Visual Bug
Updated to latest release of Illustrator, opened a PDF to encounter the bug shown in attached screenshot.
Windows 10
NVidia 980Hasn't appeared in any other file.
Bug is related to text that appears missing at bottom of PDF (three lines worth is blank), and disappears when I zoom into 300%.

Sudden problem with embedded bitmaps
I use embedded bitmaps for additional texture in my illustration. Since recently updating to the newest version of Adobe Illustrator CC, suddenly I am encountering a lot of problems with these-- they print irregularly, and create glitches when saving to some formats, like pngs. I have never encountered problems like this before.

Menu Issues
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Illustrator 22.0.1When the Application Frame is disabled, the menu items are displayed incorrectly. The "View" menu is attached.
I have reset the preferences and the menus seemed to work fine, but when I disabled the application frame, they went crazy again.

Can't save preview - error notice |
after simply saving an illustration
i get this error.
It seems i get it across both my systems
uninstalled and reinstalled illustrator (AiCC18)
i still get it...
seems to not affect the files them selves...(all seems well)
Just seems to be a bit anoying...kai
†6 votesThe issue seems to be file corruption, our support should be able to recover some of the information when you contact them. A file normally corrupts when the disk is not available during file wrote or when Illustrator crashes. We also do not support network drives which is prone to file corruption when writing large files.

Image File open but not showing up
When using the latest version of Illustrator cc I open vector images the image file opens however it is not visible, I do get visibility briefly when the file is shut down or resized from maximised within the program. It is only a fleeting view and disappears again when reopened or maximised?

Libraries Panel broken
Although the Libraries panel is open, I cannot select another library, it's stuck on the same one. When I pull up the menu to choose another and click on it, nothing changes. Been like this for a few weeks now.
46 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Pixel Preview option bug
- Illustrator CC 2018 (22.0.1)
- create a circle in the artboard (any size), then open a new window. choose one of these two windows to set view model with Pixel preview. nothing happened. and nothing changed in this window. if zoom in or out. still can see the scale value on the file title bar.

Stock Single Action Download?
There's no forum for Stock Photos so I decided to post here - Why is downloading an Adobe Stock image not at least a double-action before downloading? I went to see more of a photo, miss-clicked and before I could stop it, the image started downloading and I was minus one image credit for an image I can't use. Tech support told me they would issue a "one-time" image credit, but this reeks of opportunism. Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac) Crashes Affects ALL CC Programs
illustrator CC2018 crashes about every third or fourth time I "Save AS" an EPS. Freezes immediately AND freezes any open CC programs. Have to Force Quit all to restart each. This is getting old, fast.

illustrator 2018
Today i installed Illustrator last version.
When we click a smart object in photoshop, illustrator open bit doesnt open the vector we are trying to work from smart object.

Bug - Element Transparency not adjustable after setting transparency once.
CC 2018
Placing elements on pasteboard works fine. I adjusted the transparency of the element on layer to 40% over a red box. Now the element shows that transparency. If you try to revise the transparency the properties window shows the element at 100%. There is no way to adjust the transparency back to it's original 100% or know the current transparency.3 votes -
hebrew punctuation
hebrew punctuation problem.
right now (finally, thank you) you can write in hebrew right-to-left.
BUT the punctuation still comes out always in the wrong direction.
I attach an example.

Dynamic symbols automatically expands
When placing a dynamic symbol on an artboard, then re-opening the document it becomes "expanded" — the link to symbol gets broken. This only occurs with dynamic symbols.

When group is selected the "Make pixel perfect" option is missing in the proportes panel
The "Make pixel perfect" option for selected objects is missing when they are grouped, in the previous version it was easily accessible from the top right corner icons now have to dig in the Object menu.

There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object

- Launch AI, create a new document OR open an old one

Can not export to png or jpg
When I try to export to jpg I get this error that comes up to lower my resolution. I have tried lowering it to 150dpi and still does not work.
When I try to export to png it comes up with an unknown error "(!now)"
This is ridiculous as I should be able to export from illustrator at any dpi without these issues as this is an expensive professional product.

Optimize Illustrator
I've already optimized Illustrator for my graphics card. I keep getting the notification for it, even though I've done it.
I could turn off the notification, but I'd rather get important Adobe update news.
Can the message be automatically deactivated if we've already optimized?

2-finger track pad zooming glitch/delay on mac
Using 2-finger zoom with macbook pro track pad there is a major delay in Illustrator CC 2018.

Precision touchpad scroll jittering
On my XPS 13 9360, I am having issues when scrolling horizontally or vertically. The scrolling is not fluid; when scrolling at low speeds, the canvas actually scrolls the incorrect direction. This is present in dropdown menus as well. It seems like there are two scrolling actions that are fighting each other, but I am not sure.
