We can't read 2 settings completely, too many characters.
1 option is too short: Rayons d'arrondis, for this one, the tooltip is helpful. Previous version of Ai use: Mettre à l'échelle les ... and it was better for to understand.1 vote -
Character panel issue
I can not open the character panel. It flashes briefly a couple seconds after clicking on it, but then disappears. I'm running version 23.0.3 on Windows 10

Illustrator opens with all settings lost and menu area unable to grab
OS: Windows 10 Home. Version 1809. Adobe Illustrator 2019 23.0.3 (and earlier versions)
I use Illustrator daily. Approximately every 2 months it launches with a corruption. All of my settings are lost and the menu bar has a strange gradient and is unusable. The only solution I have found is to reinstall and set up from scratch, which is time consuming.

Screen Mode/Application positioning bug
On Windows 10. Toggling the screen mode does produces UI rendering bugs. But also I am entirely unable to get back to a windowed view, or move the window by any means (either dragging or the menu option behind the logo)

Your popup suggestion about gradients removes pen/touch input on Wacom Mobility Pro
When using a gradient mesh, a popup suggestion to check out new gradient tool features removes all but keyboard input. Until I can dismiss the popup, I can only use the keyboard, even outside the Illustrator application. Since the popup doesn't dismiss with keyboard input(at least that I've figured out), my only recourse is to save the file, close out of AI and shut down/restart the computer. Working on a Wacom MobileStudio Pro, Win 10, all drivers up to date, Illustrator is up to date.

User Interface zoomed in
The interface in my Adobe Illustrator 2019 is 'zoomed-in' and it's not the same size as other Adobe apps. I've attached a screen shot of Illustrator 2018 vs Illustrator 2019.
1 voteIllustrator has a feature to scale user interface on high resolution devices. You may choose to turn it off under preferences>User Interface>UI Scaling.

Variables panel not redrawing
The variables panel does not seem to get redrawn as often as it should.
I am using the latest (early 2019) version of AI.
Create a new document.
Go to/open Variables panel
Panel corner menu->Create Variable.
Dialog opens: Enter name and choose type.
Close dialog.
New variable does not appear in list. (Yet)
Close and reopen Variables panel (or switch panel tab away and back)
Variable previously created is now visible.
Similarly, binding variables to objects is not updated in the panel without the close/reopen or tab switch trick forcing the panel to redraw.

Mysterious Panel on Startup
Running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G5019), and Adobe Illustrator CC 23.0.2

Control and Toolbar
Control and toolbars disappear every time I start Illustrator CC and I am on 23.0.2 version. Please advise. Thank you.

Very simple, right? We've all been able to do it forever.
Well, I don't want to be overly unpleasant about this, but, having finally upgraded from Adobe CS5 to Adobe CC, I find that this most basic of actions is unperformable on my computer. It worked in CS5.
It's the newest version of Mojave, 10.14.3, and the newest version of Illustrator, on account of me having just installed it.

Extra large font in top menus - can't fix
I can't modify the size of the font in Illustrator's top bar menus. When I click on a top menu item (File/Edit/Object/Type, etc) the font displayed in them is extra large, and I can't change it in Settings. Even when I select "Reset Essentials Classic", nothing happens. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Japanese version: Sidebar properties get clipped
The values get clipped out and it's difficult to insert values....
I think this is possibly because of poor localisation for Japanese UI as the Japanese text is larger and thus causes the clipping....
This has happened on many occasions but as a sample I included an image of the settings of corner roundness of an object.
I'm not sure if this happens on any other language UI's as I've only been using the Japanese version.

LogTransport2 locks app after failed requests to hbrcv.adobe.com
I have a corporate web filter that always tries to authenticate port 80 or 443 traffic. Illustrator is reaching out to hbrcv.adobe.com and because there is no traditional web interface to handle this request, if the library can't communicate without issue the entire user interface locks and becomes unusable. Any ideas how to fix this issue? Thanks!

Panels are Grouped, e.g., Properties can't be detached from Layers
I want to set up a new workspace to have separate windows. Illustrator is forcing them to be attached, and it takes up a lot of screen space, blocking my view of my artwork.
I am using Windows 10 v1803

Fréquemment, à l'ouverture d'un fichier j'ai le message "Impossible d'ouvrir le fichier".
