Can't save files in Catalina
With the new OS Catalina, Illustrator no longer can save, save as or export any file. This is a critical issue. Not sure how it would be missed in testing. is it a known issue and being worked on?
We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 24.0.0

That's good to know. Been dying for a workaround of some sort. Thanks for that. Hopefully this issue gets resolved soon.

I'm having the same issue. Not sure if it's connected to upgrading to the new OS but I have the most recent version of Illustrator so it shouldn't...

Whenever I try to save a new file I am unable to save it. Neither the keyboard shortcut nor clicking directly on File> Save As... or Save as Copy... bring up the save dialog box. It's as though those commands are completely unresponsive. The program doesn't freeze or crash and I can continue to work in my document after I attempt to save, but I cannot seem to save any of the work that I've done to a new file. I can however edit and save an existing file in which case the File> Save function seems to be working just fine. Now noticing that a number of menu options are unresponsive. Some work but some don't.

I found if you boot the Mac in Safe Mode the functionality returns. Unfortunately returning the Mac to standard boot and the problem returns. It is also happening for me in Premier and After Effects.

I am having the same problem - booting in Safe Mode makes it work again. But booting back out of safe mode and it stops working.
Also After Effects and Premier have the same problem.

Nothing happens once pressed on any input that require Finder to show up, meaning that it seems impossible to save or export anything made on Illustrator CC 2019 (last update to date).
I've updated today to macOS 10.15 (Catalina)
