COMMAND F (PASTE IN PLACE) NOT WORKING!!!
paste in place is not working all of a sudden. Command F acts like command V. It just pastes randomly. Even selecting paste in place from the menu doesn't work. This is incredibly annoying and the enemy of precision. PLEASE RESTORE!!!!

Stacked dimensions lagging Illustrator
The dimension around the red outline rectangle is the LAG source... try to move anything, it takes forever. But as soon as you delete the dimensions, the lag is gone. I'm not sure what is going on here.
2 votesExpected to be fixed in Beta 30.6.0.75.
Please try to update and check if the lagging is gone.

Adobe Illustrator keeps turning on "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" when I want it off.
Adobe Illustrator 30.0 keeps turning on "Real-Time Drawing and Editing" in the Performance Settings when I want it off. I uncheck it, and it's fine. It stays that way. However, sometimes if the app has been quit and reopened, the checkbox is ticked again. Unless I'm accidentally causing it to happen with a secret keyboard shortcut, the app is arbitrarily doing this itself! It also does it sometimes when the app is updated. It's actually an old bug and goes back many, many versions. Time it was stamped out, Adobe.

Both Illustrator and Photoshop stop responding while using complex files
The Adobe Software, both Illustrator and Photoshop, stop responding and I can’t really use them properly, while using complex files
2 votesAkshay, the team would need to study those files that makes Illustrator work slowly. Please upload these to a file hosting of your choice (with all the links collected using File > Package) and send the access link to sharewithai@adobe.comm so the team could investigate them. Please mention the link to this report (http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/50490981) along with full details about your OS and hardware.

Request for Improvement: Kerning Delay with Complex Background Data in Illustrator 2025
I am experiencing performance issues with Adobe Illustrator 2025 (latest version) in the following environment:
Environment: MacBook Pro 2024 (32GB RAM, SSD), macOS Sequoia
File Setup: Approximately 30 artboards with the same complex background (vector data or high-resolution images)
Issue: Kerning and text spacing adjustments result in a ~1-second delay per operation. Hiding the background does not resolve the issue, but removing it eliminates the delay.Attempted Solutions:
Disabled Navigator panel and layer thumbnails
Toggled GPU performance on/offRequest: Please optimize performance to ensure smooth kerning operations even with multiple artboards and complex background data.

3D Materials Panel Causes Much Longer Document Load Times
Regarding the 3D Effects Panel in Illustrator, it seems to take nearly 20 seconds when launching a new document if in the previous session the Panel was active. If the 3D Effects panel was not active, then the document loads much faster. It would be great to have Illustrator handle the load time better.
I'm using Illustrator version 29.2.1 in MacOS WITH Sequoia 15.2 on an M4 Pro 48GB RAM.

Constant crashing - can't even move an object
Have updated my illustrator to the most recent version 29.1.
Using Mac OS Sequoa 15.1.1 - M1.
I would make changes, scroll to another section of my frame. Return back and my changes were then 'reverted'.
Every time I open the app it lags, spinning wheel of death, and all i'm doing is trying to maybe zoom in or out, copy or move an object.
I have reverted to old versions, reinstalled etc
It's a small file, good computer with heaps of memory.
Illustrator is basically unusable at this point and can't do my work. .

Not Responding Issues
What is wrong with Illustrator today? As I am working on an infographic, every time I do something the program with stop responding/"not responding" for 3-10 seconds. It is extremely difficult to work like this.

I'm tired. Tools occasionally don’t work, artboards don’t get edited, links don’t hold.
My illustrator since I downloaded it has been very bad, at the moment it is buggy and does not let me edit the artboards, I even had to restart my PC. The bug happens with all the tools and just with the passing of the hours it fixes itself, but I'm tired. I can't even add images or screenshots because it doesn't leave me when it's in that state, it's not my computer, it's a very good computer and I can't say it's because I'm doing something wrong. Simply out of nowhere some tool does not work or the application…

Baisse de performance au bout d'un certain temps
MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16 Go - Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Illustrator 2024 keeps crashing, no crash report, no recovery files
I've been using Illustrator on my desktop since 2019, I haven't changed anything on my setup in terms of hardware or software. Illustrator was working perfectly fine up until lately (within the last 2 months). I've worked on large files and multiple files with heavy memory loads perfectly fine. But now, I can barely have two Illustrator documents open without it crashing. A crash report doesn't pop up and it doesn't save my recovery files even though I have that function enabled. I have one document open right now, it only has two photos and a shape with a gradient,…

Hitting Alt Makes Cursor Look/Feel Laggy and Slow
This has been going on for MANY years/versions of Illustrator and I've seen many posts here about the issue but it's yet to be resolved or have any work arounds.
All you have to do to replicate the bug is to hit alt (don't even need to hold it) and assuming you're on a high refresh rate monitor you will instantly feel input lag and see the cursor moving at what appears to be 30fps or less, until you left click with mouse, then it will go back to normal. When you hit ALT there should be no difference in…
