Hi Everyone,
We have improved the working experience of Free Distort tool. Now the bounding box will not reset! This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

Hi Everyone,
All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

Hi Everyone, This feature was shipped in Illustrator 2020 version. Please go to Preferences>Selection & Anchor Display > and check ‘Select and unlock objects on canvas’. Enabling this preference will display a lock icon when you select the locked object.

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.

Rotate the *Artboard view* would be of no use to me. I need to edit while my view is tilted. In a perfect world, I would be able to hold the R key, rotate the Artboard to my liking, and return to the tool I was using before when I release the R key. Just like I do in Photoshop. How I miss the springloaded keys from Photoshop. Currently only the modifier keys (shift, alt and ctrl in Windows) work like that in Illustrator.
