Drop Shadow Deletion Crashes Illustrator
I can apply a drop shadow to a shape, and then when I copy & paste that shape and try to remove the drop shadow from the copied version, the application crashes.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

commentedPlease ignore the comments that this has been resolved, it most certainly hasn't. The alleged 'solution' below is a workround and not a fix. We should not need to change our workflow to accommodate this error. I reported this on Illustrator 25.0 and now 25.0.01 has it too. Why take support tickets if you do not implemment them? I am still using the older vesrion of Illustrator but paying for the privilage of using the newer one. We need to know when you are going to fix this.

commentedHaving this issue as well on my windows Lenovo laptop. Only started happening when I update to illustrator 2021. Luckily the appearance panel allows you to remove effects without crashing. I just have to remember the use it.
