We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.

The team has encountered several issues with this feature. It requires them to change the basic algorithms and it is going to take them more time than anticipated.
While it still works in Beta 28.8.0.7, the next Beta build will have Inside/Outside aligned strokes for open paths disabled. The Beta is scheduled to be live on 7th of August.
Once this is ready to be enabled back, the team will update the status.

Now you can scale you artwork with artboards using Artboard tool , Artboard Dimensions and Preset.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

The solution is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.
PDF is now available as type in File > Export > Export As dialog.
However, File > Adobe PDF Presets menu, similar to one InDesign has, to allow even quicker export, is absent still.

Hooray, it is fixed in the latest Beta 29.5.0.15 — the Constrain Angle is now respected as expected for the Line Tool. Please test it and comment back.

Hi Everyone,
All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.
We are working on making all remaining preview check-boxes sticky. Will update this thread when done!

The Theme Color Picker doesn’t work when...
In a document with artworks and images,
1. Select artworks and click the Recolor icon, then go to Advanced Option.
2. Enable [Open Advance Recolor Artwork dialog on launch]
3. Quit Illustrator
4. Open Illustrator
5. Select artworks
6. Click the Recolor icon in Control Panel
7. Disable [Open Advance Recolor Artwork dialog on launch]
8. Close the Recolor Windows
9. With the Artworks still selected
10. Click the Recolor icon in Control Panel again
11. Click the Color Theme Picker
12. Click on an image in the document
Results: Nothing!
To make it works again, we need to close the illustrator application and reopen it.
This is in 2021 and also 2022.
