  1. Buggy

    Very frustrating. Just simple task like tracing sketches with the pen tool, panning with the spacebar or swiping from layer to layers causes the program to freeze. I see the pinwheel more then I see the mouse.

  2. Illustrator 2020 24.3 Extremely slow performance and lagging on Windows 10

    Extremely slow performance and lagging making Illustrator unusable under win 10 pro. Massive lag (sometimes 10 sec) when moving, selecting, objects or zooming, sometimes when selecting tools.

    I had v23.4 installed on the same machine with Win 7 a week ago and had no issues. New install of Windows 10 with the same version of illustrator is unusable even though my machine spec is above requirements and has no other issues.

    I've installed the previous version of illustrator to test but had the same performance issues.

    All drivers updated, and ran through performance troubleshooting in adobe support pages.

  3. Not enough memory (RAM), cant apply 3D effect

    hello. every time i open a particular illustrator file, it says i dont have enough memory (RAM), and it doesn't respond when i try to apply 3D effect. please advise.

  4. New Windows 10 version v25.0.1 is crashing constantly--very unstable

    This new version for Windows 10 (v25.01) is crashing constantly. I have lost a lot of work and can't keep doing this.......... please fix.

  5. Network corrupting app repeatedly

    I have read articles about how Adobe doesn't like to work with networks but my issue is my company does not allow for me to use anything off the network. We have extreme security settings so there is no option at all to work around it. Because of this, the app corrupts at least once a month and IT won't help. I'm the one stuck with reinstalling the app and all the settings constantly. Please help work on a solution for designers like me whose hands are tied with how we use the software.   6. Gradient tool hangs after using

    Exactly as the title says. Using the gradient tool in the most recent versions of Illustrator results in the app not responding for about a minute.

  8. Version 24.0.1 becomes unresponsive

    I'm using Illustrator 24.0.1 with Windows 10 Pro

    Since updating Illustrator keeps becoming entirely unresponsive midway through working with no warning and no way to save or quit.

    Sometimes I can move the mouse over menu items, the drop down menu will be completely black and items 'appear' as I hover over them but I cannot click them. Other times I can not even access the menus and it is entirely unresponsive.

    Since updating it has happened daily even when working on relatively simple artworks.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.2 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  9. Jittery mouse cursor before changing state / hovering over links when Adobe application is open

    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
    Processor 2,3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
    MacOS Big Sur 11.2.1 (20D74)
    Memory 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
    Graphic AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB

    I'm experiencing a jittery/buggy/flickering mouse cursor when my cursor's about to change mode, to type mode or other different pointers.

    This also occurs in both Safari and Chrome while I'm opening any Adobe application. It also occurs in other non-hyperlink instances of the mouse cursor changing, such as hovering over the drag handle when resizing Finder columns.

  10. Illustrator keeps shutting down

    My Illustrator keeps shutting down. It tells me I have an unsupported video driver. Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000. It has been doing this all week. I have never had this problem before. And now I have to sign in every time it starts.

  12. Removed a middle anchor, then an infinite long "handle line" caused the file and the recovery file to crash AI

    I placed a line with 3 anchors, removed the middle anchor.
    Then AI created automatically an infinite long handle from one of the remaining anchor points.
    I coudln´t save the file, it crashed immediately and the recover file got the same bug, so I couldn´t even save the recovery file. the whole infected file is lost completely. (I lost 6 hours of work because of this bug).

  14. Pattern palette causes program crash

    I have been experiencing a lot of problems with Illustrator since updating to Big Sur OS. At first it didn't even open. Now, the Pattern palette causes the program to crash every time I attempt to create a pattern. I have wasted a whole week and I cant seem to be able to get it to work correctly.

  15. Text tool crashes version 25.x

    In version 25.0x and later, every time I draw a text box, Illustrator hangs. After it catches up with itself, I'm left with a text box that I can't access -- if I click on it, Illustrator hangs again. It's unusable.

    I had to uninstall and go back to 24.3.

  16. Illustrator 2021

    I have a 2015 macbook pro Catalina OS ver 10.15.7, 8 Gb 1867 MHz DDR3 with over 100 Gb free and an intel iris Graphics 6100 1536 graphics card
    This computer was powerful enough to run the previous version of illustrator. However, with the new version (2021) there has been a significant slowdown to the point where even copy pasting a simple design takes a minute to do. It is slow and the lag is insufferable. Is there anyway down grading can become available or an option? Or is there something I can do to improve the performance of illustrator…
