    CRASHING VERY OFTEN.
    I am hard Illustrator user, for over 20 years. For my surprise, this October version crashes almost every day. I reinstalled the sofware in one Dell XPS 8700 Machine and in a brand new Samsung X40 Notebook. In both cases AI still crashing suddenly. Hope you Dev Team guys work ******* this, becaus one of the reasons to use AI was its stability. No more...

  2. Illustrator randomly fails on select-paste

    23.0.1 64-bit on Win 10 Xeon with GPU accel. Selection, copy paste text fails randomly. Copy seems to work but all paste options grayed out. Yet I can paste to NotePad and other apps. This has been going on for over a year. Have to double click or paste to another doc first. Please fix!

  3. Paths Previewing Very Oddly

    Paths with a stroke color and no fill are still filling random corners within the shape. I've rebuilt the shape, and checked for redundant nodes, but neither has fixed the problem. To make is worse, this is happening to to connection points at random (sometimes it has a fill, sometimes it doesn't). Definitely a bug, and a very major one.

    Also, copying the artwork into a new document, or even into InDesign, does not fix it. Placing the artwork in InDesign actually makes the preview glitch out. It's as if Adobe gave CC 2018 a lobotomy!

  4. Properties Panel and Transform Panel measurements should be exactly the same not rounded in the Properties Panel

    Properties Panel and Transform Panel measurements should be exactly the same not rounded in the Properties Panel.

    Properties Panel rounds measurements to .000 decimal places but the transform panel allows .0000 four decimal places. This is inconsistent and is confusing to my team trying to double check our files for accuracy.

  5. update

    Come on now! I am in AI and open a file to work on when a popup appears telling me that a new version of AI is available. However, when the update 'button' is selected nothing happens! There used to be a check for updates under Help yet that does not exist anymore. When it did exist it worked. So what is gong on now? More frustration with AI!

  6. Illustrator v23.0.1 will not open files from the desktop action. Must open via Open Menu.

    I'm having a minor problem opening AI files from the desktop with this new version. It won't show the document, and only shows the launch screen, and there I see the icon for my document, but even when clicking on that it won't load. I have to quit AI, relaunch and from there open my document via Illustrator's Open menu.

  7. PDF export no longer represents brushes used correctly

    I have used some vector brushes in illustrato (see highlights). When file saved as a pdf the brushes no longer correctly represent what's in the file, they seem to lose a lot of their transparency. I sell the mentioned brushes on exchange (HighlightsandShadows Brushes) as well so I would like this fixed. Both viewing the pdf file and opening in ai show the wrong results.
    This problem has occurred since upgrading both mac os and illustrator to latest

    However if i open the ai file in shop it looks as it should.

  8. Workspace on start up gathers to home screen instead of second screen!

    Saved custom Workspace on start up gathers to home screen instead of second screen! This has only happened since the release of Illustrator 2019 - which has been the buggiest illustrator I've dealt with - horrible results to simple functionality that has never had problems in the past. very disappointed.

  9. Fonts issue

    Illustrator often hangs on large documents. The same document outlined opens fast with no issues. There is something going on with fonts in 23.0.1 - Photoshop also has problems with fonts. I'm on a Windows 10 Pro.

  10. SVG text export inconsistent failure 23.0.1

    On SVG export, one text node receives ID as expected, the other is wrapped in a <g> and given the id that should be on the text node (which has no id).

    I don't know how to produce this result—it's happening intermittently in a large existing file. I was only able to whittle it down to an example, but this system won't let me attach an illustrator file (lol)

  14. spell check english

    My Illustrator is set to default language English USA but it always does spell check in Spanish. I make sure that it is checked for English in the character tab, but even after changing it to English, my spell check goes back to Spanish. I am running Illustrator CC 2019, 23.0

  15. Batch exporting ai>psd does not work in latest Illustrator update.

    Batch exporting does not work in latest update. The images appear to process, and as each image is processed, there is a message that a photoshop file is being created. However, the end result files are the same ai files that I began with. Using Mac OS 10.14.

  16. Freeform Gradients won't load in complex object groups/compound paths

    In Illustrator 2019, freeform gradients were unable to render in complex compound paths. I was attempting to add a freeform gradient within a compound path/grouped object set of leaves (about 20) of various shapes and sizes. I had used compond paths to add a freeform gradient to two objects previously (although with a few bugs - see bug titled "Illustrator 2019 Freeform Gradient and compund paths not quite right" in Other...), expecting the gradient to render.   18. New update is distorting character text

    I'm running Mac Mojave 10.14.1, and downloaded the latest CC 2019 update. I have used a paid for monogram font in illustrator for over 5 years with no issues until this recent download. Now there are distortions in several areas... Is there a fix for this??

  20. Unable to activate fonts because "Not signed in" even though I am signed in!

    I am trying to open an Illustrator file that has two fonts which are not installed on my computer.

    When I open the file, a dialog comes up and I click the "Find Fonts" button. However, it gives me an error saying that I am not signed in (see attachment "not signed in").

    I am not able to click the Help menu option because the Find Font dialog window does not allow me to focus on the main window.

    When I close the Find Font dialog, I check the help menu to discover that I am, in fact signed in!…
