  1. Artwork moves with Artboard even with layers locked.

    Not sure if this has already been addressed. I just became aware of this site. I am using CC 2018, on my Mac running 10.13.3. Usually if I lock the layers I can move the artboard independently, not anymore.

  2. Issue moving Illustrator to a different virtual desktop space

    iMac
    MacOS 10.13.3
    Illustrator CC 2018 v22.0.1

    I am using several virtual desktops (Apple calls them Spaces) and I am used to being able to move application windows to different desktops by dragging open windows to the top of the screen, which reveals the available desktops. However, when I try to drag Illustrator to a different desktop the action fails, leaving a transparent grey window over the whole screen. Logging out and back in again clears the grey window. I will try to make a video to show what happens.

  3. Artboard glitch when undo and redo

    When I use the hot keys to undo and redo (Ctr+Z ; Ctrl+Shift+Z) more than once at a time, the entire artboard freezes. When I open the file again, all of my work is gone.

  4. Drop shadow bug on modal dialogs

    Modal dialogs in Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows are rendering incorrectly for me.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  5. compound path mask bug

    When a compound path serves as a mask AND has it's own color, objects inside it can not be selected with the Direct Selection-tool. Instead, the mask itself is selected. This is different from single-path masks, where objects inside can be selected with the Direct Selection-tool (even when the mask has it's own color).

    In attached file, both masks contain the same purple rectangle. In the 'g' (a compound path), the rectangle cannot be selected with the Direct Selection tool. In the 'K', it can. Both masks are colored.

  6. LAUNCH ERROR ISSUE - Google Drive File Stream

    Drive File Stream interfere with Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 on Windows 7 SP1 x64 bit.

    After installing Google Drive File Stream I get lunch error during Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 (icui18n.dll) and program runs with limited functionality.

    When uninstalling the google drive file stream everything works just fine.

    I shared the same issue with the drive file stream, so i just hope that it will not end up pointing fault one on another. Both applications are important to workflow.

    Here is some good news. We users who have confirmed that the issue is resolved when you install the latest version of Google File Stream.
    Please update to Google Drive File Stream 26.1.37.2022 or later

  7. Illustrator | Free Template Download Error

    1-Adobe Illustrator CC 2018
    2-Trying to download free template from print tab
    3-I expected the template to download like all the other templates I have downloaded
    4-I got an error message

    As you can see, I can't figure out how in the &&^&* to get this issue resolved. HOW, before my head explodes, do you restore THESE icons or whatever the **** they're called back to their original settings???????????????

  9. Illustrator CC 2018 - CEP on Windows, unable to debug

    Currently I am unable to take more than 1-2 steps in CC extension code when debugging with the Chrome browser attached remotely. When I do so the CC Extension panel clears itself, and the browser does a refresh. I do not see this problem on MacOS.

  10. I don't see wich item a selected

    It's not possible when I selected an item to see wich item I selected.
    Also every transform option / scale option is not available.
    My gideluines dispears and come back when they want ...

  11. Type On Path bug with OpenType-SVG fonts

    • Apply a text to a curved path.
    • Apply a color font like Trajan to the curved text. This results in incorrect glyph rotation.
    • The rotation issue is no visible with CFF glyphs.

  13. Unable to Crop to Artboard when Exporting SVG's through "Export for Screens"

    When exporting my artboards using Export for Screens, I'm unable to crop the artwork to the bounds of the artboard. The thumbnails that show up in the export flow look great, but the output files contain all art elements that are touching the artboard. See screenshots. Output svg attached.

  14. AI extremely slow on imac Pro 1.1, can't control UI

    I use AI in the CC 22 version on a new imac Pro 1.1 from Dec 2017. It will always pick up objects and move them, it is almost impossible to control the UI and work with the application. It also doesn't react properly on the click command of the track pad. The same happens when I use a mouse. Both, in bluetooth mode and direct wire mode. The system is macos high Sierra 10.13.3

  15. Unembed flattened Link, needs warning that it will save over layered file.

    You need to warn/remind users that the flattened link (that they chose to do when they first embedded their link), if they then save their "unembed" file back to the original link location of the original layered source file, they will be saving a flat version over the top.

  16. Can't drag layers in layers palette

    I suddenly cannot drag layers in the layers palette. I just need to place a layer on top of another, which I've been doing for over a decade. Please fix this now.

  17. Linked images are embed after exported as assets

    AI 22.0.1

    Hi All,

    images linked in a document when exported as assets are automatically embedded. That means that a document increase its weight suddenly making it unusable and extremely weight.

    Please fix this behavior, images linked must continue to be linked.

  18. Cursor navigating with arrow keys not moving

    When modifying text, the cursor no longer moves with the arrows (left, right, up, down) on keyboard. I have to click with my mouse everytime now.

    This just occurred today. Please help!

  19. missing fonts logged in error

    When I open a document with missing fonts, the 'resolve missing fonts' screen keeps telling me I'm currently logged out of Creative Cloud, and to go to "help/log in". This despite the fact I'm logged in, and going to "help" shows my account name and logged in status..

    Hi,

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you due to this issue and getting back to you this late.
    We are unable to reproduce this issue in house.
    Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?
    If yes, then please let me know the following:
    1) Is this Issue still happening on your machine in the Latest version 23.0.3 ?
    2) If yes , Kindly follow the steps mentioned on the Kb Article "https://helpx.adobe.com/in/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.html

    If they don’t solve the problem, collect the logs as per instruction in the troubleshooting page and email to fontsupport@adobe.com and support@typekit.com .

  20. Cannot turn on GPU performance, NVIDIA card

    Cannot turn on GPU performance on Nvidia card
    My card: Nvidia gt 610m, before illustrator can turn on GPU performance but now I can't. I had to try reinstall app and driver Nvidia, update windows but nothing.
