Illustrator 2023 - 27.5 Arabic Right to left alignment issue
Hi, I am using illustrate 2023 [27.5] / MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 - Mac mini M2 Pro. Here we are facing an issue in Arabic text alignment. As per your help, when we paste Arabic, it detects automatically the language and when we select the language alignment and orientation would change according to the language. But here, even if we select the above steps the orientation remains exactly like English. illustratorだけ正常にフォントが表示されない
TTEditで自作したフォントを10個インストールしましたが、Turetypeの日本語フォントのみillustratorでだけ表示されません。フォント名は連番で作成していますが（例：WA-01、WA-02など）環境にないフォントとしてフォントファミリーとして認識してしまします。
手動でフォントを変更することは可能ですが、他のPCでは同じフォントと認識しません。
Excelでは表示されます。PC：Windows10 21H2
illustrator：26.0、27.0どちらでもダメでした
実行：フォントリストの再作成、フォント名の英語表記ON/OFF、環境設定ファイルの再作成、Adobeのログアウト、PCの初期化、日本語IMEの旧バージョンON/OFF、Adobeの必須ファイルへ直接フォントファイルを入れてのインストール、Windows/Fontsへコピーしてのインストールいろいろ試しましたが変わりませんでした。
PCも変更してみましたがダメでした。まず、フォントリストが削除出来ませんでした。
（写真参照）解決策があれば教えていただきたいです。

Lost partial fraction capabilities for OpenType
It seems that Illustrator has lost partial fraction OpenType capabilities recently. I was able to create various types of fractions using the 'Fractions' option in the OpenType menu. As of recently, this capability has since been limited to basic fractions (1/4, 1/2, 3/4).
Just to note that I did not change the font. I've been using the same font in both cases (Myriad Pro).

Automatic hyphen turns in to different glyph character
I have a strange phenomenon on my Mac (Ventura 13.0.1): in the example there are three identical texts in 3 different font types (purchased, Adobe and Google). All fonts are available in the font manager program (RightFont) and auto-activation is enabled (the fonts are NOT activated initially).
I open the Illustrator (27.0.1) file and RightFont reports that missing fonts are available for activation (Illustrator also reports this, but I ignore this message, as RightFont already 'takes care' of it.

Spellcheck underlines things that are OK
The dictionary Illustrator uses is quite poor it seems, especially for non-English languages.
But what’s more important, Ai always wants me to make each first word capitalized in a line after a soft-break. Hey, do you know soft break is not a paragraph return, right? It means just a new line, not the end of a sentence.
Just stop. It makes the Spellcheck completely useless.

Can't adjust leading with Alt+arrow keys.
When trying to adjust text leading with ALT + Up/Down arrow keys as usual, it doesn't seem to work. It's inconvenient to adjust leading from the character menu.
Illustrator 2023.1 voteThis got solved by checking the 'Size/Leading' value in Preferences > Type. For some reason it got changed. This is not the first time something like this happens, and the reason behind this value getting altered is unknown... so it can’t be marked as 'Resolved'. Spellcheck turns off when you apply Drop Shadow or other effects to a text
Spellcheck must work for all text objects once enabled, no matter what appearance it has.
Here, the same line of text with a typo in it has a drop shadow and a custom fill applied. No zigzag lines, and all those who count on Ai to mark they typos are in trouble.

Action to find replace T1 fonts
Since Illustrator no longer supports T1 fonts I would love to be able to make an action to find/replace font associated with common fonts that I used previously to current fonts that I now have active. The action however only opens the find/replace dialog and doesn't complete the request automatically. It makes you reselect the replacement font. (even though in the script dialog it shows the step of find (x) font, replace (x) font, change all yes).

Can’t select a hyphen at the start of the line
テキストツールで半角英数字で入力したものが、後になって選択できなくなる場合があるようです。
「- 2022 -」と入力したあと、修正しようとしたら、最初の「- 」が選択出来ません。1 voteIllustrator converts a hyphen at the start of the line to a bulleted list, unless the 'Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing' option (enabled by default) is not turned off.
These converted markers can’t be selected, unless you convert the text back with the dedicated button in the Paragraph menu.
But be warned though, that sometimes disabling the auto-conversion does not work, and hyphen and other characters still force Illustrator to create a list.

Textrahmen verkettet sich beim Bewegen
Betriebsystem: macOS Monterey 12.6.3
Illustrator Version: 27.2Mir ist leider noch unklar welche Schritte genau zu dem Problem führen.
Ich arbeite aktuell in großen Arbeitsflächen.Manchmal wenn ich Texte verschieben möchte, lassen diese sich nicht verschieben, sondern verketten sich einfach mit dem obersten rechten Punkt der Arbeitsfläche. Sie lassen sich dann gar nicht mehr verschieben.
Cmd-Z löst das problem nur kurzweilig - manchmal auch gar nicht. Dann bleibt die Verkettung bestehen, während sich andere vor der Verkettung stattgefundene Schritte Rückgängig machen.
Wenn ich Illustrator beende und neu starte, ist der Fehler für einige Zeit wieder behoben.Eventuelle bestehende Verkettungen kann…

Please repair selection of path text objects in a group
When text on a path is part of a group, it is no longer possible to select and delete it.
In previous versions Alt-Shift-Direct Selection allowed to select the path text and delete it, but in the latest version, this tries to delete the path from the text object, which results in 'Can't clear the Objects'.1 vote -
AI打開缺字體文件卡死界面問題，只能任務管理器強制關閉。
有bug的AI版本，ai2022 ai2023都有问题。ai2021没这个问题。

Vertical Type Tool Not Working Properly

When using the vertical type tool, it used to make a word have the letters stacked over each other. (like in column 'B) Now when you click with the Vertical Type Tool to type anything, it appears as image 'A'. I do not think its supposed to look like a word that has just been rotated 90 degrees? Adobe Fontが時々使えない
契約は問題ないはずなのですが、Adobe Fontが時々使えなくなり、既存フォントで置き換えられてしまい、しばらく利用できなくなります。

preferences > Type "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing" Not working
Version 27.0 64bit
This setting : preferences > Type "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing" has no effect.
Illustrator is automatically numbering and bulleting, even when the setting is on or off.

Font not automatically updating embedded Font
I am using an exported PDF from Autodesk Inventor where there is an embedded Font included but not showing i original PDF.
I use Illustrator for Finetuning the PDF and also for updating the font.
this last thing normally goes automatically when opening, Illustrator changes/updates it directly.
Since today it didn't work, I was frustrated but then I tried downgrading to 27.1 and this did the trick.Please can you get this back straight and repair this.

パスのオフセットが出来なくなってしまった
文字をアウトライン化して、パスのオフセットを実行すると全部同じ色になってしまう。色の変更をしても内側外側全て同じ色になってしまう
