Bounding boxes disappeared
Since updating to Version 27.2 all the bounding boxes have disappeared. To resize objects I can only put numbers in the Height and Width text boxes or click and drag individual anchor points with the Direct Selection tool. There is no way to click and drag an entire object to resize it. Late yesterday, even the anchor points disappeared, but closing and reopening Illustrator brought them back.

Can't ‘Place’ in Illustrator 2023

Adobe Illustrator 2023 27.0.1Can't ‘Place’ in Illustrator 2023, the window to select a document is almost completely invisible, so it’s impossible to select any documents to place.
The only way to place anything is by dragging it into illustrator from the file of origin...It doesn’t matter if you use the shortcut cmd+shift+P or go to File > Place, both results in the same issue, which is very annoying and frustrating.

Preference dialogue box
Hi, When I try to open the Preference dialogue box I get something strange - see attachment, please. Both through the shortcut cmd K and from the Illustrator/Preferences menu

Enter key won't close dialog boxes in 27.0
In (all) previous version of Illustrator going back to 88, the highlighted entry in a dialog could be closed with the enter key. In 27.0 it now requires the addition of the command key in order to work. The panel shown is one example. Mac OS Monterey 12.6, early 2020 Macbook Pro.

Wake from Sleep Bug
M1 MacBook Pro, Mac OS 11.5.2. - AI 25.4.1.
Every time I wake my MBP from sleep, AI window is resized to half screen (horizontal) and all Palettes are whacked! all bunched in corner of screen, have to reset window size and reset palettes, every single time. Tool icons color are with black instead of normal
Icons such as colors, text, etc. are not the default color, it is black, I can't see which tool I'm using, how to solve this?

language change
I am not able to change the language of the apps I am paying monthly money for. Your support team ist not able to help / sending me around, so I explained 3 people what is the problem in german and english. I have changed the language on my michrosoft windonws - it is in english now, my adobe cloud is in english + I have deinstalled and installed the apps / nothing helps -still german - the support team is not able to help / sending me the same links / very annoying and dissapointing - adobe is giving…

color picker - thin grey line between comparison swatches
Today I noticed a thin grey line between the comparison color swatches on my color picker window. It puts a border between the swatches, meaning I can't directly compare their color. It's driving me nuts!
I checked with coworkers, I'm the only one having this issue. It happens regardless of what document I'm working on. All my coworkers and myself are using the latest version of illustrator CC and are using up-to-date windows 10.

Menu interface is not displayed on Monterey 12.5.1 and Illustrator 26.5
Hi,
I have an issue with illustrator 26.5 :
I can't open files and the menu interface is not displayed, nothing works.
Same issue with InDesign 16.4.3 and all 17 versions.
I got a MBP with M1 pro on the latest macOS (12.5.1), i tried the Apple Silicon and Intel versions with Rosetta, both doesn't work.Thanks

Sloppy GUI design
In the most recent version of Illustrator for Mac, 24.0.0, the Save as dialogue seems to be designed by a startup company for use on Windows. :) Not a big issue, but please, Adobe, move the Format drop-down menu so that it sits in line with the Save cloud document button. This hurts my eye.

With large UI scaling enabled, New Document dialogue does not properly display input text boxes
Setting UI Scaling preference to large causes the New Document dialogue to incorrectly display text input values due to baseline being too high and clipping off top of characters, making it difficult to edit. This does not appear to affect other dialogues although not all were reviewed.

Cannot create new file and every time I restart it asks me to repair creative cloud, its extremely annoying!!
This doesn't happen all the time, but most of the time I click "File -> New" nothing happens? its extremely annoying!!!!!! I have windows 10 with all the newest updates, it also asks me to repair creative cloud almost every time I start my computer. Everything else works smoothy except Illurstator.

keyboard shortcut(s) don't work
I have a couple keyboard shortcuts that do not work. Among them are Ctrl-Shift-O to outline fonts. and Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ to arrange. I only have one custom shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P to place objects.

Navigation bar info in lower left gets displayed in wrong location
I have 3 monitors.
2 are 27" 4K resolution, and the third is a 24" XP-PEN Pen display (2560x1440), which is where Illustrator always starts and runs in full-screen.Illustrator apparently cannot always figure out how to calculate all its object locations, since the navigation info on the bottom bar on each file open lands UP the screen, when opening an Illustrator document and Illustrator is in Maximized mode.

Blue learn box won't go away
I cannot see part of my workspace because the blue learn box covers up the panels and I cannot get it to go away. How am I supposed to use your program when your supposedly helpful box covers up what I need to see in order to create projects? This is unbelievably frustrating, and I am probably going to have to use some other program to create my logo since I cannot use the work space because of this idiotic blue learn bubble that won't go away and can't be moved, apparently.
21 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

strange messages when saving
this started with 26.5 update: saving a file shows a message that some variable text is converted to paths in the save progress dialogue.
Since in some older version this message sometimes came before a crash with data loss, I verified the file - no text objects at all. Also it seems that the message is related to the amount of material saved1 vote
