Font Suggestion and Cursor misbehaving
I'm already feeling a lot of regret for updating to CC 2018!
Now anytime I want to change a font, and I start typing in the name, no suggestions come up. Sometimes, the cursor jumps backwards and start inserting characters midway. I feel frustrated and fed up.1 voteHi Love,
Looks like your setting is set to “Search First work only”. Click on the search icon and from the drop down select “Search Entire Font Name”

Type reverting & doing all sorts of weird things
The new Illustrator's type feature behaves strangely. The font reverts to the 1 I chose previously when I do some things such as discard the Offset Path setting I've set for it it in the Appearance Panel.

Bug star with a radius of 0.
Since updating to #illustrator CC 2018, why it is now impossible to create a star with a radius of 0. I am a French trainer and it is now impossible to create a star with a radius of 0. I tested on PC and MAC and there is always this problem.

Illustrator opening as trial and not recognizing current subscription
when opening illustrator from CC app manager or directly from start menu,
illustrator does not allow to open full version even though I have pro subscription. There is a button to buy now but that just takes me to purchase an additional subscription which I'm paid up for. Selection tolerance issues using pen
When I'm using Surface Pen on my Surface Book Illustrator randomly starts to select nearest top objects instead of the highlighted one. It starts randomly but very often. Opening preferences and checking-unchecking anything then pressing OK temporary fixes this issue. If i'm using touchpad - everything is ok.
I've already reported this bug to Windows Ink Team (windowsink@microsoft.com), but am duplicating it here, because i'm not sure what is causing this issue. Windows 10 and Adobe apps were updated on the same day for me and both of them have a lot of issues, not only when i'm…1 vote -

When snap to grid is on, it will only create new text. It won't select existing text for editing - probably because it isn't on the grid. This never used to happen before the latest update.

GPU performance impossible with Intel(R) HD Graphics 530. Is this GPU needs to be replaced ?

When group is selected the "Make pixel perfect" option is missing in the proportes panel
The "Make pixel perfect" option for selected objects is missing when they are grouped, in the previous version it was easily accessible from the top right corner icons now have to dig in the Object menu.

Illustrator cc 2017 was perfect, 2018 is a nightmare!

Can´t save an open document
Illustrator CC v 21.1.0 (64bit)
When I am working a current, open document and I click Save in the File menu, Illustrator say´s it can´t save because the file is open. Well, obviously it is open, because I am working on it!
I have to Save As... and rename the file, (I usually add the date and time).
This is obvioulsy just a a little bug in the new update. Let me know if I can help.

Actually... Now Illustrator has frozen! So I can´t attach the message.

Brush edge dissapears. Can't see the shape of my brush. Randomly.
Cannot see the outline of my brush. Randomly it dissapears. It would be great if I was into random looks to what I do. But I'm not.
In fact, I'll hazard a guess that not many people paying close to £50/month are very into randomly varying results.

Incorrect file sizes
Importing work into After Effects adds 6 pixels to the file size — very generous. This software keeps on giving.

most fonts not rendering
I have to continually uninstall and reinstall 75% of my fonts! They show up in the panel, but do not render when selected. This is way beyond aggravating and is taking up hours of my time daily.
These are fonts on my hard drive, not typekit or any other font service. using Windows 10 and Illustrator CC 2018 (happened intermittently with 2017, now it's everytime I open Illustrator or let it sit open for more than a few hours)2 votesClosing the ticket since didn’t hear back from customer.

Illustrator menus won't scale down on external monitor for Lenovo Yoga
I am running Illustrator 2018 on my new Lenovo Yoga laptop. I am using external monitors and when using Illustrator on those external monitors, the menu's are bloated as if they were still retaining the "touch enabled" versions rather than the standard desktop versions. This is very annoying and I would greatly appreciate a fix. Thank you.

Illustrator freezes all the time
I am not able to use Illustrator at all. I have updated to the 2018 version. Every time I want to create new project or open existing one the program freezes. No matter if I have GPU Performance option on or off.

Saving PDF Security override by gmail
Dear sir or madam,
I've noticed as i saved PDF in CS6 to send to a Client and i used password protection with no permissions (printing, copying....)
And the thing is, if you open the email att. in this case My protected PDF in gmail preview - you can print it with no problems. And if you print to a PDF file, you get the same PD minus the Password protection.
I think this could be a big issue.
So i see google's gmail now as an easy fool proof password hack tool.

When clicked on file>export, the menus closes.
Operating System: MAC High Sierra
When clicking on export under FIle menu the menu closes, This is not expected as this might happen by mistake before the sub menu has opened.
This is also not consistent with photoshop file>export.
In photoshop when clicked on export menu under file, the menu will not get closed.1 vote -
Illustrator CC 2017 crashes computer on macOS 10.13 High Sierra
I didn't know there were serious compatibility issues between Adobe CC and macOS 10.13 High Sierra until after I upgraded.
Within seconds of launching Illustrator it freezes my entire machine and my only option is a hard reboot.
Please provide a status update on when this issue will be fixed. I rely on CC for my job and will have to migrate back to 10.12 Sierra in the interim.
