In Illustrator 30.6, if you enable the "Link Proportions" option in the Transform panel and resize a shape,
and then disable the link and resize it again, the size changes as if it were still linked.
You have to enable and disable the link several times to unlink the resizing.

Transform isn't working correcty. The scale stays active even when I turn it off.

I have constrain proportions unchecked and when I try to change the width or height of a shape, it continues to constrain proportions even though it is unchecked in the transform box.

Ever since the v 30.6 update, constrain width and height proportions within the transform panel is not working properly. Even when disable, shapes continue to transform as if constrain width and height proportions is locked. There is no way to change just the width or just the height without creating an entirely new shape. The only way I've been able to fix this is by disabling constrain width and height, and completely restarting illustrator. Every time I toggle that on or off it breaks again.

It works as expected in Illustrator Beta version, been using that.

結果、illustratorを一度落として立ち上げ直しになる。
これが頻発しているせいで、一旦データの保存をする→イラレ落として立ち上げ直しを
繰り返しているので、作業が進まないので困っています。

This is a major issue. I often use illustrator to create jigs and templates for very nuanced prints. Sometimes adjustments are 100ths of an inch and visually on a screen, will not look like much has changed. But when printing on top of templates it cause cause major misalignments with small text. +100 critical. Thankfully i was able to catch this bug on my end in a simple design edit of an 11"x.25" rectangle.

3. After clicking 'Transform' in top bar and adjusting width or height - it scales the element proportionally even if the button is not selected or depressed. It seems to work when you can see the values displayed in the bar, but when you click the word 'Transform' it glitches, incredibly frustrating.

4. I want to only increase one value i.e. width and not the length, it adjusts both values whether the button is toggled on/off.

iMac 27" 2020, MacOS Tahoe 26.5.1 - Seit Illustrator Version 30.6. habe ich sporadisch, das Problem, dass sich die Eingabe einer gewünschten Höhe oder Breite im Menuleisten-Feld «Transformieren» so verhält, als hätte ich das Kettensymbol ausgewählt. Ändere ich die Höhe, verändert sich die Breite entsprechend proportional mit, und umgekehrt. Schliessen des Programms und erneutes Öffnen behebt den Fehler dann für einige Zeit, bevor er wieder auftaucht. Im Werkzeug «Skalieren» hatte ich probehalber die Option «proportional» entfernt, um einen Zusammenhang auszuschliessen, aber es hatte keinen Effekt.

・変形パネルで数値入力すると、縦横比率の鍵アイコンが解除されているにもかかわらず、内部的に縦横比が固定されてしまう。
・ドラッグでの変形は正常に行える。
・Illustratorを再起動すると一時的に直るが、時間が経つと再発する。
・環境設定の初期化、再インストール、オブジェクトの再作成などでは改善しない。

【再現性】
・新規ファイルでも既存ファイルでも発生。
・特定のオブジェクトで発生しやすい。
・再起動で一時的に改善するが、作業を続けると再発する。

【期待する動作】
・鍵アイコンを解除している場合、数値入力時に縦横比が勝手に固定されないこと。

ユーザー側で複雑な回避策を行わないと正常動作しないため、Illustrator本体の不具合として確認・修正を希望します。

Hi! It is every object. No caps lock. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the new version of Illustrator with no change. The width and height dimensions will not disconnect from one another.

The left part of the Control panel is not shown in the video you shared — does it say 'Rectangle' or 'Path'?
Does it happen with any other object in this document? in any new document?
If this is the only objects that misbehaves, can you paste this border into a doc and share it here, please?

...and just in case, can you check if Caps Lock is on?

If I have a rectangle for example and I unlock the width and height so that I can change the values separately, If I change the width or height (size) the object transforms proportionally.

Example:

Object 500 H x 500 W px (locked):
If I change H -50px I get 450 H x 450 W px.

#Problem
Object 500 H x 500 W px (Unlocked):
If I change H -50px I expected to get 450 H x 500 W px.
But what I get is 450 H x 450 W px.
