1. Não consigo salvar arquivo

   Geralmente uso o mesmo layout, quando quero criar um arquivo novo, abro o antigo edito o texto e imagem e salvo com outro nome em outra pasta. Só que não tenho conseguido fazer isso. Eu coloco para salvar, escolho a pasta e ele simplesmente não salva. Só Consigo salvar por cima do arquivo antigo

2. AI 28.1 - Error Message in Acrobat when saving files with transparencies

   When I save as a PDF using anything other than PDFx I get an error when the file opens in Acrobat. It seems the issue has to do with masked vectors and transparency.

3. Insufficient data for an image

   Saving as .PDF from .AI gives me this warning if I am using any type of image (.JPG, .PSD, .TIFF, .PSB) over 100MBs. When the PDF starts to open in Acrobat the warning comes up.

   Machine: Mac Studio 13.5.1 (22G90)
   Illustrator 27.8.1

   I solved the problem by going back to version 27 and exporting one of the files that I was having issues with.

4. Fill opacity, rgba color results in no color

   Released Version of Illustrator (28.0)
   Problem Description:
   I can change the opacity of an element fill using fill-opacity attribute or by adding the fill like this: fill="rgba(12, 12, 12, 0.5)". But seems rgba color is not recognizable by AI, we see such element as black. If we save this as svg (save as -> svg), we can see that such elements do not have color at all, that why we see them as black.
   Workaround: To avoid it we can use fill-opacity instead of rgba. But then, if we save such svg in the way like file -> export -> export for screens, (format svg), the color with fill-opacity is modified to rgba color. If we open such svg in AI, we again see black elements
   Expected result: handle rgba color in correct way
   I attached txt file, but this file is svg. Just replace .txt with .svg and then open it in AI

6. Replace File doesn't work (creates new file)

   I opened an EPS file, made changes, and then saved. When I saved I was alerted that the file already existed and asked if I wanted to replace the file. I selected Replace. However, Illustrator ignores my selection and creates a new file with '-01' amended onto the end of the file name.

7. Illustrator exports SVG with font set to ArialMT

   When we export artwork from Illustrator with text formatted with the Arial font, the SVG code has the font set to ArialMT (the old Postscript name). This generally isn't a problem unless the image is displayed on a system that does not have the ArialMT font installed.

   Short of changing the SVG code, is there anyway of preventing Illustrator from using the old Postscript name for the Arial font.

   It seems to be same with artwork created on MacOS and Windows.

   Inkscape does not have this problem.

8. Export for Screens does not remember color model format settings for JPG 100, JPG 80, etc.

   When Illustrator is closed, it forgets the color model that was chosen for exporting JPEGs with Export for Screens.

   For reference of how this setting is accessed:
   File > Export > Export for Screens
   Then in the Formats area, click the gear icon.
   In the column, select any of the JPG formats (JPG 100, JPG 80, et cetera).
   Then there is a drop-down labeled "Color Model" that allows you to choose between CMYK, RGB, and grayscale.

   If you select RGB then click "Save Settings" it will remember the setting while Illustrator is open. But when you close Illustrator, and open it again, the setting will be reverted to CMYK when you are working in a CMYK document.

   This is rather annoying for me because I work in the exhibit design field and graphic layout are intended for print (CMYK) but often need to be visualized in 3D models which require RGB images. So exporting to RGB is essential and having to change the setting frequently adds more hassle to the process.

9. File Folder Permanent Deletion Bug

   I was opening up a file, and right clicked on a folder to rename it. My finger slipped, and I clicked "move to trash" which is right next to "rename"

   The folder disappeared.

   Ctrl Z did not restore it

   IT WAS NOT IN THE TRASH.

   It was GONE.

   Please investigate why files/folders are PERMANENTLY DELETED if you attempt to rename them in the open file menu and slip and hit 'move to trash' by simple mistake, or at least give a warning about PERMANENT DELETION. I am very upset to have lost a couple hours' work this way.

   Edit: The file location was not on my computer but on a network. I would a >least< expect a confirmation of permanent deletion since MacOS gives a warning when attempting to 'move to trash' a similar folder in the Finder.

10. Fail to export. Transparency: Other options?

    Illustrator fails to export artwork correctly when "Other Options" showing under Opacity in Appearance palette. This artwork was created via legacy 3d extrude. It was also 'pathfindered' and 'eyedroppered,' the latter with Appearance checked.

