doesn't display proper illustration
It didn't happen in C6 version. The line and shape(colored) doesn't display accurately. (Ref. attached)

i get this error.
It seems i get it across both my systems
uninstalled and reinstalled illustrator (AiCC18)
i still get it...
seems to not affect the files them selves...(all seems well)

†6 votesThe issue seems to be file corruption, our support should be able to recover some of the information when you contact them. A file normally corrupts when the disk is not available during file wrote or when Illustrator crashes. We also do not support network drives which is prone to file corruption when writing large files.

Files Breaking on Save after creating Saved Swatch Library
Illustrator v22.0.1: We use art tiles to create repeat prints for textile printing. There is a bug that cause my original .eps files to become garbled after I have used that .eps file to create a saved swatch library. STEP1.png shows the original art file and its save options. STEP2.png shows creating a pattern from the art and its associated settings. STEP3.png shows saving the swatch library (I removed all of the standard Illustrator swatches as they are unnecessary for the custom swatch library). Adding a workspace crashes Illustrator
Illlustrator CC 2018 - build 22.01
Document with 5 A4 workspaces side by side, adding a new A4 workspace makes Illustrator crash immediately. No saving, no warning no nothing ...
The only way I can find is making a new dociument with the number of pages you need and copy the artwork. Good luck if you have several layers, and you have to redo everything if you need one more page.1 vote -
PDF size is extremely large
Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 version
When I save a file as PDF or even the original Ai. format the file becomes extremely large. This started to occurred after the latest update. The file contains 2 small artboards with a little bit of text (not much) and a few small icons, its 43 MB! it should be 10 MB or less.
The same happens when saving as PDF with (Illustrator default settings) File is TOO big, even if I change the settings of the PDF, it might drop to 15 MB.

Can´t save an open document!!
When I try to save an open document, AI say´s it can´t save as the file is open.
Well, obviously it is open, as I am working on it!
I have to rename the file. Then when I try to save the new file, same thing happens and I have to keep renaming files if I want to save my work.
Surely this is a bug.
Is this happening to anyone else??!

Layer Options Color Changes/Problem
I use Illustrator on an iMac. With the upgrade to CC 2018, the following happened:
1) In the Layers Palette, all layers colored Cyan changed to Yellow;
2) All layers colored Magenta changed to Cyan.By itself, this is not a terrible problem (disregarding Yellow as a terrible layer color to begin with!) The problem comes when I try to change them back.
When I open the Layer Options for a particular layer, I used to hit 'Tab' to take me to the Color, then 'C' to get Cyan. Now, it brings up a Custom window that I have to…

Wacom Cintiq major problem
Wacom Cintiq and Illustrator 22.0.1 doesn't work. Cintiq cursor is stopping to respond after 2 seconds. In other apps it works without problem. Issue appeared after latest update.

Files are plugged and then deleted !!
I made a very big job and then the computer got stuck and the file was deleted until the previous maintenance and destroyed 8 hours of work.

Can't click on properties dropdowns
I just updated AI to the newest release and suddenly I'm unable to access extended properties not displayed on the main panel nor will it let me select and change colors via the properties panel. I also don't like that you've all decided what tools I work with constantly, I need to be able to customize what I need to keep open for my workflow optimization. Because if I could, I could work around this bug.

Font Filter
Using Adobe Illustrator CC 2018.
I have the filter on for all font classes but when I click the similar fonts icon "No results found" comes up.

Illustartor cc 2018 Crashing when clicking the paintbrush tool or shape builder tool
Illustartor cc 2018 Crashing when clicking the paintbrush tool or shape builder tool in the tools panel. The "N" shortcut for the underlying pencil tool also crashes illustrator. I have reset preferences, but to no prevail.
I am not using GPU as Illustrator can not find my Nvidia GT540M

New Illustrator 2018 UI is not correct-missing panels and won't set workplace
This is what I get when opening the new Illustrator CC 2018. Wonky, slow to respond, no panels, workplace will not appear. THings lag and disappear randomly. Terrible!

2-finger track pad zooming glitch/delay on mac
Using 2-finger zoom with macbook pro track pad there is a major delay in Illustrator CC 2018.

My Version is Ai CC 2018
I opened Ai and try to load a new brush that i downloaded, the first time i did it by selecting the Other Library and choose the Brush file was fine but then on it just freeze everytime i do it, be fore i could even select the section that has the file, the application freeze1 vote -
Scatter brush rotation orientation to line.
When using a scatter brush with rotation set to the line (not page) the vertical orientation will randomly flip. For instance, when I'm using the scatter brush to create a bush with stems and leaves pointing up (natural orientation), after creating the line and applying the scatter brush sometimes the brush will apply pointing down.

Sudden problem with embedded bitmaps
I use embedded bitmaps for additional texture in my illustration. Since recently updating to the newest version of Adobe Illustrator CC, suddenly I am encountering a lot of problems with these-- they print irregularly, and create glitches when saving to some formats, like pngs. I have never encountered problems like this before.
