This is fixed in 27.1.0 Prerelease build-GM candidate build 2, available in Creative Cloud Desktop Prerelease section.
As part of the fix, we have added suffix checkbox in ExportAs dialog to toggle on/off the functionality.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.2.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

This is exactly how it works now — Alt+clicking a swatch applies it to selected gradient stop. Please comment if it’s not what you had in mind.

I am closing the ticket due to lack of response.
Please get in touch support using any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Please give a reference to this post so that we can identify you.
Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.An error occurred while saving the comment gabe mccool commentedLibrary panel is unresponsive.

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.
An error occurred while saving the comment gabe mccool commentedYes, it’s painstakingly slow to add dimensions for client approval. It’s rare but does happen when diagonal dimensions are needed and would be nice to not need rely on the inaccurate measure tool and info panel for a reading.

Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!
Dear Illustrator Community,
I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.
While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.
Our Approach
We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.
It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…

Hi everyone! Thank you for your feedback so far.
As we make progress, we wanted to hear your thoughts regarding the intended functionality of this solution. We are sharing two scenarios forproposed behavior of this functionality, please review these and let us know your feedback:
Scenario #1: The area calculation will only consider the path geometry of an object and not include the stroke weight as part of the computed area. To calculate the area of the stroke, the object can be Expanded so that a separate compound path is created for the stroke.
Scenario #2: Appearance-altering effects (e.g., Drop Shadows, Gaussian Blurs) that do not modify the underlying path geometry will not influence the area calculation. We will continue to calculate the area of the actual closed path.
We have also attached a visual reference for these scenarios to this post. Please let us know your thoughts!

As you probably know, Illustrator today allows to change this behavior with a dedicated option in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display section.
However, it’s not that accessible, especially when you are already move and copy your artboards.
If you wish this option to be more exposed, consider upvoting this request: Display Move Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard option in Control panel and Properties while using Artboard tool / mode

Brady... I'm here in strong support! Here is what I was about to suggest... but I think you've expressed my frustration in a lot less words:
1. When working in a single monitor format with collapsable side bar panel menus… a simple update should be employed when it comes to how you drag a new color to your swatches pallette. Currently, if you want to add a color to an auto-collapsed swatches panel, the swatches palette has to be unhitched from the side bar, ( to keep from auto collapsing). It’s a minor inconvenience, but happens to me often enough that I think it deserves a quick look by programmers
My suggestion would be similar to how you can drag objects or multiple layers in photoshop to other open documents nested in the top bar.
With multiple layers selected in Photoshop, with ease, you just drag from your current active doc window to the intended opened file.
In Illustrator, when I try and drag a new swatch over it shows a plus symbol while crossing the screen, (indicating that it’s been selected and is in transport for a new drop location), but when you hover over the swatch panel icon in the sidebar, the swatches library ignores your knock at the door.
Anyone else experience the same minor frustration?
