When I launch the program the Home Screen appears, and my recently opened files are displayed.
When I click on one of the recently opened files, the Home Screen closes (as it should), the file opens (as it should), but then a second, blank Home Screen appears (as it absolutely should not).

The only way to close it is to manually click the 'x' button (clicking off the blank Home Screen doesn't do it).

NOTE: Opening a file any other way than from the Home Screen does *not* produce the same problem. The Home Screen disappears (as it should), and doesn't reopen.

After first installing Ai 2020 and hitting Cmd+N to create a new document, the modal defaults to the recents tab which is not populated yet and therefore does not offer an option or button to create a new document. Once you go to a different tab and choose a preset it will display it in recents. But for the first time it should probably default to another tab or at least offer you a button to create a new document.

Cannot do anything.

When I select new document icon. The new document pop opens up but its fully blac.

Mac OS 10.14.3. I try to create a new document, several different ways. Each time I get an error message: An unknown error has occurred. I click okay to dismiss it and get the error again. I dismiss that and get an error that says : Can't create a new illustration. The command was cancelled.

This is not an idea, it's a bug.

When I click Create New... it comes up with a window but it doesn't have anything on it. All that comes up is the window with the title of %CCX_FNFT_DIALOG_NAME. It is really annoying since I can't create new project.

I'm on a Window 10 running Illustrator 23.0.1.

When you click "New document" from the home screen, the dialogue box opens up but nothing appears in it. I have to use one of the 6 options on the home screen and adjust manually when inside the new document.

Not really - I updated the nvidia drivers and it didn't make a difference - the only reason I'm not experiencing the problem is that I am now working on a different machine, so the problem was never resolved (unless you advise anyone suffering this problem to replace their computer?)

after 1 almost one month I had NO ANSWER from Adobe about my problem.

Illustrator new document screen missing loads of options on windows 10. only showing mobile web and print profiles no video etc. Also recent items missing

new document appears an empty panel, how can we fix this?

I updated my NVIDIA drivers and controller software. This didn't help by default but I adjust the 3D processing associated with individual programs in NVIDIA and I can get it working. I have a similar problem, fixed the same way, with After Effects. This is still an ongoing annoyance since NVIDIA doesn't appear to save my settings.

I had this problem and solved it by updating the video card driver. You cah use 3dp chip for this. I hope this helps.

When I try to create a New File My screen opens like this

This happens in all adobe CC apps, the basic start menu is blank. This is with the newest version of adboe CC. When I scroll the cursor over the blank screen it generates a pointer that would enable me to select the image which is not present. Again, this issue is in illustrator and premier pro. I have unistalled and installed CC twice to fix any install errors. this has not fixed the problems. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
