Rotate tool Glitch
My rotate tool when used for copying with or without my wacom, starts sticking, and the object just keeps moving with my cursor. My only fix is restarting and hoping the app saved my recent changes. This is hindering me from doing BASIC and Simple things like copying a custom shape and maintaining the circular composition. I was trying to make a unique cycle like shape. I put the rotate point in the center and i was attempting to duplicate that shape inside the circle but instead of copying or doing anything, it just kept rotating even after i let go of the alt(copy key). This has been happening to me for weeks now. Please help :'(
Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,

Please fix this issues because it's very annoying, using the newest version of Illustrator 2021 and the glitch still happening, using wacom one for daily basis but since update to illustrator 2021 the issues keep coming.

This is still happening, I can only use my cursor pad on my laptop AND every time I drag the rotate point , alt+click to set my degrees of copying, it just reverts back to the center of the object instead of the point i want to rotate around...and i have the newest release of Ai :( , eternally frustrating.

I've just realised what is happening, for some reason its taking forwever to figure out the command and when you move the cursor it eventually puts the anchor point wherever the cursor is, you have to alt click where you want it to be then make sure the cursor doesn't move at all for ten seconds or so til the algorithm kicks in and it shows up the results

I'm having serious issues with the rotate around a point tool, its rotating in around some arbitrary point that seems to be different every time, cannot make a basic flower or snowflake or gear cogs.

I turned GPU Performance off per others' recommendation. It worked for me. Here are instructions for that -
