1. pressure spike bug

   i am using a huion h640p tablet and the moment i touch the tablet with the stylus and graze the surface of the table in effort to make a thin line it will create a large blob then go on to make the thin line (please note that every stroke was drawn from left to right)

2. scale in pointer

   the scale tool that we use to transform an object does not work. I have to uninstall the program to see it again and sometimes that does not repair it

3. Expanded shapes get an additional redundant anchor point

   Example:
   1. Draw a square with a stroke set to the inside or outside (doesn't matter which as long as the stroke isn't centred)
   2. Expand the square and instead of the 8 anchor points you would expect the compound shape to have, the expanded square has 10 anchor points.
   The top right corners have 2 anchor points each, created directly on top of each other.

   This happens with ANY shape with corners and a stroke that isn't centred.

   You can't see the extra anchor point directly because it is in exactly the same location as the correct anchor point.

   To prove there is an extra anchor point, switch to the Direct Selection tool and you'll see that all the corners except the top right corners have a Corner Widget. The top right has no corner widgets because technically there is no corner - there is no path that changes direction because the anchor points are directly on top of each other.

   You can also prove there are 2 anchor points instead of 1 by using the Astute Graphics tools. When the corner is selected the Astute info panel shows 2 anchor points selected when it looks on screen like there is just 1 anchor point selected. You can the use Astute tools to remove the extra anchor point and Voila the corner widgets reappear and the shape now has its correct number of anchor points!

   Example:

5. Circle size change when rotating

   When I rotate a perfect circle, the size changes up to .004”. A 15”x15” circle, when rotated 17.184° becomes a 15.004”x15.004” circle. I know it may sound trivial, but I’m creating technical drawings that have to be accurate to the ten thousandths of an inch.

   I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.

   Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

6. Transform and Transform again

   Older versions of Transform again would let you transform any object the same as the previous object. This function no longer works. If I draw a box and transform it, I want to be able to transform a text object the same without using percentages. Because I am not always transforming a percentage. I may be transforming different objects to be the same height, but the tool does not allow this anymore. Please bring back the original functionality of this tool.

7. Eyedropping in Isolation Mode is Broken

   In isolation mode, I'd like to eyedrop a non-isolated ("grayed-out") object to select its actual color rather than the dimmed color that's displayed.

   Don't you think it's far less likely that I'd want to eyedrop the grayed-out color?

8. Illustrator uses UI scaling for menus from main display in dual display setup

   Windows 10, version 1803
   Illustrator CC (22.1)

   I have a dual display setup. Display 1 is 109ppi (27", 2560x1440) set to 100% UI scale in Windows settings. Display 2 is 282ppi (15.6", 3840x2160) set to 225% UI scale in Windows settings.

   Illustrator is set to 'scale to higher supported scale factor'

   If Illustrator is placed on display 2, with display 1 set as the 'main' or primary display in windows settings, Most UI items within Illustrator display as expected but menus and some other items become unreadable, because Illustrator appears to take its UI scaling setting from the display set as the main or primary display.

   If I set display 2 as the 'main' or primary display within Windows settings, and Illustrator is placed on display 2, menus render as expected.

   This behaviour does not happen with Photoshop.

   Windows 10, version 1803

9. Illustrator CC crashes every time I try to Export for Screens

   Illustrator has crashed 12 consecutive times when I Export for Screens but only when I choose SVG as output.

10. pen tool bug, "option" key does not activate usable "convert anchor point tool".

    ai 22.1 on sierra mac. 10.12.4

    I can see the convert anchor point tool when using the pen tool by pressing option , however when I try to click an anchor point it keeps defaulting back to the pen tool, this is annoying.

11. fix 'sticky' text boxes within sublayers

    Fire up Illustrator 22.0 or 22.1 and create a new document.

    Select the Text tool and draw a rectangular area. Fill it with placeholder text. Select the Rectangle tool and draw a filled rectangle (non-overlapping, though it doesn't matter).

    Double click some word in the text box and start typing. Then in the Layers panel, click the 'select art' square corresponding to the filled rectangle. The rectangle becomes selected and the text box is deselected and all is good and well.

    Deselect everything, hilight the rectangle and textbox objects in the Layers panel, and "Collect in New Layer". This puts the two objects into a new sublayer under the existing "Layer 1". Rotate the arrow-thing to uncollapse the new sublayer.

    Now, repeat the above procedure: select the text box, select the text tool, double click on some word in the text and start typing. Then select the rectangle via the 'Selected Art' marker in the Layers panel.

