1. dots (.) on units

   when typing units, in any case (like sizing a square, or the width of a line), we were able to use the dot (.) for decimals, now it only reads the commas (,). So if i create a square (or any other object) and type on size something as: 3.5mm, it reads it as 35mm, if i want a 3.5mm square, i need to type 3,5mm (with a comma).

   it is more practical to accept the dot, since it is right there at the numpad on the keyboard.

   can we go back to that?

2. A number of my panels will not open - e.g.: when I click to expand the character panel, all I get below is a black box.

   Many of my panels still open as they should. However, I'm having this problem with the info, character, paragraph, properties, stroke and align panels. Any help on what could fix it would be greatly appreciated? I've searched on the adobe support community and google and no one else seems to be having this problem. Thanks!

3. Bizarre Blending Behavior

   When blending from one object to another, everything works great unless I want to expand the shapes, and then things get a little bizarre. i use this tool quite a bit and when expanding my blends, since CC 2019, I've never had a problem until now.

   Not sure how to fix this other than rebuild the shapes... but this time it's a simple shape. Other times, it was not. Very inconvenient. Bewildered.

4. Illustrator CC2019 - blank control panel

   I have Illustrator 23.0.3 (CC2019).
   Each time I now open it, my UI is reset with no tools on screen. Only the workspace appears.
   I have to make them appear each time I reopen Illustrator.
   Have a solution ?

6. Illustrator 2019 inoperable after Windows 7 update

   Windows 7, CC 2019, 64-bit PC:

   Since latest Windows 7 update, Illustrator opens but none of the tools work, and the pull-downs roll back up before I can select one. Coworker with Illustrator 2017 has the same problem. Photoshop and Acrobat work.

   Also, after the second-to-last Windows 7 update, we can no longer print a second PDF after making the first one, from any program (Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD...). We still have this problem too.

7. GPU rendering problem. - My graphics appear pixelated at certain zoom levels. Comes and goes. Very annoying when working.

   This happened a few months or weeks ago.

   I am using Macbook Pro - 2017
   OS version: Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132)
   Adobe Illustrator: 23.0.4
   This issue disappears when I turn of GPU rendering but I am used to working with GPU rendering ON.

   I am hoping for a fix on this soon or maybe there is already. please let me know. Thanks :)

8. Text Boxes & resizing objects in Illustrator Behaving Strangely

   This might be difficult to explain, but at the moment, when pasting text within Illustrator (it can be from a different artboard within the doc, or from a different Illustrator doc, or Word, basically it doesn't seem to matter where the text comes from) or if just create a new text box and type within it, and try to resize the box, it seems to create more text boxes within the main box, and the text would 'snap' into the smaller box. If I stretch the box wider, the text will 'snap' back into the bigger box again, and I can then delete the randomly created text box as it is empty and not affected anymore. If I keep moving the edges of the text box around, every time the text within it is affected by moving or not having enough space it will just pop a new box. It will carry on indefinitely as long as I'm shifting the size around.

   This only happens when creating text boxes that you can resize without affecting the size of the text inside it. Typing without a text box seems to be fine. It has also started doing it with any objects within Illustrator. For example, I create a basic rectangle shape. Then, using the bounding box, I drag a corner to resize it, and as I do that, it is generating more rectangles as I go. In the layers panel, they are listed as normal, as if I duplicated the shapes or text boxes.

11. New Document > Bleeds behaving strangely

    1. In the New Document window, begin by unlinking the bleed settings.
    2. Set your top bleed to any non-zero value.
    3. Click the link to re-link the bleed settings. All 4 settings will appear to change automatically, to match the top bleed set in step 2.
    4. Click OK

    Unexpected result: A new document appears with only a top bleed, instead of matching bleeds on all 4 sides.

    Tested with the same results on Mac and Windows, both running Illlustrator 23.0.3

    EDIT: Sorry, just realised I hadn't specified, this error is in the legacy New Document window, not the new one.

14. preferenes file corrupt

    almost every 2nd-3rd time I launch Illustrator I get this error message about a corrupt preferences file and my workspace is reset to the default. very annoying

15. Scatter Brush - cannot make adjustments

    Mac OS 10.14.1 Illustrator 23.0.1 Scatter Brush dialog will not Preview adjustments, will not accept "OK." Must Cancel and lose adjustments to leave dialog.

16. 4K Display Proportion or scaling distortion

    I'm having the following problem which has been noted as a bug by Adobe support:
    When creating a square image or artboard on a 4K monitor (mine's a Samsung U28-E590) the rendered image or artboard (and anything else really) is made longer in the X/horizontal dimension. So a 130 x 130mm block measures 130 x 135mm when measured with a physical ruler at 1:1 scale.

    By simply moving the entire application window over to the Macbook side the proportions are displayed correctly and the X and Y sides are identical. This issue arrises regardless of starting up Ai on the Macbook Pro monitor side, or the 4K display side.

    The issue persists with HDMI and DisplayPort, at MacOS's "Default for Display" setting and the "Scaled" settings. I'v ensured it's not a on-screen setting either that could be causing this problem.
    With higher than 1080 displays like 4K and 5K becoming preferred screen sizes this should be looked into please. Unless I'm doing something wrong and support does not know how to resolve this, I see no other way than to report it as a bug.

17. eps import slow (e.g. for eps created in Matlab)

    The import of eps-files created in other programs (e.g. Matlab) is slow: opening a file of 10 kb can take 10-30 seconds. Why?

    I am using AI CC 22.1.

18. Color picker works weird with gradient sliders

    Sometimes Color Picker, summoned for SELECTED color gradient slider with double-click on Fill in toolbox, shows color Black instead of actual color, but when applied, turns color to white even.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

19. Problems with Illustrator crashing when printing ink separations as a PDF

    I'm having problems with Illustrator crashing when printing ink separations as a PDF. I didn't have the issue before, but now I am. Thankfully I'm able to print my separations to the RIP just fine, so work can progress. However when I try to print separations as a PDF to look them over before sending to the rip, the program freezes and eventually crashes. Does anyone know why this happens and how it can be resolved?

20. Illustrator stops, not responding

    Operating system is Windows 7 Enterprise, Illustrator is CC 2018 or 2019. I begin to work for only 15 sec and then the program pauses with the blue spinning wheel. If I click again the screen shows a (not responding) title at the top and goes grey. This process takes another 15 sec and then snaps back into place and works again, but only for another 15 sec and repeats. I've opened and closed the program several times and also restarted the computer but no change. This only happens in Illustrator and no other CC programs I use. Any ideas would greatly help. Thanks
