If you drag paragraph styles in the window to order, you cannot click on styles again.

Tool Windows Collapsed on Start
Tool windows collapsed on start — make tool windows not collapsed on start. This has happened to me before, I don't remember what fixed it. This doesn't happen if the start screen for MacBook children is used.

Cannot Scale Images or Text
As I'm illustrating on Illustrator, I cannot scale images or text suddenly. I would uninstall and re-install the program to get rid of the bug, but it keep returning randomly. I do not hit or click on any key or button to make this happen. Every time is comes back on its own unprovoked.
It happens on both my work and home macbook.
A text box, for example would be too small for the copy inside it, but I cannot expand the box because the box seems to be frozen in its exact shape.

Text Styles from library not applying to new text in Document
When I try to apply text and paragraph styles from CC Library to new text it doesn't work. The text doesn't change.
I have tried selecting the text with subselect tool, the text tool, double clicking the style in the library, right clicking the style in the library to apply to new text. It doesn't work, it used to.
I have CC version 2019

Can't file save as (illustrator files, pdf, eps etc), also can't open ai files
I can't save my files as any file types, I can export to png and jpeg, but when I try to save a file it just shows the spinning ball forever and does not save! It is not my laptop, as everything thing else is working as normal (including other Adobe programs which save files quickly)
If I also try and open an existing file it does the same thing!
I have tried re installing Illustrator which hasn't helped.My laptop is a Macbook pro mid 2012 (Mojave 10.14.1) with a new ssd installed. Adobe Illustrator is the lateset version…

home screen keeps loading
When starting Illustrator after the splash screen the Home screen keeps loading. It never loads, even after hours. Your man from the support center couldnt fix it either. You may disable the home screen in the prefs but thats a workaround I dont prefer. I found deleting your temp in users/username/appdata/local/temp works but thats plain ******** if you ask me. Solution? Please?

Keyboard shortcut for Offset path changes automatically
I use offset path a lot in my work, so I have set a keyboard shortcut for it. cmd+shft+Å. This has worked always, until now.
Now I cant even see the Obejct - Path - Offset path in keyboard shortcut setting panel. Still I see that this function has a shortcut, but not the one I have set. See pictures.
Now I noticed, that system changes the keyboard setting that i've made to Effect - Path - Offset path.
Is thee a way around, or is this something that I'll need to wait to be fixed?

GPU bug?
Can't select and release objects in illustrator, seems like the mouse button is pressed throughout. issue ends once clicked on Finder and out of illustrator. Issue started a few weeks after upgrading to Mojave and the CUDA NVIDIA driver couldn't be updated anymore.
Using Illustrator 2015.3 (as this used to support my GPU animated preview)
Tried reinstalling a few times and problems still persist.
Working on XD now, can't use most older vector files made in illustrator, a simple act like copying a vector out to XD is IMPOSSIBLE.

Unable to collect multiple assets for export
I am unable to collect multiple assets for export in Illustrator. I select several different layers and when I click collect for export as multiple assets they get compiled into a single asset. This is EXTREMELY inconvenient as I need to export 400 icons and I don't want to have to click into each one, exit isolation mode, collect as single asset 400 times.

making postscript file
i working with illustrator from cs4 and cs5.
in cs5 version of illustrator when i print my artwork to a postscript file with the generic post script driver, the default path for saving file was the path of saved current document or latest saved location, and that was very good and time saver for me.
but in CS6 and later versions, the default location for save file is "this pc" or my computer ...
and this is very time vested process.

Path guides center edges disappear when dragging a guide from the ruler
Path guides center edges disappear when dragging a guide from the ruler in CC, in previous versions you could quickly line up a guide to the center of a box now you have to zoom out to see the center. Another feature that worked great in previous versions now lost.
1 voteGuides no longer disappear when dragged on canvas or from rulers. However they still do if you move guides together with non-guides objects. Happens in GPU Preview mode only.

Opening info panel will crash pen tool!
If you use the pen tool and open the inof panel, Illustrator draws completely wired lines! What a bug...

Paragraph styles not properly justifying
I'm using the latest updated version of CC on mac High Sierra 10.13.6
When I just use the justify option in the paragraph window, the type will justify properly, but when I've tried to create a paragraph style, the type hangs outside of the text box, no matter what I do.
Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this a bug issue? And if so, any workarounds? I'm working on a file that needs a lot of type, and Illustrator is preferred over InDesign (which I've never had a problem with).

Whenever I use my Pen tool now, wherever I hold the tool, doesn't allow me to click at that spot, it will draw 1cm above/below my click.

1 voteMost probably you have a Snap enabled: to grid (in View menu) or to Pixel (in the top right corner of the Control panel ort in Properties panel).
Please check this.

recent mojave update 10.14.3 causing odd illustrator behavior?

4) basic commands not being fulfilled, eventual crashrecently illustrator has stopped functioning correctly for me. i realized that within the last week i upgraded from mojave 10.14.2 to 10.14.3 and that illustrator has been malfunctioning for me around the same time as i updated. i've tried trashing prefs, uninstalling illustrator and reinstalling and then trashing prefs again after still not working, uninstalling entire adobe creative cloud and reinstalling, it still won't work. some of the odd behavior is reminiscent of issues pertaining to gpu ive read on the forums so…

Stylus pen
Illustrator Cc2019 crashes when using Lenovo Yoga Surface pen in a Touch mode.
The surface pen is drawing in both Pen and Pencil tools but Illustrator crushes after a minute or two without an option of reporting.
It takes 7/8 file openings to finish a tracing illustration.4 votes