    The Layers panel shows the rectangle as selected and the text as deselected. The 'selection hilighting' (if 'Show Edges' is turned on) in the drawing area also shows the rectangle is selected and the text is deselected. Both of them are lying, however!

    BUG: The text box is still (incorrectly) secretly selected. There's still a flashing text cursor right where it was. Pressing 'a' on the keyboard (unsurprisingly) puts in 'a' in the text box where the cursor is, rather than switching to the Direct Selection Tool.

    Also, while in this confused state, click on the Selection Tool in the tools panel. The Layers panel updates to show that both the rectangle and the text box are selected, and both will have bounding boxes shown (assuming Show Edges is enabled) as well as a third bounding box that encompasses the two of them. All of that's fine and normal for both objects being selected, but the text box should have been deselected when the other object was selected via the Layers panel.

    This only seems to happen when the text box is in a sub-layer. If it's in a top-level layer it correctly deselects when you select something else.

    Needless to say, this is annoying as all get-out, and I routinely find myself inadvertently injecting arbitrary 'a' and 'v' characters into text that I've 'deselected'.

    WORKAROUND: Hitting ESC or ctrl-shift-A (Deselect All) does correctly deselect the text box (whether it's in a sublayer or not). But I count on the Layers panel to make my object selections, and so this bug keeps biting me.

12. Eraser or Blob Brush tools’ sizes are not adjustable with double-click anymore

    I can't change the dimensions of drawing tools such as the Eraser or Blob Brush tool with double-click anymore and there seems to be no shortcut or any other option to get here, even typing 'eraser' in the help section doesn't show anything.

13. Edges stay visible when you switch from Selection to Brush tool

    When you hover an object with the Selection tool and then switch to the Brush tool with the shortcut it will keep the edges (hover outlines) over it even if you start drawing somewhere else with the brush.

14. Grouped objects from cloud libraries have ungroup issue

    Hello
    I have observed for some time that i must do ungroup around 2 to 3 times of a group of objects until it will actually ungroup, this is not recent issue i remember it from other updates not sure when it happened or if this is normal.
    Can you fix please?

16. Cannot use alt with eyedropper to apply sampled style to other sections of text

    Cannot use alt with eyedropper to apply sampled appearance to other objects

    Illustrator CC 2018 (22.1)

    I used to (in CS6) be able to copy a text style by using the eyedropper once and then holding alt to apply it to other sections (the eyedropper icon would be mirrored left-right when holding alt).

    Now if I hold alt, I'm getting the hand (pan) tool.

    How can I get the "apply style" tool instead please?

    NB: it still works with objects (background of text area in the example video), but not with text anymore.

17. Targeting and moving selections between layers

    I just upgraded to Illustrator CC 2018 (22.1). The layers interface has more bugs than a bait store. For one thing, I can no longer move targeted selections between layers, and the "release to layers" (build or sequence) doesn't expand named layers properly.

    I'm a high-end packaging production designer. I have to work with vector art and therefore multiple layers are absolutely critical to mitigate file complexity. This is a serious problem as now I refuse to release mechanicals that would be untenable for vendors.

    I'll need to revert back to Illustrator CC 2017, and can only hope and pray that Version 22.1 hasn't already screwed up my files irreparably.

18. Shape tools lagging and leaving mark when resizing

    I just started using Illustrator CC 2018 on Windows 7. I began using some of the shape tools and started to experience an issue. Each time I go to resize a shape or move it, the shape leaves an impression of its previous size or location. I tried to uninstall Illustrator and then reinstall, yet the problem persists. If I minimize or maximize the art board the lines go away. I have also found that the smart guides don't work when re positioning the shapes.

19. "Export as" not working as expected

    When I use File > Export > Xxport as ...e.g. png, using the "Use artboards" function the "Save As" dialog isn't working properly...

    Firstly, it doesn't save the name I typed exactly... "Version 1.2.png" it somehow uses parts of already existing file names like "Version 1.2_Text.png" which is really weird...

    Secondly, if I use parts of the name of a file that already exists like "Text_Version 1.2.png" in the saving process and Text.png already exists it asks me if I want to overwrite that file...

    If you still have the problem, please share a test file and a strict chain of steps to reproduce the problem, ideally with a video attached the team can follow. Please mention the exact names for the files already existing in the target folder also, if it matters.

20. Font menu in the context menu won’t show

    My font list has started to not show. I'm not sure what is causing it as it was ok then suddenly it stopped showing. Please see the attached file for more.
