Spacebar not working as quick Pan / Hand tool

This just happened to me. The shortcut was working fine yesterday but stopped today. I've tried fixing the issue with renaming files and removing shortcuts that use the spacebar on my Mac.

Hi,
All my strokes and fills suddenly disappear when I use the quick hand tool. If I hover over them I can see the lines but i can't select a stroke or colour for them anymore. Also, if I try to move around with the quick hand tool I'm getting a lagscreen error. Does anyone know how to fix this? -

Illustrator shortcut 'Spacebar to use hand tool' not working when I launch Chrome on macbook pro Catalina 10.15.7, works before launching, applies to Photoshop and Indesign.

Spacebar hand not working in Detroit Illustrator team. macOS Catalina MacBook Pro. Quitting out of the app won't reset anything. I really have to restart my computer?

Having issues with the spacebar hand tool shortcut. This is happening on macOS Catalina, 16" MacBook Pro. For anyone having the same issue, the quickest workaround so far is restarting the computer. Please post any quicker workarounds if they exist until this bug is fixed.

I had the same issue, found that shutting apple calendar down solved it (for now.....)
