1. Resize brush with shortcut keys for Twirl, Pucker, Bloat etc tools

   When using the set of twirl, pucker, bloat tools etc It would be great if you could change the brush size using the '[' and ']' keys like you can when using the blob brush tool. It's very slow and cumbersome to change the size of the brush in the dialogue box .

2. Command-Option buttons not working. Can't duplicate or get to selection tool by hitting Command when I am using another tool

   When I am using a tool and want to get to the Selection tool without releasing the other tool I am working with (like if I am typing and want to move the text I can just hit Command and the cursor changes to Selection tool and I can move it and when released automatically becomes the text tool again, use this for many different tools).

   When I hold Command and Option down it would duplicate but it is not duplicating.

3. Pen Pressure not working

   For some reason pen pressure isnt working in illustrator CC 2019. Im on Windows 10, and everything works fine in all other Adobe softwares. Have tried updating all the drivere and reinstalling illustrator bit noting works. Also tried resetting preferences.

4. Blob Brush Crash Problem

   I'm using Microsoft Surface Pro, Windows 10, Ram 8GB, processor intel i5, 2.40GHz.
   
   Illustrator CC 23.0.2
   When I use Blob Brush with a size set to variate depending on pressure, Illustrator crashes all the time. It's not a heavy file, I'm working on really simple illustrations. I have just updated to the newest version but the problem persists. Any ideas whether the fault is in Illustrator or my machine just can't handle a simple blob brush?

5. Stylus pen

   Illustrator Cc2019 crashes when using Lenovo Yoga Surface pen in a Touch mode.
   The surface pen is drawing in both Pen and Pencil tools but Illustrator crushes after a minute or two without an option of reporting.
   It takes 7/8 file openings to finish a tracing illustration.

6. Scatter Brush - cannot make adjustments

   Mac OS 10.14.1 Illustrator 23.0.1 Scatter Brush dialog will not Preview adjustments, will not accept "OK." Must Cancel and lose adjustments to leave dialog.

7. Distorted dashes at small sizes

   OS: Windows 10
   Adobe Illustrator 23.0.1

   When creating dashed lines at small sizes, the lines are distorted. See attached image - weight is .1mm, dash size is .1mm. The line is perfectly straight, the profile is uniform and the "Preserve exact" option is enabled.

   The type and amount of distortion seems to vary depending on the line's position in the document as well. Moving the pictured line 2 mm to the right means the distortion is suddenly vertical rather than horizontal.

   This is of course not a major issue as long as the illustration is only meant to be viewed in its original size - but this defeats one of the purposes of using vectors, as the illustration should be scalable to any size without significant distortion.

   OS: Windows 10

9. Isolate Selected Groups Does Not Work in CC 2019

   Spent 4 days following a tutorial thinking I was losing my mind.
   Then, it dawned on me I downloaded CC 2019 four days ago.
   Downloaded CC2017 and the operation works as advertised.
   Used especially for cartooning…
   Goes like this:
   1. Select all inked artwork>Object>Expand Appearances>Merge.
   Create and color a rectangle covering artwork.
   Select All>Merge
   Then>>>>>Right Click<<<< and click "Select Isolate Selected Groups”
   This will put editable color with all closed line work.

   The enclosed pic is where things go wrong in 2019
   Once Isolate Selected groups is clicked you should be able to delete the outside green in isolation mode and edit any enclosed area.

   You should get something that looks like the second pic.

   Works fine in 2017.

10. Transform Again (Cmd/Ctrl+D) doesn’t work for Offset Path

    Using Offset Path to enlarge an object, works fine. When I use: Transform Again (Ctrl+D) to duplicate the same action and make another larger object it no longer works. It worked prior to Illustrator 2019 when I needed to make a concentric object. Please fix.

    Transform Again works with transformations only: Scale (probably what is meant), Rotate, Move, etc. Offset Path is a filtering operation, and won’t be affected with Cmd/Ctrl+D.

11. Pasting in front (ctrl+f) places objects outside of the sublayer I am working in.

    When I am working in a document I quite often copy and use ctrl+f to paste a duplicate in the same location so that I can just slide it sideways, negating the need for me to locate the object using both X and Y. In one of the recent updates this function has broken somewhat. It has been a nuisance for a while that it tries to paste in the layer it was copied from, but now it does the complete opposite, even when I am in a layer it always pastes outside, unless I select the layer between every pasting operation, to my annoyance.
    After some fooling around it seems like this is yet another problem that arises when you use any layer hierarchy that isn't completely flat, I couldn't reproduce the bug when using layers at the "root" of the document.
    Why is Illustrator so bad at handling layers in layers? I create fonts using illustrator and my 6000-layer documents would become a complex mess without multi-level layer hierarchies.

    To reiterate; when I am in a layer in a layer, select one or more objects, copy and paste using ctrl+f the pasted objects are placed outside of the layer I am working in, one layer up the layer hierarchy.

12. Artboard Tool button crashes Illustrator

    I'm trying to put this in the "Illustrator Bugs" category, but the button I have to click says "Post idea". Apologies if this is in the wrong area.

    Every time I click the artboard button Illustrator crashes.

    I'm using a 2017 iMac
    Illustrator version 22.0.1

    I've been having the same problem since the last time I updated Illustrator (several months). Doing research in the trouble shooting forum leads me to believe this has been a problem since October 2017.

    No one had posted a solution in the forum.

    I spent a while on Adobe's website searching for the appropriate phone number to call, then over an hour on the phone with a very nice tech support person. He was able to fix this problem by deleting the application settings. The whole day I was able to add artboards without the application crashing.

    However, the very next day the problem came back. Also, all of the settings I had to manually restore were gone again. So I'm stuck with the problem AND my settings were erased.

    I suppose deleting my personal settings again might make it work, but I really don't have time to screw around restoring my settings every day.

    This has been a known issue (according to the forums) since October 2017!

    5 months!

    What legitimate software company lets a major issue like this go unsolved for 5 months?

    I'm very unimpressed.

13. Arrow keys are not working since I updated to Illustrator 2018

    Was able to click the arrow key, up down or side one, since forever, and now the shapes, type objects, photos, etc... do not move. Clearly the arrow keys are not working... and only since I updated to 2018.

15. Can't get rid 0.001

    In the file, width of the clipping mask should be 550pt but it only stuck in 550.001pt. Want an explanation for this.

    I could only create another rectangle in this case. But sometimes happened on some complicated shapes which was quite exhausted.

16. Can't expand toolbar icons

    Working in 22.0.1 on Mac OS 10.12.6, I can no longer expand a tool to use a hidden alternate, unless I use a keyboard shortcut. When holding down on the mouse button to select, nothing happens.

18. Reflect Tool moves rounded corners

    AI 21.1
    Create a hollow compound path with two rectangles.
    Round one of the corners.
    Make an off-centre reflection with either tool palette or from Transform menu.

    The inner path gets reflected but the outer path only gets moved to where it is expected
    the 'preview' is correct but when I release the mouse any path having at least one rounded corner gets rotated 90º clockwise.

19. Trackpad selection issue with High Sierra

    When selecting objects or drawing with any of the tools, Illustrator is not recognizing the trackpad release, so objects remain selected and the only way to deselect them is to Command-tab out of the application. I was able to duplicate this problem on my laptop as well. Appears to be related to the trackpad because the same issue doesn't appear to happen when I use a standard mouse.

20. High Sierra drag/drop/copy/paste issues

    Drag/drop/copy/paste lags, doesn't work in Illustrator 21.1.0. Everything (click/drag/copy/copy/paste) is so slow that it doesn't appear to work. Even something as simple as Help/About fails.