11. SVG embedded images not showing up in 2023 version

    I am having an issue with reopening an already-saved .svg file, with an embedded image in the file. The image is not showing up when I re-open it in Illustrator 2023. This has me thinking that I did not save the svg correctly - choosing for the image within the svg to be embedded - when I go to File<Save As<SVG. But when I go to check the same file in Illustrator 2022 or in Inkscape, the embedded image is in fact there.
    So this makes me think this is an Illustrator 2023 bug?

    Procedure to replicate bug : Open “ImportFileInside.ai” on Mac studio M1 (apple silicon) machine and change the links inside from “FileLowDPI.ai” file to “FileHighDPI.ai” file. It doesn’t work and show an error message but works on Intel based Macs.

13. Freezing on saving locally with fonts

    Hi, I am working on illustrator 28.0. Since the last update, Illustrator freezes whenever I try to save anything with fonts on my local drive. Even when I was using the Illustrator default font (Myriad pro font)

    Things I tried that did not work:

    • uninstalling and reinstalling

    • installing earlier version (illustror 27).

    • repairing the creative cloud itself.

    • turning off background file saving as suggested.

    Things that worked:

    • saving to cloud

    • saving the exact same files on other laptop with same fonts (both with same and different versions of Illustrator).

    • outlining all font layers

    Notes:

    • I am saving to my local drive, which I totally have permission to. (it saves normally when I outline fonts).

    • I am working on a windos 10 pro, Lenovo DESKTOP-1EE76FL, Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz, 12 RAM, 64-bit operating system. with attached Huion touch screen

    • The file only saves on my local drive as .eps.

    • when it freezes in the task manager it shows "very high power usage" by Adobe Illlustrator, and something called "com.adobe.AdobeSplashkit.GraphicWindow" not responding, and sometimes it is something called AIRobin that is not responding.

    • Finally, I do have many fonts (but that has been for ever and never been an issue) and I do not use a font manager.

    Please feel free to ask me anything, but find me a solution. Help me.

14. Can not "Save As" in Adobe Illustrator

    I'm using macOS Sonoma 14.1 on a iMac 27-inch monitor.
    After I upgraded to Sonoma I can not "Save As" any illustrator files in Illustrator 2023 or 2024. I can only save as if I open a previous file that I have saved on my hard drive before upgrading. I have made sure that I have "read/write" privileges but still no luck on saving new file unless I save it to iCloud. Has anyone had the same problem. I have researched on the web and have seen that this problem has been discussed for many years but this is the first time I have experienced this. I can not figure out if this is a app problem or a system problem because this problem never happened until I upgraded to Sonoma. Any advise is welcomed.

16. Bug: Adobe Acrobat PDF fields are no longer retained in Illustrator file

    Adobe Acrobat PDF fields in a Illustrator PDF file should be retained upon save. Up to version 27.5, Illustrator did respect and retain PDF text fields, I started noticing the issue in Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7

    1. OS: macOS Ventura 13.4

    2. Affected AI versions: 27.6.1 and 27.7

    3. Steps to reproduce problem: Open an existing illustrator PDF file that has Acrobat PDF text fields embedded, make any change and then save the file. After re-opening the file, the Acrobat PDF text fields are no longer present.

    4. Expected results: Acrobat PDF text fields in a Illustrator file should be retained upon save. Up to version 27.5, Illustrator did respect and retain PDF text fields, I started noticing the issue in Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7

17. Autosave not working

    In the latest update from Illustrator, my auto save is not working (despite being selected in Preferences).
    I've lost at least three hours' worth of work in the past two weeks. I habitually save, but if I only remember once every half hour or hour and then Illustrator crashes (which it also keeps doing) none of my work is being recovered.

    In the eight years I have been using this program, that has never happened.

    What gives? Major waste of my time and also irritating AF

18. Illustrator fails to export all text into final pngs or jpegs

    I have been exporting images with text layers and I've noticed Illustrator seems to indiscriminately not export certain lines of text (not layer groups to be clear, but random lines of text). I don't know how to replicate this issue because it appears random, but I did include pngs of the file that I had this issue with most recently.

19. a bug about importing vectorgraph

    After importing a vector graph (pdf file), the vector graph appears very weird in the Adobe illustrator 2021. The imported pdf file seems to be covered with mosaics.

    My PC is Macbook 2022 M2 . Previously, all look very well in another computer (Intel chip). I have no idea about what this bug should be attributed to? my computer system or Adobe illustrator 2021?

    オブジェクト内の3d効果を押したところ、イラレが長時間動かなくなりました。一日経ってもそのままだった為しようがなくアプリを終了させたところ、完成していたファイルが消えていました。
