Effects on objects same and different colour issues
Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6As per video, when setting multiple objects with the same colour (Global or not) and then applying any Effect, there seems to be no Effect applied where it worked in previous versions of Illustrator. There also seems to be no effects sometimes on objects with different colours.

Colour changes on Multiple Objects in Color Panel issues
Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6As per video, when trying to change colour of multiple objects in the Color Panel when colours aren’t set to Global, under CMYK settings I enter 0,0,0,0, hit Enter/Return on my keyboard, and nothing changes.
When the multiple objects all have colours that are set to Global, the Color Panel has other odd issues. Selecting CMYK, greyscale brings up no settings, but RGB, HSB does, though odd settings show up.

Color Panel changing multiple swatches issues
Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6In the past using with CS5, I was able to select multiple swatches in the colour panel, double click, and then change properties such as “Global”. As per the video in AI CC 2018, I select multiple swatches, double click, and it only opens the panel for the colour I clicked on. I’m only able to change multiple colours by clicking on the Swatch Options.
I don’t know if this is a bug or a feature that was dropped, but it would be nice to have it back for more efficiency.

Character Properties disappears in "Draw Inside" / clipping group
Can't access the Character Properties (like changing font/size/line height) while in "Draw Inside" mode. I have to create/edit text in my main layer and cut/paste it in the "Draw Inside" object.

I can draw a selection square, and then right click for context menu, but AI doesn't manage to select anything.

Illustrator crashes for no reason multiples times a day
While using the latest (up to date) version of illustrator CC 2018 on my macbook pro (High Sierra 10.13.1) I get constant crashes on illustrator, forcing me to restart the computer as it freezes and does not recover. These are a few of the instances when this has occured:
- Changing between an Indesign open window and a Illustrator open window/document.
- Zooming in/out.
- Pasting copied objects from another open illustrator project.
- Moving an object inside a canvas.
- Creating new canvas in an open document.
-- and the list goes onI use my mac always connected…

Maintain Width and Height proportions lock button in Properties panel behaves as if locked, while the button is not pressed
The Ai I'm running has this strange bug where upon making a new document the Transform section under the Properties Panel will have the 'Maintain W & H' lock activated; however the icon does not indicate as such. It will show the function as in active.
So every time I were to scale an item with no intention of keeping it's initial proportions, the function will scale it proportionately.

Artboard edge shows behind an object of the same size as the artboard
- CC 22.0.1 (32-bit)
- I'm creating a favicon, I started out at 164 px by 164 px and used Shift + Alt to resize it to 50 px by 50 px. Then I changed the size of the Artboard to 50 px by 50 px.
- I expected everything to line up and look right.
- A small white edge of the Artboard is visible on the right side of the drawing

Illustrator CC 18 freezing on macOS High Sierra
Ever since upgrading to 2018 Illustrator, it frequently freezes my entire screen after performing simple actions such as moving or rotating objects. Have had to hard-reboot my MacBook Pro 2016 (Touch Bar version) several times which is obviously not good for the system. This is not an issue with any of the other Adobe CC apps I have installed, Photoshop/InDesign/Premiere Pro etc. all work perfectly fine. Please resolve this ASAP - I rely on Illustrator for my work.

eyedropper tool
I have never had to ungroup objects to get the eye dropper tool to apply selected attributes to an object. This no longer works without ungrouping objects.
I have never had to ungroup objects to change the color of an object selecting a color from swatches. This no longer works without ungrouping objects.
I have posted a thread with all the screenshots you could ever need and the this appears to be a glitch that needs fixing...really, really bad. The solution to the issue from my thread was to post the problem here.

Holding Alt while dragging an object to copy / duplicate it doesn’t works
I am curious if anyone has ran into the same problem or even knows how to fix this problem.
I am using illustrator 2018 and I can not use the Alt-click-drag method to duplicate.

Can´t save an open document
Illustrator CC v 21.1.0 (64bit)
When I am working a current, open document and I click Save in the File menu, Illustrator say´s it can´t save because the file is open. Well, obviously it is open, because I am working on it!
I have to Save As... and rename the file, (I usually add the date and time).
This is obvioulsy just a a little bug in the new update. Let me know if I can help.

Actually... Now Illustrator has frozen! So I can´t attach the message.

Properties Panel allows to edit Transform values when there is no selection
The panels still show you properties even if nothing is selected. So you can tweak them all you want, just to notice you’re actually not modifying anything.
If nothing is selected they should be disabled

Shaper tool eraser bug
When I scribble over an extra line with the shaper tool the line disappears. if I copy/paste or move the object, the line reappears. its really frustrating that I cannot copy and paste my drawing and makes the shaper tool useless for me. any way to fix this? I added a photo with the extra lines

Vectors disappearing
When working on art-boards with a lot of vectors, not all of them show up. It's as if it can't handle working with that many.

PDF does not preserve Illustrator editing capabilities!!
I upgraded two days ago to the new version of Illustrator. I've been saving PDFs with 'Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities' for years. Now when I do it, it's flattening the PDFs and not allowing editing as normal. It has totally ruined two of my complex files and I've lost hours of work.
Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix?
So frustrating!

CC降存CS3工作區域不見
自升級為CC2018後，將檔案降存為CS3版本後，再開啟CS3版的檔案時，原本的工作區域會只剩下工作區域1，其他都只剩工作區域參考線，這是以前未出現的問題。
1)而後嘗試改回CC2017還是有一樣的問題。

Illustrator crashes when editing a graph column design
Illustrator crashes when editing a column design with the graph tool. Editing a text box that is linked to the data causes an error "Can't edit type." and types a character. Then I try editing the text again causes the previous character to be typed, the current one and the error. Sometimes illustrator crashes when the type turns to a black fill. Also, editing the column design makes the graph transform vertically and horizontally. Attached is an example.

CC 2018 Multiply Blend Mode Incorrect
CC 2018 & Mac Sierra
If you apply multiply blend mode to a path, group that and apply multiply again at the group level, you now get 2x multiply. This is wrong whether you look at this from a process ink or spot color printing.
Omg the uploaded example, I am expecting both left and right sides to be identical to each other, as in versions prior to CC2018.
We often get files from designers who will try to make a color look good on screen, and printing off a color laser printer. You could for example draw 2 overlapping…

1. This issue is reproducible in CPU, GPU Rendering and Print Preview(thumbnail).
2. Reproducible in older versions as well including Illustrator CS6 (not a new break in CC 2018)
3. Works fine in Overprint Preview
4. Works fine in Print & PDFPlease confirm above observation match with the problem reported in this issue

Can’t use kerning between two characters with Cintiq plugged in
I can’t use the "kerning between two letters" in the Character panel when working on my Imac with Cintiq plugged in. This part of the Character panel is set to "Auto". The pop up with "metric" and "optical" is not showing up. I can kern between two characters manually, but would like to set a whole word to "optical". The bug disappears when I am plugging off my Cintiq and working with the mouse on my Imac. Horrible. Fix this.
