  2. Drag, alt, and resizing are all working incorrectly & create new non-existent objects

    Items I select and resize seem to adjust from arbitrary points that appear, unrelated to the shape of the geometry. Attached, is a screenshot where I changed the scale of the blue diamond. The other green selected box doesn't actually exist, but is now included in the geometry of the original. If you group an object which has one of these phantoms, it will stay in the group indefinitely. Additionally, the alt-drag feature creates many duplicates. If you're scaling using the alt-command, it will work for a second and then start duplicating.

  3. Illustrator CC (multiple versions) stroke alignment error when rectangle is set to a certain size

    I have tried this across multiple computers that have Illustrator CC at different updates (mine is 21.1.0) & get the same result every time.

    If you create a rectangle that is at least 48" w x 120" h, set the stroke to 0.25pt, no fill, align the stroke to the inside and the review the bottom left corner an error appears. The bottom part of the path tapers from the correct thickness to no thickness from right to left. It seems to go away if you make the stroke slightly thicker or if you make the rectangle smaller. Not sure…

  4. compound path

    Hi. When i make compound path and give it a gradient and rotate it manually by 180 degrees everything is ok. When this object i rotate back by 180 degrees also everything is ok (gradient back to original 0 degrees). This how it should works. But when i save file and open it again this rotated object is "damaged" when i try to rotate it by 180 degrees this gradient dont rotate but it should. This happens only when i save file and open it again. All guys in my team have same problem with gradients in compound path.

  5. Carcoal feather Stroke instead of basic

    Ai CC 2017, 2018; I was trying to create a circle with clean basic stroke style instead it keeps appearing as a charcoal feather stroke. I was working on Surface pro 4 while converting an image to vector. This doesn't happen on Pc or Mac.

    Illustrator CC 2018 Lines appear jagged, CPU / GPU shows no difference, simplifying path does not help, and anti-aliasing has been turned off.

  9. Style Menu in Warp Options panel not opening.

    CC2018 in OSX.11

    When I click on OBJECT/ENVELOPE DISTORT/MAKE WITH WARP when an object is selected I cannot open the STYLE menu in the WARP OPTIONS box. I click on the menu and only ARC is available, menu does not open.

  10. Bug With Blend tool with check preview mode and text in CC 2018 on Mac and PC

    In Illustrator CC 2018, when you want to modify a shape gradient by passing it in step with check preview mode. The software crashes every time. I tested on PC and Mac with different windows and OS, and each time the software crashes.

  11. Anchor Point Tool can create shape so huge, not enough memory to Undo

    I was using the Anchor Point Tool to add handles to an anchor point (using mouse pointer to click and drag handles into existence), and suddenly, the shape stroke line shot off the artboard into virtual oblivion (apparently a gigantic loop causing a massively huge shape). When I tried to Undo (Ctrl-Z) a message box popped up saying "The operation cannot complete because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available."

    I f'ing lost several hours of work because I had to close Illustrator and not save ('cuz I was afraid it would reload into the same condition, thus destroying many [MANY]…

  13. Rotating Guides

    After rotating a guide with any angle thats not a 90 degree one. Illistrator will not allow me to either rotate it again or move the angle guide. This feature does not work when zoomed in at at least 902% or higher. However, when I zoom out to at least 901% or small, it works normally again. This makes work a lot more time consuming constantly zooming in and zooming back out again.

  14. Illustartor cc 2018 Crashing when clicking the paintbrush tool or shape builder tool

    Illustartor cc 2018 Crashing when clicking the paintbrush tool or shape builder tool in the tools panel. The "N" shortcut for the underlying pencil tool also crashes illustrator. I have reset preferences, but to no prevail.

    I am not using GPU as Illustrator can not find my Nvidia GT540M
    Windows 10
    8gb ram

  15. Scatter brush rotation orientation to line.

    When using a scatter brush with rotation set to the line (not page) the vertical orientation will randomly flip. For instance, when I'm using the scatter brush to create a bush with stems and leaves pointing up (natural orientation), after creating the line and applying the scatter brush sometimes the brush will apply pointing down.

  16. Bug star with a radius of 0.

    Since updating to #illustrator CC 2018, why it is now impossible to create a star with a radius of 0. I am a French trainer and it is now impossible to create a star with a radius of 0. I tested on PC and MAC and there is always this problem.

  17. Brush edge dissapears. Can't see the shape of my brush. Randomly.

    Cannot see the outline of my brush. Randomly it dissapears. It would be great if I was into random looks to what I do. But I'm not.

    In fact, I'll hazard a guess that not many people paying close to £50/month are very into randomly varying results.

  18. Panel Options not displaying on click and hold

    In the panel selection for all the tools (natively on the left) as a click and hold on a tool (ie. The rectangle tool) it does not show any options to select anything else such as the ellipse tool. This issue exists on all of the tool buttons as well as trying to selecting font sizes, in the character panel. Another example is the transparency dropdown. The dropdown just doesn't show up when I click it.
