Smooth animated zoom not working in Overprint Preview.
Animated Zoom, while in Overprint Preview acts as Zoom to selected area wich is quite frustrating.
Same problem in Pixel Preview and View using CPU.3 votesAnimated zoom works only in GPU rendering mode and won’t work in specialized modes like Pixel or Overprint Preview — they still rely on CPU calculations.

Minimised document shows up when opening another file
Let's say that I have illustrator with one document already opened and minimised in dock.
When I open another .ai file fron Finder, the minimised document shows up also before opening the document intended to open.
That's really frustrating, as, if I decided to minimised a document, that means that I wanted it there for later or ocasionally use, and want it to stay minimised until another decision I made. It happend a lot of times to switch between opened .ai and Finder below, and I don't need another document to be opened behind the working one, If I minimised…2 votes -

Ich habe ein Textfeld von konret 520 mm Breite. Jeder Aufruf der "Flächentextoptionen" setzt dieses auf 354 mm Breite.

Libraries content window disappear
When you choose a color from the swatches save in the cloud library with an item selected on the canvas, in order to alter its color, the following bugs happens.
If you do not "deselect" the libraries panel, and use the keystroke " ctrl + ] " or " ctrl + [ " in order to change the layout Z-index of a sub-layer, it makes the libraries items disappears altogether.
The only way to fix it is to close and restart Illustrator.

Breite- und Höhenwert funktionieren nicht mehr bei mehrfach Markierung.
Breite ist immer 16383!
Zusätzlich sind einige Wörter nach dem update von v24 auf v25 auf Englisch

Bottom Panel disappearing in Full Screen Mode
Bottom Panel (Currently Layers or Artboard) disappears in Full Screen mode. Opening manually from Window>Layers or hotkey (F7) does not work. Will also disappear when Panel directly above is selected. Need to select panel at top of stack to make the bottom most panel appear.

Traductions manquantes lors de certains démarrage
Bonjour,
Lorsque j'ouvre un projet enregistré sur mon ordinateur ou un document en effectuant l'action : clique droit => ouvre avec => Illustrator CC 2020 le projet (ou le document) s'ouvre dans un Illustrator qui n'est pas complétement traduit en Français.
Si les barres de menus sont bien traduites ainsi que le contenu des menus ; les options se trouvant dans le ruban de droite sont encore écrites en anglais (onglets Propriétés / Bibliothèque ...).
Je vous joins un fichier pour constater le problème.

No text selection on New Document window
I have been experiencing a problem since Illustrator 2020.
When in the New Document window, I can't select any text on the inputs such as File name, Height, Width, Bleed etc.
I usually select by clicking and dragging, but it isn't working. The only way to select the entire text for me now is by clicking 3 times at the end.
I reinstalled my windows 10 system for other reasons, but the problem persists.
Everything seems fine on other Adobe applications, though.

actual size (ctrl/cmd-1) off by half pixel
Using cmd/ctrl-1 to set "actual size" seems to be off by half a pixel. If in pixel preview, everything is blurry and requires zooming in and out to get the screen aligned to the pixel.
This used to work fine before CC2019, but ever since then "actual size" was has always been slightly off, and is especially apparent with pixel-aligned artwork and artboard edges.

Transform>Reflect defaulting to random angle
At some point in the last week (version 25.0.1) right clicking on a selection and applying "Transform>Reflect" opens up the reflect UI panel but instead of defaulting to horizontal or vertical, it's defaulting to "Angle" and a completely random number. Constantly having to correct this is a right faff.
It's tricky to recreate but has happened multiple times over the last few days. In this case reflecting a cat 50.9 degrees!?
Maybe I'm just the only one!

BUG - Select value - New Document Window
Hello,
I cant select measure (width, height) value in window and write new.
When I want create a new document I have to click in this input area and remove manualy old value...Have a good day,

Dialogue menus don't show up in the dark theme

Shear degrees not working in Transform window latest version 25.0.1
Using the shear in the transform window works but not correctly, When using an arrow to shear an item, the number switches from 0 degrees to 1 degrees and then back to 0 degrees and does not hold the changed degrees number but does shear the item. so if you want to shear say 15 degrees you can push the arrow key 15 times and it will work or you can type in 15., BUT will revert back to 0 degrees so you have no clue how much it is sheared. Rotation degrees works fine in the same transform window.…

Dock does not hide when toggling full screen
Hello, I'm using MacOS High Sierra and Catalina, however the dock does not hide when toggling full screen in Illustrator and photoshop, like any other apps. Any help ??

Color Panel changes back from HSL to RGB after restart
This is a very old and very annoying "feature". If you work in HSL mode and you have your all palets setup to HSL, after you close illustrator all you palets will reset to RGB.
This is counterproductive and bad user experience as Illustrator should save your preferred option and open your palets as you left them.1 vote -

spell check locks AI without file already open to spell check
I had opened Illustrator 2020 and wanted to open a file from the server, so I typed command+o on my Macintosh, but missed the "o" and hit command + "i" instead. [the keys are adjacent] This brought up the spell checker, without an open file. And there was no way to close the spell check window at all. the only buttons available were "start" or "done" which had no effect on the popover window. I had to force quit Illustrator 2020 to move forward. UI window closure buttons on the popover would have obviated this situation.

Notification Messages are gibberish
Notifications in Illustrator appear with broken nonsensical text. Just random letters crossing over each other. See screenshot
