attributes note window loses keyboard focus

    os x high sierra
    illustrator 2017-2019

    when entering a note in the attribute panel, the window loses focus and instead of typing the note illustrator execute keyboard commands.

    example:
    I select an object.
    Type in a note in the note window
    it works

    select a different object.
    place cursor in the note window. the cursor blinks as it's ready for typing
    start typing but nothing happens in the window, instead keyboard presses execute whatever shortcuts are pressed

    workaround.
    select object
    hide attribute tab
    reopen attribute tab
    notes work again.

    but then select a new object and notes stops working.

  15. 23.0.1 Consistent Crash - Trying to record a transparency adjustment in an Action

    I'm using an iMac with Mojave 10.14 and Illustrator 23.0.1.

    I'm getting a crash while recording an action with a grouped object selected, I try to edit a transparency via the Properties menu. The crash is within one to two seconds of hitting enter on this change, consistently. Seems like it's another part of the memory leak that's happening?

    I'm rolling back to 22.1 until this is resolved.

  16. Applying Crop Filter causes illustrator to crash

    Hi, I've been trying to use the crop tool from Pathfinder today and every time it's very slow, then freezes, then crashes.. I've got the latest update.. What can be the reason?

  17. View Using GPU not available

    My animated Zoom has been working and then i got a crash with the "Not enough memory" error coming up and ever since my Animated Zoom hasn't been working. Now when i've done the latest update (23.0.1) i can't select View Using GPU and the animated zoom is not working still.

    iMac 27" 3.2GHz Inel i5
    OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
    Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1024MB

  19. 3d extrude and bevel problem

  20. Uniting shapes has unexpected result

    Came across a weird file/result that co-workers were able to replicate.

    1) Mojave 10.14.1 and Illustrator 23.0.1
    2) Selecting two shapes/pathfinder window/unite
    3) Letter p remaining knocked out
    4) Letter p featuring a slash across the top
    5) I've attached the file before uniting with pathfinder

    I was able to workaround by simply not uniting but thought ya'll might be interested. Thanks!
