1. Can only open 1 Ai file at a time

   Can only open one Ai file at a time. If current Ai file open is open in Illustrator and you try to open another file concurrently through all means, it will not open. The only way around this is to open each file in a different version of Illustrator, or completely close Ai to open the new file.

3. Illustrator Font problem :((

   A client's custom font that shows up InDesign and Photoshop is not showing up in Illustrator?!?!?!?!? What is the problem??? And how can I fix this?????

   I have Font Book and have never had a problem, now I am trying to reload, restart, test, etc to get the font to show up with no luck.

   Any ideas?

4. Type and Text Sizing

   Illustrator CC 2017

   I was adding a Type/Text box into my design when Adobe Illustrator stopped working and not responding. Then when I was able to get it back up I could place a Type/Text box in my design but the box was filled with lines and lines of unwanted text. I got that fixed but now the text comes up at barely 1/16th of an inch and I am unable to change the font size. I have done everything that everyone has suggested and I have also uninstalled the program and re-installed it and the problem is still occurring. I really need to get this fixed ASAP

5. Swatches disappear

   I've been experiencing this phenomena in which my swatches would disappear every now and then. One day, I'll have all the default swatches available in the swatch menu, other days, it'll only be the color white.

6. Illustrator CC 2017 (macOS 10.13) crashes unexpectedly in High Sierra.

   I was creating a second artboard and about to save my file when the program just crashed. This is the third time this has happened since I upgraded and before I realized there was a compatibility issue. Also, when opening Illustrator first thing in the morning after turning the computer on, it is back to taking a long time to open, usually getting hung up on the Perspective.aip.

7. High Sierra: "Package" function doesn't work

   Hi everyone. On High Sierra the "Package" function doesn't work properly (Illustrator 21.1.0). The fonts are packed completely, the links sometimes too, but often there are a lot missing links. The document itself is not saved into the packed folder. A message appears, that the packaging couldn't be done.

8. Dialog Box Behind App - Force Quit

   1. 21.1.0 (macOS sierra v10.12.6 (16G29))

   2. This is happening more and more, and usually when first opening the application. If some dialog box, typically a warning or something, pops up but for some reason then gets pushed behind or hidden by the main app window, there is no way to get back to it and no way for the app to function. Trying to click on ANY part of the app just gets the "no - beep", the sound that plays when you are trying to do something but something else has to happen first... like if a warning box pops up and you try to click ANYWHERE on the app, it will beep at you until you accept/cancel the warning, THEN you can operate the app as normal.

   BUT, when this box becomes hidden or is just behind the app, nothing can get you back to it. You can't minimize the app because it just beeps at you, waiting for you to respond to the warning. You can CMD+Tab to other apps, but when you get back to Illustrator, it doesn't refresh of bring the warning box back.

   On the dock icon, there is a "Show all windows" option, but that doesn't fix the problem either.

   On the Menu Bar > Illustrator > Quit is grey-ed out, the Dock Icon "Quit" doesn't work, so all you can do is open the Activity Monitor and FORCE QUIT Illustrator. Then, reopen and hope it doesn't happen again.

   PLEASE fix this

9. High Sierra MacOS 10.13 Illustrator and navigation

   When I use Command+Tab to navigate between programs, I have to hide all open programs to see Illustrator's interface. The open palettes will display, but not the the document window, toolbar, application bar. When I try to hide Illustrator, only the palettes respond. Illustrator is generally sluggish with High Sierra.

12. Adobe illustrator CC 2017 Stoped working

    Adobe illustrator CC 2017 stopped working,
    when trying to open exsisting files or create new files in adobe illustratior cc 2017
    it comes up with error -

    a problem caused the program to stop working
    correctly. window will close the program and
    notify you if a solution is available.

15. zoom tool?

    did something happen to the simple command + and command - zoom keyboard shortcuts? I've been using those since 1995 or 6, and now when i use them it centers me on a specific, but unselected artboard?

16. After I type text, I can't correct a word. When I click on it it will select a new text box above it. I can only delete the entire text.

    After typing a word/paragraph, I can not delete any part of the word except I can select it and delete the entire word/text box. I just got illustrator a couple of months ago and I have always had a problem with it, but now it doesn't work at all. Help!

17. Text selection not showing highlighting after macOS High Sierra 10.13 download

    When selecting any text, the text is not highlighted, thus removing my ability to know what I have selected. I am running a mid 2010 MacBook Pro. All was working well until I updated to macOS High Sierra 10.13. I have done all work arounds with no success.

18. High Sierra drag/drop/copy/paste issues

    Drag/drop/copy/paste lags, doesn't work in Illustrator 21.1.0. Everything (click/drag/copy/copy/paste) is so slow that it doesn't appear to work. Even something as simple as Help/About fails.

19. File preview is corrupted, when bottom layer is hidden

    All Round Join/Round Cap strokes are incorrectly shown as Miter Join/Butt Cap in preview on MacOS when file is saved with bottom-most layer hidden. Contents or name of bottom layer do not change behavior.
