Close button has gap
[windows 10] The close button on Illustrator has gap in the corner - and when your mouse goes to the corner (which it usually does when you want to close a window) - you are clicking on thee X button of the program beneath it. ...This is very furstrating and i just closed other software where i lost an hour of work. Adobe this is sloppy - Photoshop has simillar button, but the gap is closed, while for example - After effects uses the normal windows 10 border ....make this stuff the same! Can't Add Artboards in Increments of 10 by Using Shift
Used to be able in the new document window add 10 artboards by shift+clicking the buttons to the side. Now whenever I do it, it's just one at a time. Would be nice to have that back.

win10 2009 kein konformer Kachelhintergrund in der Startmenü-Verknüpfung
ich bin mir relativ sicher, das die fehlerhafte Darstellung des illustrator icons im neuen win 10 startmenü nur im dark mode) mit einem in der illustrator.exe implementierten xml code zusammen hängt.
microsoft wird mit dem nächsten update die icon hintergründe im startmenü deaktiviert. im dark mode ist dann jede kachel dunkelgrau, die typo ist weiß. beim Illustrator icon ist die Schrift aber schwarz und der Hintergrund hellgrau.
der white mode von win 10 2009 ist nicht betroffen!
ich habe illustrator & creative cloud mehrfach installiert und die Registry danach gesäubert (sogar ganz frisch auf einem zweit Rechner für Testzwecke installiert).…

Need to double up on action when resizing artboard to bounds or art
Op Sys: macOS Catalina 10.15.6
Illustrator version: 24.2.3Hello– After years of putting up with this I am hoping to finally have it cleared up. When I want to resize the artboard to either the artwork bounds or selected art, the app 'ignores' my first attempt to do so and only picks it up after the second attempt.

Impossible to change preset of work area. Right panels, tools and control bar disappear every opening
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Illustrator version: 24.3
Everytime I open a document (new or saved) right panels, tools and control bar desappear. Moreover, work area settings doesn't work: at first the work area doesn't appear and, if I try to set it, it only takes the "automation" configuration but the relative panels do not appear1 vote -
Info Panel doesn't scale down horizontally on Mac OS. Windows version scales fine. (MacOS 10.15.5)
Tried several 5k iMacs to double check this wasn't a fluke, can't scale the Info Panel down on either one, use to be able to scale it down quite a bit (scaling works fine on the Windows version) only seems to affect the Mac version (since v24.0) doesn't scale as far. See attached image for reference.

Magnifying and Hand tool for macOS Catalina 10.15.6 stopped work since upgrading to Illustrator v24.2.3
Reseting the Preferences does not resolve the issue. Turning off animated zoom does not help either.

New document (File > New) window does not display options and has overlapping text
The "Create New Document" window doesn't display any options, just a blank panel. Also, the text is overlapping itself and unreadable. I cannot create a new document to any specified size.

File Save Window Font Styling Unreadable
(System: MacBook Pro 16" OS X 10.15 Illustrator 24.2.3)
When attempting to save a file, the save to window's text styling is nearly unreadable, the padding/margins are way too large, making the paragraphs very thin. Select buttons are pushed below fold, and window needs to be expanded to full screen in order to select where to save file.

crashes when select pull-down menu
OS : Windows 10 Pro 1909 (18363.1016)
illustrator version : 24.2.3 (64-bit)When selecting an item from the color mode or raster effect pull-down menu in a new document crashes app. It's a problem that has continued to occur ver 2020. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that doesn't solve the problem.

Artboard moves when clicking in Recolor Artwork dialog
Using Windows 10 English & Illustrator 24.3.1 beta.
In them Recolor Artwork dialog (with the new color wheel), I can make the artboard move down or to the right by interacting with the "Dominant Colors" box.
Steps to reproduce:
1) With an open document, select artwork
2) Open Recolor Artwork dialog
3) Click in the "Dominant Colors" box, move the mouse slightly upwards, then hold the cursor where it is (around the top of the "Dominant Colors" box).Expected result: The artboard does not move
Actual result: The artboard moves downwards*** the artboard can be moved to the right…

V24.2.3 Artboard Lockup
When using the artboard selection tool, selecting multiple items may trigger Illustrator to lock up and become unresponsive. The application doesn't report as non-responsive but the UI becomes unclickable.

Problem with Direct selections (A) - Clicking on the patch does not mark the object
Hi,
something has changed in Illustrator updates.I understand that an object nested / masked in an object should not be editable with the Selections Tool (V) from the main object level. Yes, and that's good.
But definitely NOT when use tool (A). This is a different work scope situation in Illustrator when working with the Direct Selections Tool (A).
Then each track visible in the Outline view should be selectable.This has made the job a lot more complicated now when I want to select objects inside a crop and edit their properties or shape.

It is no longer possible to speed up vertical scroll holding SHIFT
Holding SHIFT causes AI to fast scroll horizontally.
Holding SHIFT + CMD causes AI to fast scroll horizontally.IE — no longer possible to fast scroll vertically??

Illustrator 125% Scaling is missing... (UI is too big, or too small)

i have a 16.5 inches laptop with latest version of windows 10, and 1920*1080 full HD display.
the normal, and default UI scale of Windows 10 is 125% on my screen, that looks very great and standard.
in illustrator 2020, i have a big problem in UI scaling. there is just two options:
scale to lower supported scale factor, and scale to higher supported scale factor.... that first one makes UI scale to 100% and i can't read anything, and second one makes it on 150% scale that is very very big.there is not same problem in photoshop…

Control panel to set coordinates is missing
Before the last update I used to be able to draw a square or ellipse then type the location I wanted to place it, X or Y. Now that is gone. Now I have to open another box "TRANSFORM" in order to place the shape exactly where I wanted it. Very inconvenient. If I at least had the ability to dock that box at the top it would make life much easier. It has been at the top for as long as I can remember. I often use this like a CAD software when I draw. We can choose to show it instead of Properties with Window > Control.

Units dropdown in New Document dialog is trimmed, 'Millimeters' option is not visible
