1. Unselctable and undo glitch

   When I go to select a shape or text item sometimes the bounding box disappears. Even when I go to show bounding box (command + Shift + B) the issue isn't resolved. I don't do anything different and it seems to happen randomly. I have to restart illustrator to fix it but sometimes that doesn't.

   Once the bounding box disappears I cannot track the type and if I move an item it goes back to its org place.

   Additionally, when I hit undo rather than going back one action it will go back 4 or 5 actions. This only happens once I have the selection issue.

   I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe with no luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled high sierra 10.13.3 with no luck.

2. Opening Files Problem

   Not sure what this message means. It started last week.
   I would try to open a file, this warning box would pop up, I would press ok and half of my job is missing. Then i would restart illustrator and try it again. Sometimes it takes me 5 times restarting illustrator to get the files to open correctly.

3. Brush settings revert to older ones

   Literally the most illogical system. If you change one part of a brush your customizing it reverts to the older one. Worked with this for a couple years and forgot how disappointing it was. MAKE THE PAINTBRUSH TOOL MORE USER FRIENDLY.

4. SVG export for screens distorted

   Vectors getting quite distorted creating SVGs of logos even with 5 decimal places and no minify. I've had to copy and paste into Sketch then export SVGs from there, not ideal at all.

5. Problem with snap / smart guides

   Illustrator 22.1, Max OSX High Sierra 10.13.3

   The smart guides are always a little off, unless I zoom a lot.

   For example, when I want to cut a path at an intersection, with CC2018, the cut is always a little off.

   It happens with many other actions: moving anchor points, clicking on a path end point to continue drawing, adjusting tangents... the smart guides show the correct point, but the action snaps to something else.

   See the example below, where I'm trying to continue that red line.

6. TorqExtension.aip error

   When opening Illustrator CC, I get this error on launch:

   "The procedure entry point ?getAvailableLocales@Collator@icu@@SAPEBVLocale@2@AEAH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library icui18n.dll."

   This is followed by an error:

   "Error loading plugins.
   TorqExtension.aip"

   Please advise how to resolve these errors..

7. Colors for child items in Layers panel don’t get updated when a color of their parent layer is changed

   If you have a layer twirled open with a custom layer color and you switch to a new layer color the child objects don't change color in the layer panel. They do show up if you twirl up and down the layer contents.

8. loop glitch

   when i draw a loop (or any curved line) with my wacom pen or mouse there is a 50% chance a weird ( I really dont know how to describe it, photos attached) extra color area and if I outline the stroke it stays that way. I just want a regular old stroke to stay the width I chose for it. its very time consuming to go through every loop and tweak it just slightly so the extra stuff goes away.

   i'm using illustrator cc 22.1 on an imac 10.13.3 but had the problem before on my old macbook pro (can't remember if it was a cs6 problem too)

9. black screen problem

   When creating a new document or opening an existing document in Illustrator, I get a black screen (see attached). I have to resize the window to be able to work. This is not ok.
   Version 22.1, MacOS 10.13.3, MacBook Pro with external monitor as main screen.

11. Computer restarted and I lost all unsaved work in Illustrator

    Usually I get some sort of message that tells me I have unsaved work that was recovered but this time I did not. Illustrator wasn't even showing the most recent files to open. Using Illustrator CC version 22.0.1

12. Illustrator File opens to Work/Learn Screen

    I have Illustrator CC and after the most recent update, almost every time I open a file in Illustrator after turning on my computer, it opens the file but the Work/Learn screen is still up.

    I can see my file's layers in the layers panel in the bottom right corner but the screen doesn't show it. I can click around and it's saying I'm selecting things but I can't get the Work/Learn screen off so I have to restart Illustrator over and over again until I can get it to work.

13. Unembed for Black and White Bitmap

    Adobe Illustrator 22.1
    macOS High Sierra 10.13.3

    The Unembed button is grayed out for Black & White Bitmap images. The workaround is to Rasterize as Grayscale but this is leading to unexpected results. Parts of my images are disappearing, please fix the bug and add this feature.

14. Exporting Issue

    Whenever I go to export a file, the exported image shows a non existent image/layer that is not in or showing on the document when open.

    The first image below shows what I export from illustrator, the second is what I screenshot inside the file, aka what I'm trying to have as the exported image.

    If anyone has a solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated if you can help out a guy with no ideas on how to fix it.

15. Free Transform Tool hidden under Puppet Warp in toolbar

    Illustrator CC 2018 22.1.0

    The Free Transform Tool is no hidden under the Puppet Wrap Tool. The Free Transform Tool should be the default tool. The Puppet Transform Tool should be the one which is hidden.

    In a typical day we use the Free Transform Tool quite frequently, while we almost never use the Puppet Wrap Tool. I do not speak for everyone, but only for our design studio and in my personal experience.

    Before someone posts something about keeping the bounding box visible, please be aware that to remove as much useless clutter from our drawings while editing an object we almost always keep the following hidden: the Bounding Box and Corner Widget.

    Hiding these two items create efficiencies in our drawing routine and removes unneeded clutter when editing objects.

    Corner roundness can be edited in the control bar and bounding box can be revealed only when needed using the Free Transform Tool.

    By default these should be hidden for power users (my opinion). They can be turned on if needed by other users.

16. Transform panel units different than Properties panel's Transform section

    Transform panel reads in inches as it should but in the properties panel the transform panel shows points. Latest version of Illustrator CC2018, Windows 7. Also if the values are unlinked to resize only 1 dimension both still change.

19. Radial gradient generates broken CSS

    Illustrator CC 22.1. To reproduce, create a rectangle with fill set to any radial gradient. Name the rectangle, open CSS Properties window. Observe the generated CSS:

    There are 3 problems here:

    1. On line 8 of the CSS (the legacy IE -ms-filter rule), the semicolon is inside the double quotes instead of outside, making it invalid.
    2. In the legacy IE "-ms-filter" and "filter" rules, lines 8 and 14, Style is misspelled as "Stlye".
    3. How would an alpha filter be equivalent to a radial gradient in legacy IE versions in the first place?
