CPU Preview defaults even for basic usage (Macbook Pro 2019)
CPU Preview is forced even with basic files with horrible performance. Can not choose GPU Preview after a few moment.

Illustrator 2021 and 2022 Zoom not working correctly after OS update to Monterey
Like the title says, after update to Monterey.... when using Illustrator 21 or 22 when zooming into an object, either vector, tiff, eps on the document the screen goes gray about 150% to 300%. I have reset many things, GPU.... reset preferences, colors, overprint off and on.... nothing seems to correct it. This happened Only after going from Big Sur to Monterey. Attached is a screen shot at 100% zoom, then the same art at 300%. The art is all vector, that really doesn't matter, vector and images act the same when zooming. Screen bug, pixels
I create a new file and the screen starts to pixelize, If I move the mouse the pixels move too and they don't disappear

Select tool
Whenever I form a shape with the Rectangle Tool, the Select Tool won't provide the option to resize the selected shape.

Illustrator selecting Folder name and renaming file when saving into Folder
When saving an Illustrator file - and InDesign also - I click the name of the folder that file is to go into and the filename changes to that folder's name. Why is this happening? Why was this not found when debugging these very expensive applications before throwing them at subscribers and hoping they will work? Really not professional. We pay far too much money for stupid things like this to happen. Needs to be fixed immediately. InDesign also.

Very Slow
I just updated my MacBook Pro (16 inch, 2019) to OS Monterey 12.2.1 and my Illustrator is CS 26.0.3. It is very difficult to use my files from last week. The cursor sits there spinning the beach ball, I'm seeing artifacts and artwork disappears, I can't even drag a simple pattern tile across my page. I use slightly complex artwork year in and year out as a product designer. But with the most current Mac update, something went wrong. I've rebooted, cleared my cookies, all the usual things. Please help!

First time use of the Library bug
Hardly worth reporting but happens consistently for me: the first time I use the Library after opening Illustrator, upon choosing what I want to place, the library panel closes (before I can complete the place command). When I open the palette again and choose the item, it works fine. That's it.

In apps that use plain text, the text is pasted as text, while in apps like Keynote or Pages, the text is used as an image. The only workaround is via plain-text-Apps like TextEdit et al.
How can this issue be solved?

Incorrect prompt for color profile when opening documents
Despite adjusting the Color Settings so that Profile Mismatches and Missing profiles are all unticked, I always get an error message when opening a document which says "Your current colour settings honour CMYK profiles in linked content but profiles were set to be ignored when this document was created".
There doesn't seem to be any way of stopping these annoying error messages. How do I set up Illustrator to ignore profiles in linked content, like it was when the document was created? Or alternatively to add a default CMYK profile to the linked content automatically?

Zoom difetto
Con l'aggiornamento del sistema operativo Mac OS 12 non si riesce ad avvicinare con lo zoom, il valore dipende dal file da 400%, si files più leggeri si arriva a 600%

Unembeding image to .PSD change resolution
I noticed recently that on my new MacBookPro 16 - M1 Max on macOS 12.1 Monterey, with AI 26.0.2 when I unembed an image to .PSD format, the extracted image is resampled and the résolution is changed. Only PSD format does that. Choosing TIF is working as expected.
This is not happening on my old MacBook running the same AI version but on macOS Catalina.
So I don’t know where the bug is: On Monterey or in the M1Max Chip.

Copying and pasting figures from graph-pad prism into AI no longer works.
Windows 10, Current 2022 AI, Graph Pad Prism ver 9.2 current version. With previous versions of both software could easily cut and paste Figures from Prism into illustrator. now I get "operation cannot complete because of an unknown error" followed by a partial pasting of the figure.

animated zoom malfunctions after placing images in illustrator
When I place files from photoshop into illustrator, the animated zoom malfunctions. It's still turned on in the preferences, but it just doesn't work. This has been a problem for several months. It doesn't have to be a .psd file, it seems to be any format (admittedly, I haven't tried every possibility). Running os 11.6 & & Illustrator 26.0–however, this started showing up in previous versions.
Yet another of hundreds of bugs that now plague this once great program. I'm tired of constantly using workarounds (that impede and drastically slow my workflow) to utilize illustrator. Not like it'll ever get…

Text increase size turns to white block
When I am placing a text box, once editing the text, and I try to increase it's Size atall, the fill colour Keeps turning to white on it's own so any text then appears as a weird white block — once I delete the text, part of the box glitches and stays on screen. l am also having issues in being able to use the brush tool, with it just appearing as a symbol. This makes the program unusable. It is a school account

Illustrator Version 26.0.2
Recent attempts to use illustrator on my desktop and laptop have yielded an app that cannot render text in any form. I have tried every solution offered thus far -- resetting preferences, checking text fill and stroke, ensuring opacity is Normal, etc. and nothing fixes this bug. I have restarted the computer and reinstalled the program. For my work this is a program-breaking bug.
