Select Same Stroke Weight does not.
2019 iMac running OS 10.15.4, AI CC 23.1.1
Shouldn't "Select Same ***" actually select ALL the items identical to the one item selected? I am working on a master file for Nutrition Facts panels, and cannot truly select every rule that is of a particular weight. REALLY Frustrating!

Move Gradient nummerically / contrained
A new Gradient is always added to the center of a shape. Moving it is not possible, without changing the size / redraw it.
I would like to move the Gradient within a shape with the same methods that are available for moving other element (numerically, constrain, etc.)

Artboard moves when clicking in Recolor Artwork dialog
Using Windows 10 English & Illustrator 24.3.1 beta.
In them Recolor Artwork dialog (with the new color wheel), I can make the artboard move down or to the right by interacting with the "Dominant Colors" box.
Steps to reproduce:
1) With an open document, select artwork
2) Open Recolor Artwork dialog
3) Click in the "Dominant Colors" box, move the mouse slightly upwards, then hold the cursor where it is (around the top of the "Dominant Colors" box).Expected result: The artboard does not move

Illustrator 24.2.3 crashes at exit, cannot see contents once 2019 file is opened, preview displays
Illustrator 24.2.3, cannot open a file for editing that worked fine in earlier version of Illustrator, probably CC 2019, to make a change. A preview is displayed before opening. Fortunately CS5 can open it, otherwise I would have lost a customer. After closing 24.2.3, it crashes about 50% of the time on any file I have modified. The CS5 versions of files being posted were produced by using CS5 to open the CC 2019 versions, although it complained that they were newer and might not have valid text attributes, and saving to CS5 format. Image trace does not allow to use your own colour palette
Under advanced image trace, now when you use the dropdown palette and select 'Document library' and then select your own limited colour theme in the dropdown below, it makes no difference at all (even though it takes time re-rendering the image).
This used to work really effectively, but I've had these issues for some time.
I'm on the latest version of Illustartor 2020 (ver 24.2.3)
I've attached a screengrab so you can see the colours are not being used!

Object Arrange functionality not working
Steps taken (actual result):
- Line up a square shape and an image (one on top of the other)
- Try to use shortcut to bring the image to the front (cmd + shift + close bracket)
- Nothing happens
- Then try to do this move manually (go to Object > Arrange > Bring to Front)
- Still nothing happens
Expected result: Image to shift to sit in front of the square shape
Same happens for any of the other Arrange commands (Bring forward, Send Backward, Send to Back)

Lines form while moving canvas
Every time I move the canvas down using the hand tool or scrolling up, these weird horizontal lines of color like 1 pixel high drop like some delay previewing or something. It's not easy to explain.
I don't experience this in any other Adobe program.

Undo not working when Align Panel is active
After clicking one of the Align/Distribute tools, Cmd-Z to undo does not have any effect. After clicking in the artboard, undo works again.

Place - wedge in image appears and moving images is clunky
When I place an image, a wedge appears, and it only goes away when I lock, and then unlock the layer. If I start moving the image around again, the wedge appears again.

In Align I find when try to divide something evenly it become one, then try to get a point to align with each other it shot of the page.
Align is not working as before some features are producing undesirable effects.

Bug avec Catalina + cintiq 27HD + illustrator
I've been working for 3 years with Illustrator on a Cintiq 27HD and so far it worked perfectly.
I changed my old Imac (high Sierra) for a Macbook Pro on Catalina in june, and i work with the last version of Illustrator. I specify that my new Mac is clean and was installed by a professional, and that the MacbookPro is new. So there are no old files that could disturb the system.

Objects locked
Objects become locked in place for no reason - no obejct is set to lock.
This happens randomly when working with objects / shapes / strokes.The only way to get rid of the issue is to restart Illustrator.

Scaling Issue in large canvas Illustrator 24.2.1
When designing in the large canvas mode (anything larger than 227.5416 inches) the scaling does not work properly in the transform panel. For instance, if I start a document off making the canvas 240" x 240" and I draw a rectangle that is 12" x 12" and open the transform panel and enter 200% in the width or height field, it does not scale it up to 200%. - Nothing happens

illustrator unexpectedly quits and does not reopen the project i was working on.
illustrator constantly crashes and then when i try to reopen it my unsaved project i was working on is now gone if it happens again im more than likely going to smash my ******* computer and send it to you in a box asking for a new one since you can't seem to fix your software

Not sure but it's happening

Windows 10 HomeSo I thought it was my corsair scimitar pro was the problem, but outside adobe, my mouse seems to work fine.
the issue is, when I work in illustrator, my mouse acts like I released my left mouse button. So for example, when I'm making a rectangle, it sometimes randomly stops making the rectangle like I release my button. Or when dragging it releases.. anybody having this issue?

Hide edges not working
When choosing to hide edges of selected objects, 1 or more objects still have edges visible. I have resorted to back saving my documents as this feature is crucial for layouts.
4 votesAs far as I know, the auto-keying an object in a selection was a bug introduced in one of versions, not caught in time and slipped into the release, later fixed.
Since no object is forced as a key right now, I assume there is no need in having its bold outline to be hidden when Hide Edges is active, since these two factors rarely meet... However, if you have a workflow that requires to have both — I encourage you to file it as a feature request with some examples.

Rotate tool
in Illustrator 24.2 the rotate tool often seems to default back to random numbers now instead of to the last used or something that might make sense (eg 90). eg 93.24

Snap to point not working and please allow files to reopen after crash/restart/reopen
Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6, Illustrator 24.2
Selection points no longer seem to appear on hover and snap to point isn't working even if I quit the app and restart.
This is getting kind of ridiculous - trying to work is frustrating if you need to be precise with something.
Also... please please Adobe - why is it almost every other company has managed to give us the option to reopen after quit with the same files open but you still haven't?? Today Creative Cloud told me I had 7 updates available and I thought, ok great, maybe just maybe…

Current bugs that are making it nearly impossible to get work done
As I type this, I'm reinstalling AI for the second time this month. This time without saved prefs. Please, Adobe, make this storied and remarkable piece of software STABLE before you talk about giving us new features. I don't want a new icon, I want not to have to explain to my boss that I didn't get anything done this morning because my industry-standard software didn't work.
