  1. Can't select or hide layers, AI instantly changes it back

    All was fine, until I discovered I can't change layers' visibility or lock them.
    Restart won't help. Please see animation attached and document shown.

    I remember I had this bug before but it somehow went away.

  3. CMD+D issue...

    I used to be able to copy and paste an object and then CMD+D to continue duplicating but it doesn't seem to work at all in Illustrator CC 2018...I downloaded CC 2017 again where it used to work, but it doesn't work with that either and doesn't even seem to be a feature anymore. Does anyone have any way to fix this? Thank you!

  4. Windows Illustrator CC 22.0.0

    GPU performance impossible with Intel(R) HD Graphics 530. Is this GPU needs to be replaced ?
    There is a bug when moving the bloc (purple). The rendering of graphics is wrong and clipping.

  6. Illustrator CC won't embed color profile correctly

    Windows 10 64-Bit
    Illustrator 22.0.1

    Whenever I am saving an Illustrator .ai file with the checkbox for embed color profile checked, the resulting file does not have a color profile embedded correctly. When I reopen that file in Illustrator it seems to have the correct profile embedded but in Bridge or InDesign the file appears to have no color profile attached. If I export the same file as .psd file Illustrator embeds the color profile correctly.
    My colormanagment is synched via Bridge.

  7. New Illustrator 2018 UI is not correct-missing panels and won't set workplace

    This is what I get when opening the new Illustrator CC 2018. Wonky, slow to respond, no panels, workplace will not appear. THings lag and disappear randomly. Terrible!
    On WIN 10 Enterprise 64 byte Dell Desktop Nvidia Quatro K4000 video card. 4K monitor

  8. place 1 bit TIFF and rotate at Illustrator 22.0.1

    When place 1 bit TIFF and rotate image, CC2018(22.0.1)'s view is wrong.

    fig.1 work view both CC2017 and CC2018.

  9. Home Screen and New Document dialog are rendered glitchy, with partial duplicates of their content layered

    Upon opening the 2018 CC apps the welcome/launch and the New File screens have 2 layers attached and thus makes it hard to select the file or action that I want.

  10. When clicked on file>export, the menus closes.

    Operating System: MAC High Sierra

    When clicking on export under FIle menu the menu closes, This is not expected as this might happen by mistake before the sub menu has opened.

    This is also not consistent with photoshop file>export.
    In photoshop when clicked on export menu under file, the menu will not get closed.

  11. Round caps for a stroke turn into butt caps when expanded or outlined

    New bugs for Illustrator CC 22.0.1.

    1. make Path Line(pen tool), set Stroke Weight, set Round Cap
    2. use "Outline Stroke" in "Path" menu in "Object" menu" (or "Expand" in "Object" menu")
    3. confirm result

    The state of the start point or the end point changes from before processing.

  12. CC 2018 line Mode

    Not really sure (Im new to this program) How to describe this, But I'm sure it's not the norm.

    Graph work on logo in line mode zoomed in.

    I would also love to see a way to select multiple paths after creating them in the layers panel. One by one is tedious.

  13. SVG Export ignores layer id <g> tag for some artboards and layers, but not all of them

    When exporting to SVG, some tags are ignored and some are not for the same document and export event.
    I tried reproducing the problem and were successful.
    Also, I tried fixing the problem and were, in a sense, successful.

    Fixed it using the assets option on the export panel: it creates 2 layers <g> tags. One of them has the correct naming (stroke) and the other is just generic (Layer2). The compiler put stroke inside layer2. Not good for my automation process and where did layer_2 come from? I did not create it.

  14. Invalid Export Location

    When I "Export Selection" on an artboard, the "Export for Screens" window comes up. I select the asset, and choose the export location. No matter what location I choose I get an error upon export - "Invalid Export Location".

  15. Inconsistent dot/comma stroke pulldown menus

    just noticed something strange in the pulldown menu of the new Properties panel. The values for thickness are marked with a dot for decimals, while all the other panels use a comma.

    In the picture you can see the pull down showing values with ".xx pt" while the stroke has a thickness of ",xx pt" (obtained through the Strokes panel)

    This causes the 0.5pt selection in the Properties menu to make strokes with a 5 pt thickness, and NOT 0.5 pt.
    (When I select the thickness through the regular Strokes panel it says 0,5 pt and ends up with 0,5…

  16. Text Boxes won't Scale or Flip

    1. IllustratorCC 22.0.1 running under OSX 10.12.6

    2. Select text box and either attempt to flip (Reflect tool using vertical axis) or scale using the Scale tool. Scale fails both dragging to scale, or double-clicking the Scale tool and inputting numeric scale value.

    3. Text box scales or flips horizontal, as in all previous versions of AI.

    4. Error message reading: "Can't scale the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects too large."

  17. PDF size is extremely large

    Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 version

    When I save a file as PDF or even the original Ai. format the file becomes extremely large. This started to occurred after the latest update. The file contains 2 small artboards with a little bit of text (not much) and a few small icons, its 43 MB! it should be 10 MB or less.

    The same happens when saving as PDF with (Illustrator default settings) File is TOO big, even if I change the settings of the PDF, it might drop to 15 MB.

  18. Cannot set tint percentage to C (cyan) value except by sliding cursor

    Illustrator CC 2018
    Windows 10

    If I want to set the tint value of a CMYK colour to the same percentage as the Cyan number (66 in the example below), my only option is to slide the cursor, because typing the value or raching the value with the keyboard arrows don't work.

    This was already an issue with CS6, on both Mac and PC.

  19. Can't move paragraph indent markers back to 0 in tab panel

    Illustrator CC 2018
    Windows 10

    When I try to move the top or bottom indent markers back to zero, it snaps back to its original place.
    If I type 0 in the X: box, it doesn't work.
    If I set it to 1, cliclk in the X: box and press the down arrow on my keyboard, it doens't work.

    The only way to set it back is via the Paragraph panel.

  20. With multiple selection, you have to wait before clicking on key object

    Illustrator CC 2018
    Windows 10

    With a multiple selection, if the last object you click is the one you want to align to, you have to wait a little bit before re-clicking to set it as key object, otherwise it will go into Isolation mode or Symbol edition mode (if it's a Symbol).
