CC 2018 zoom!
CC 2018 zoom is zooming anywhere but where I want it, even with -preferences-zoom to selection OFF. Its driving me mad and slowing me down in designing, which I have deadlines every day. Please, please can you sort this?

Type object selection by path does not work at all while snap to grid is enabled.

new documents window with the same "template save" button like Photoshop CC
I think that the button to save an template how it works in photoshop is missing. And i hope that she comes... Finally, the rubric "saved" already exists.

Rendering Issue When Not Using Application Frame
When the Application Frame is turned off and a file is opened it does not render correctly. Instead broken sections of the screen appear. It's different each time. In order for the file to render the Application Frame must be turned on. It can then be turned back off if the user prefers not to work in the Application Frame. I have attached a screen grab of one of the files opened with the Application Frame turned off.

SVG files scaling issue
At the opening, AI does not take in consideration a transform define in a <use /> in a SVG file and all elements defined in this section have wriong scale (see displayingissue.png). This is not obsevable in any web browser and competitor tool. In attachement, inital SVG file and the file modified (*_AI.svg) to get correct displaying in AI.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Properties panel bug
When you edit word in properties panel and you want to change first few letters in word from normal to bold. It will show you change but when you deselect type tools it will change entire word to bold. But if you go trough type panel everything is fine.
And if you change stroke size in properties panel to 0,5 pt it will apply 5 pt, for 0,25 pt 25 pt and for 0,75pt 75pt stroke.

Strokes are become sporadic and missing in some places
Strokes are become sporadic and missing in some places. I don't know what the issue is. My strokes were perfect yesterday and now I update my mac and the strokes are now sporadic, jagged and missing in places. See screenshot.

Illustrator freezes - must close using Task Manager
Illustrator freezes, menus not accessible and/or if they open, it is blank. I can still select items on the artboard, but cannot use anything in menus and tools. Once Illustrator freezes, I cannot close unless I use the Task Manager.

Pen Tool preview disappears
After using Illustrator for a period of time - say, 15-20 minutes - the pen tool preview ("Rubber Band") stops appearing on screen, even though it is still activated in the preferences. Restarting Illustrator restores it, until it disappears again. And over and over again. This happens on multiple PCs, multiple configurations, multiple versions of Illustrator.

Expanded Objects have missing Corner Widgets
Problem occurs in all versions of Illustrator 21.x.x and 22.x.x
When an Object with a non-simple Appearance is Expanded the resulting shapes have Corner Widgets created for some of the corners but not for others.

"File --> New" or "Ctrl+N" fails to create new file in Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit)
After opening Illustrator, I'm only able to open existing files. Trying to create a new file by clicking "File --> New" in the menu, or clicking "Ctrl+N" results in a brief pause, but no new artboard or new file appears.

The file "Untitled" is an unknown format and cannot be opened
I was working on a file that I opened from Photoshop CC 2018 and after I saved it. I wanted to open it again and I got this message:
"The file "Untitled" is an unknown format and cannot be opened"I tried opening it again from photoshop and saved it as an ai. file. I went to open it again and I get the same error message: The file "Untitled" is an unknown format and cannot be opened

crashing
So, I updated to the latest version of illustrator about two weeks ago. Then I realised it crashed every 30 minutes or so, every single time i used it. I'm not doing anything particularly heavy, it just crashes randomly. and I often lose the work i've done as the auto save doesnt seem to catch the last few things I've been doing. So, I decided to uninstall and go back to the 2017 version. Which then lead to my documents having their own issues. all saving as transparent, or with weird lines going through them. secondary view moves when editing text
OSX 10.13.5, Illustrator 22.1.
When I have two windows open on the same document and start editing text, the inactive window will recenter its view on wherever my text cursor is.
Reproduction:
- Open a new document
- Draw something off on the side of it
- Zoom in on this thing
- view>new window
- arrange both windows so you can see them at once
- recenter the new window far away from the thing you drew in step 2
- in the window that's not showing the thing you drew in step 2 make a new text box, or create a new point type object

It does not highlight the page on the artboard window
I select a page from the artboard window. I navigate between pages with PageUp and PageDown on the keyboard.
I'm looking at the artboard window. but I do not see which page I am on. it does not highlight the page.
This problem came with the latest update. (Ullustrator version 22.0.0)

Layer panel not working with document multiple windows
Hi, I have the AI latest release (21.1.0) and I'm facing an issue with multiple windows on two different screens of the same project.
The layers panel is not responding when I want to open a layer tree, block and hide/show.I read there are some problems with the GPU preview so I tried to disabled it but the problem is still there.
I try to explain what I'm doing:
1. Open an empty New Document
2. Add two new layers
3. Draw something on every layer

Align not working when ALL items in a group are selected
Since updating to CC 2018, align to selection and align to artboard are not working when ALL items in a group are selected.
Align appears to work if ALL BUT ONE item in the group are selected ... but if the final item is selected, it stops working ... nothing happens.
This is not ideal as it means you then have to align the remaining item with the rest of the group manually ... with transform or by eye.

I am not able to reproduce the issue on my side and behavior is similar to Illustrator CC 2017 version. If you think behavior is changed in Illustrator CC 2018 kindly share a small video of Illustrator CC 2017 behavior and Illustrator CC 2018 behavior at sharewithai@adobe.com so I can further investigate it.

Computer restarted and I lost all unsaved work in Illustrator
Usually I get some sort of message that tells me I have unsaved work that was recovered but this time I did not. Illustrator wasn't even showing the most recent files to open. Using Illustrator CC version 22.0.1
