"Replace all" Linked images
Since new version 27.8, when I reopen an AI file with missing images, I no longer have the "Apply to all" checkbox, the new version allows "skip all" but no longer "replace all"
The issue is fixed in the latest public release, 27.9.

plz solve this issue
J, I believe is has been shipped in the latest one already. Please try version 27.9 and check if it was restored.

I don't use the beta builds, so when can we expect this fix that is available in beta to become available in an official update?

Yes , this is very critical for me, too.
Ah, you mean REPLACE All, not Select All!
This problem is already know and is already fixed in the Beta. Soon it will ship.

Yes, when turning one label into more than one it doesn't have Select All. This happened after the most recent update.(Edited by admin)
Samm, I do not recall a button like this in Illustrator...
What was it doing exactly? Where was it? When did it vanish, which version has it?
I'm having the same issue with version 27.8. This seriously impacts my workflow, so I downgraded to version 27.7 as my workaround since the "apply to all" checkbox still exists in that version.

Bring back apply to all option.

I immediately downgraded back to 27.8.1 because of this, absolutely ridiculous that such a critical feature missing now.

Yes, experiencing the exact same issue here. This is SERIOUSLY hurting productivity in my office. I have a template set up that I routinely use for the same size of card, but the design changes. Up until this newest release, all I had to do was open the template, it would pop up with the message saying the linked file couldn't be found, I could just select the new design I wanted to run 16-up or 20-up on the page, click "Apply to all" and like magic, Illustrator would automatically fill all of those slots. Now I have to MANUALLY click "replace" and then go through a bunch of clicks, x16, to get my template filled.
Nós trabalhamos com link e esse checkbox tem muita utilidade aqui onde trabalhamos. Seria muito bom se fosse recolocado. Tanto que voltamos a versão anterior do Illustrator para ter a funcionalidade de volta.

Contributor Benoit's sentence is very short, but I think he means we are having trouble with the inconvenience after 27.8.
I think various people have done the TIPS in the past to intentionally make a link broken and replace it with any file at once.
There is no alternative to that in the current version.

Illustrator Version 23.0.1
OS Version: Windows 10 Home 1803
OS Build 17134.523
Processor Type: Intel Core i7-7700 3.60 GHz
RAM: 32.0 GB
When opening an previous Illustrator file with linked image files, an error dialog appears when the linked image files are not located in the previous location. An OPTION BOX of "Apply to All" is on the dialog box next to the "Replace" button. This option box is NOT FUNCTIONING.
To repeat the issue:
Create illustrator file> Link multiple image files into file> Rename location where image files are kept> Go back to illustrator> Receive error message> Click on "Apply to All" option box>Click "replace">browse to folder containing all missing linked image files.
When you do this you will see that Illustrator will display another "error message" stating that another linked image file is missing and wants you to browse to the location of the image file to replace the image file.
"Apply to All" option box does not work.
This option worked in all previous versions of Illustrator.
