High Sierra (macOS 10.13) GPU rendering issues with RGB document - Intel Graphics
Illustrator 21.1.0 has issues with GPU rendering in the latest High Sierra public betas:
Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly.
Altering the zoom level affects these artefacts.
Switching off GPU rendering altogether fixes the issue but this way, performance is obviously affected.
Additional Note: Works correctly in CMYK document.
the issue has been resolved by Appple in macOSX 10.13.4
Please upgrade to resolve the issue

Is the 10.13.4 beta safe to install then? How is the overall stability of the system?
Else this is not a viable option. -
Stefan commented
The issue "seems" to be resolved, BUT now a new issue has surfaced from the suggested resolution to beta.

If you have a 13" MacBook Pro like I once did your are asking for trouble regarding anything graphically, given those models only support 1.5GB of VRAM when the "minimum Requirements" for Adobe Software is 2GB" and that is the "minimum" not the Recommended. So go get yourself a 15" MacBook Pro or Higher and save yourself the headache like I went though. -

my inDesign worked great until I upgraded to High sierra a few weeks ago. now my files are glitchy as all get out. i know there are only like, 3 people working on an app at any given time at adobe hq, but i'd love a fix sooner rather than later.

What's the ETA on the fix here? Do I need to return my new, expensive mbp 13" for a 15"?

This is absolutely insane. Adobe makes GARBAGE software. I am downloading SketchApp right now because Illustrator is no longer a viable option for my business. I am very disappointed with Adobe. They want an arm and a leg for their software but they don't care if it works or not.

Add the 'Intel Iris Graphics 540 1536 MB' to your list.
This is infuriating, one side shifts the blame and attention to the other side, and vice versa. Either we get graphics cards replacements or our monthly subscriptions for Adobe CC to be refunded or credited. In my eyes, this is a software issue, so it's looking like the latter option.

Seriously. I just dropped 3k on a personal MBP and I can't see an Illustrator file properly in RGB mode or with GPU on? OY!
Not sure who to send my-side eye to, be it Apple or Adobe, but WHAT IS GOING ON? this has been an issue for MONTHS

Same problem in InDesign, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop - all CMYK and RGB. Switching to CPU fixes rendering. Switching back to GPU brings rendering issues back. High Sierra version 10.13.3

I have rendering issues in CMYK file mode, in both CPU and GPU previews. Issue occurs zooming on objects in the perspective grid. Some objects on the grid go "flat" to 2D when zoomed. Illustrator 22.0.1, High Sierra 10.13.3, iMac 4ghz i7, Radeon R9 2gb.

why do I pay for cc when I cannot use it?

is this issue affecting the actual file, or just how I see it?

It takes about 6 months now to fix it, and still nothing. WTF?? You do not really care about your customers do you?

Only option we have is to turn off the CPU performance and of course – it runs slow as ****.
Please fix this, we designers need to get things done under the very tight deadlines and this issue really slows us down. It's bit overwhelming cause I pay yearly for Adobe CC and it's been a couple of months now without anyone taking care of a case or getting anything fixed.

I'm having the same issue in El Capitan. Probably not only a High Sierra issue.
